Do not use Rocket Lawyer. They are a scam. I used it for one form to give medical authorization for my kids when I traveled and left them with a babysitter. I canceled within the window and they continued to bill me $59.99 a month and deny I ever canceled. I never logged in ever again or used the service in anyway but they refused to provide a credit. Very under handed and scammy.

1 starHorrible experience. Maybe all of 2 minutes with an actual lawyer. Receiving Taxpayer number before ever receiving EIN for my company. They don't listen. They don't respond in a timely manner. They mis-filed. Then, follow up emails trickle in with this form and that form (and the wrong forms btw) that need to be filled out and signed--no instruction on how. The one saving grace--Alexa, an ***** of an employee who actually listened, filled out necessary parts (kind of whole reason I purchased your "service"), and explained my part. Just spend the extra money and get personalized service with an actual lawyer. It'll happen 1000 x faster and save you the grief, plus the time I've had to put actual earning on hold. They say it is free, but they require you to provide payment details before you get your free trial membership. They are banking on people neglecting to cancel so they can charge their big bucks membership. In my opinion, this is unethical. If they want to provide a free trial, only asking for payment information if and when you decide to join, that would be the way to go about this ethically.Rocket Lawyer

No stars if I could. I signed up for the membership to get a trademark going, but I havent received any services despite making three to four payments in the first two weeks. I initially called to clarify what I was paying for since the attorneys were asking for even more money on top of the membership feewhen trademarking was the whole reason I signed up.Ive called multiple times and keep getting put on hold, told the trademark team is unavailable, and promised callbacks that never happen. Ive also left voicemails with no response. Were now in the fourth week, and I still havent received a single callback or email regarding my situation.Instead of helping me with my trademark, I keep getting calls from RocketLawyer trying to sell me on opening an LLC. I chose to downgraded to the free plan. However, my account was automatically upgraded back to Rocket Lawyer+ and my credit card against my consent! The page on their website "Change Membership" is non functional. I was unable to use it when I attempted to downgrade my account again. It states the following: "Once you downgrade your service to a free account, you will lose access to our affordable legal services and your payments will be discontinued." When you click on the "Continue" button, you are redirected to the same page. It first temporarily navigages to "**********************************************************************" before redirecting to "*****************************************************************************." I signed up for the free trial. I was considering keeping my membership for another month for $19. But then I was billed $59. I never even saw a plan for that much and certainly wouldn't have signed up for it. I cancelled my membership or least tried. Upon cancellation, I got a message that I'm still responsible for three more payments. I'm stunned and disappointed that a legal website would employ such deceitful practices. I wish I had read these reviews, seems like I'm not the only one of was scammed. PLEASE BE WARE, it's a shame you can't even trust a legal website. I sent an email requesting the $40 overage fee and to terminate my account immediately without any further charges. I needed I will have my bank take care of it.Rocket Lawyer

Rocket law charge me without telling me they were going to. They told me my subscription would end and they would email me two days before it ended. I received the email in my spam or my regular folder. I had To get a whole new credit card, and report for fraud. Be careful when you sign up with these people because they won’t send you any notice that they’re about to charge you.Rocket Lawyer

I signed up to use the Rocket Lawyer free trial and immediately canceled. I never received an email confirmation from you and come to see you have been charging me $40/month since June. I have no communication from your company I can't even get into my account and your change your password doesn't work. This is highly suspicious especially for a law company.
