Rocket Lawyer (RL) is very user friendly for the not so legal savvy. I used them for a few "basic" contract deals that are "fill in the blank" like AD-LIBS (which now, I dont think I can use in court of law for a legal dispute). My bad review is that they make it seem like they have hired their own group of attorneys. No. No. No. They outsource it. We filed for a Trade Mark (**), which was such an easy process. Actually, one of them got approved by the ** people from the clouds above. HOWEVER, our main business name we are trying to **, got pended. We knew about this before RL knew. I have been emailing them on how to respond on the pending issue for the last 2 weeks. I called and left a message. I even emailed the original attorney that filed it, ***********************, and he he informed me very politely, he can not do anything until he hears from RL. Well, none of us are hearing from RL. When you call this "HUGE" company, you have to leave a VM. I want to know how to respond to this pending ** issue. If I went through a normal ** attorney, we feel like we would have some course or direction. Like, hey we got the email too, we have 90 days to respond, we are working on it. I have received NO ADVICE whatsoever. My regret is using an 'online" attorney website for ACTUAL legal service. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR FOLKS

I started my LLC in 2023 with Rocket Lawyer and decided to sign up for their monthly subscription. Eventually, I was advised to use their tax filing services (which are very expensive). As I began communication with my assigned accountant, he began to send fewer questions and updates. This made me assume things were going accordingly. After a couple of weeks, I triple-checked that no additional information was needed to complete the services and messaged him multiple times about having something that provided documentation of my returns and/or proof of completion. Months pass and no response. During this time I called them directly. On the first call, I was informed that I needed to pay an extra couple hundred dollars to complete the services. The entire call was sketchy and I didnt feel comfortable. Why did my accountant not inform me of this? Why didnt I receive correspondence via email or phone call? So I decided to leave my number with them and make an appointment with a supervisor. They never called. I called back a couple of days later and was told I didnt have an appointment and to call back. I called yet again and now they seemed more serious and assured me that I would have a call back the same day. Never got it. So it seems that Rocket Lawyer is okay with charging me monthly subscription costs, penalties for late tax filings, multiple fees, and over $650 in tax services. I already have money problems, now with this, its gotten bad. Do not use them as I now believe they are scammers. All of this money is gone which I could have used for my family and they still wont give me the time of day. If anyone is interested in filing legal action against rocket lawyer, I dont think that would be a bad idea at all.

In March 2023, I signed up for a free trial with Rocket Lawyer to utilize their service for an LLC document. After reviewing an online statement in June 2024, I discovered that I had been charged a monthly recurring fee of $39.99 for a Rocket Lawyer subscription. I have never received any form of receipt, including email, for these 15 recurring payments, which total $599.85.While I understand that mistakes happen, I am willing to pay the initial $39.99 for the first month, as I did use the service once. However, I find it unacceptable and predatory to be charged for 15 months without any notification. Upon canceling immediately, I requested a refund via email and received a response stating that $119.97 (equivalent to 3 of the 15 payments) would be refunded to the original account. This is unacceptable.As previously mentioned, I am willing to pay the $39.99 for the first month of service. However, I am out a significant amount of money due to what I consider predatory practices. I am requesting a full refund for the remaining charges beyond the first month.

We do explain at the time of sign up that as long as the membership is downgraded during the Trial period, there's no billing whatsoever. Otherwise, it will convert into a Premium Monthly Plan and can also be downgraded at any time in the monthly membership. Very mislead regarding seven day free trial. Charge was pending on day seven to charge as if day 8. Tried contacting Rocket Lawyer and was told because I initiated trial on the 23rd and did not cancel until the 30th, the $39.99 was a legitimate charge. Basically, I was billed because I misunderstood which day was actually the seventh day.

******* helped me today and I was very impressed with her professionalism and knowledge of offered services. I called to cancel services but remain a customer due to her ability to connect and present solutions. There are new subscriptions available! She is a terrific ambassador for Rocket Lawyer.

Very unprofessional, will take your money and ghost you. Used the trademark services and everything was filed. When an office action was received I reached out many times to figure out my next steps with ZERO response, not from the lawyer attached or Rocket Lawyer. Even if something was needed to add on for an office action response there was no communication from this company, yet their lawyer remains on my trademark as my representation? No response to even get their lawyer to remove themself for new counsel. Don't waste your time or money, get real legal representation.

I've been a loyal Rocket Lawyer member for 19 months, paying for their premium plan expecting legal help with a discount, as they claim to have **** attorneys. When I finally needed them, it was a different story. No suitable attorneys, misleading contracts, and poor customer support. Save your money and find a reliable legal service.

They tell you and make you pay a price before that start. Then they come back wanting more money! Then want more money if your tax pro thinks you should pay even more money. Taxes so far has costed me over $2000.00 and still havent been completed. They are scammers and I would NOT let them do your taxes!!!!! I bet they will not be completed and will s**** around and charge me even more money sad that they are scamming business like they are Sale person who tells you what to pay cant even get the price right and will go back and charge your on file credit card with them without notifying you first. I had to remove my cc to keep them from charging. They havent even started or review anything since 3-6-24. But want more and more and more and more money.

Rocket Lawyer has the best customer service in the U.S. They actually care about their reputation and you get to talk to a real human being who will help you without waiting for hours. This is SO UNUSUAL IN TODAYs world. They solve problems and I didnt have to write the *** to get service - unlike with my Epson Printer!!
