I realized in July that $37 a month was being charged to my charge card by FormSwift.com. I had not heard of the company and did not know what the charge was for. I am not aware of any arrangements with the company and I'm not aware of ANY ongoing "subscription" arrangements with any company. My credit card company later confirmed that this was the 4th month of the billing, all for same amount; all on the same day of the month. The phone number of the vendor (attached to the charge) led only to a phone recording directing me to a website. (This was not a phone tree and not a temporary message while you wait for an agent. It was just a recording that repeated 3 times then terminated itself.) I studied the website and found an email address. I sent my inquiry and received an auto-response telling me my inquiry was being looked into & they'd get back to me. Meanwhile, my credit card company told me I'd need to cancel my card & request a new one in order to dispute. That is problematic because it'll take lots of time to untangle my credit card from my auto-bill-pay agreements. This is all still going on, but since then i've seen that others apparently have the same problem.

Hello FormSwift BBB, I want to understand why I was charged a full months subscription even though I had canceled the trial with time to spare. In addition, I was never emailed a receipt or an alert letting me know such a charge was going to occur on 10-25-23. The free trial charge of $1.95 appeared on my credit card (x6240) on 10-18-23. With the trial period, I would have had up to and including 10-25-23. However, I canceled on Tuesday, 10-24-23 1 day before the end of the trial period. I then got charged $39.95 on 10/25/23 even though I had canceled my trial period the day before (10/24/23). I never authorized signing up for full services that cost $39.95/mo. Lastly, FormSwifts cancellation email sent to me on 10-24-23 clearly says: Were sorry to see you go. You will not be billed further. If you see an unauthorized charge on your statement, please contact us immediately. There was ZERO indication that I would be billed further after that point in time (10-24-23), nor be billed $39.95 the next day -- 10-25-23. So how is it even proper business etiquette, let alone ethical, that FormSwift charged my credit card on 10/25/23? Your company has the BBB logo on your site, so I assumed that your company follows ethical and sound business practices when it comes to customer transactions. Furthermore, in your Terms of Use document, you say, We want you to be 100% satisfied with our Services..if there has been an error in billing. I feel stolen from blindly, and I feel your transaction process is overeager, vague and unfairly deceptive. My hope is that you kindly show a courtesy to view this issue from my point of view as a customer. Please email me to rectify. The refund will need to be put on a different credit card, as I no longer have the card x6240. Thank you, and I look forward to hearing back from you via email soon.

On Feb. 27, 2024, I started a free trial with Formswift. The same day, I canceled my free trial. March 6, I was charged monthly fee of $37. I noticed on April 9th and proceeded to complain to the company. The company directed me to sign into my account and cancel but my account was already canceled and I have no way of signing into their website to cancel. Since then, I was charged $37 monthly, from March 2024 to July 2024, being a total of $185 that I am requesting they refund to my credit card immediately.

I have never had an account with **********************, and they were able to obtain my credit card information and continuously charged me $37.00 monthly for the past 10 months. I had not noticed up until recently and I called my bank to report the fraud. They blocked Formswift yet it is still saying they plan on charging me this month. This is a scam that is happening to hundreds of people. I have lost hundreds of dollars that I could be using to pay for my childs medical needs. This business needs to be investigated and stopped. This should be considered theft.

7/2/24 - I set up a free trial with Form Swift/Drop Box - i paid $1.99 for the trial it wasn't a free one. I had to put my card in there. On 7/3/24 I tried to delete the trial and their online chatting people said I could only deactivate it which wouldn't delete the account AND my credit card on file. So I attached all the emails that won't do it either. All I want is the account DELETED and my credit card info DELETED. They are refusing to do this - going in circles - referring me to other places, etc.

5/20/24 Unauthorized charged $96.00 USD Software product did not commit to providing any information. I did not receive notice of charge against my credit card. They Did not send any email communication before authorizing charge. I've reached out to business and they have been unhelpful and have been dodgy and won't send me a receipt of the charge. this is a red flag. They will not send me a report/receipt of the charge on my card. I'm concerned I will have to cancel my credit card if they have my information. They are associated with dropbox but I have seen others in the community face the same problems with so called "FormSwift". You will find other complaints about them for this very reason.

I am going in for an operation. I filed a form for a living will on their website. It stated $1.95 for one form or I could sign up for a year at $37.00. I clicked on one form only and when my statement came, I was charged $1.95 to which I agreed and $37.00 for which I did not. I emailed and asked for a refund and was told "Due to constraints in the FormSwift Terms of Use, we are unable to issue a refund for the referenced charge.

This business uses sponsored ****** ads to show up when you ****** "online notary services". They do not have notaries, they are a worsen Docusign that doesn't try to trick you with click bait. Worse they advertise as FREE, but when you use their "FREE" service they charge you for a trial. this is false advertising, there is nothing FREE about it. Further once I signed up- thinking I was going to get what i needed, as you can't see all the services until you go through with the trial, I realized it was click bait and called them within 20 mins to ask where this existed and once they said it didn't I said that's not what i was looking for and asked for my money back. The company refused despite me not being able to use anything they had and me telling them that is not what I ordered. On top of lying about a service being free, they are also ill intended more interested in making any cent they can than actually providing services to their clients. I disputed their charge with ****, but they should still refund my card. I would like you to make them to that and change their deceptive advertising.
