I have a Prosper CC and would NEVER suggest anyone get this card. I have made multiple payments online and after the payment it processed their website says, "Payents submitted after 5 PM Eastern Time on a business day will be credited the following business day. THAT IS A LIE. I made a payment 3 days ago and they are telling me it will not be processed until next week (5 business days). Additionally they refuse to take my mailing address which is a PO BOX and will only list my home address where I can't get any mail. THIS COMPANY IS A JOKE!

************ was approved for a prosper card though credit karma. I honestly had no idea at the fee's I would be charged every month. My min payment was $40 but I was also being charged a finance charge of $36. That's almost the same as my payment! Then due to some financial hardships unfortunately I missed a couple of payments so now on top of the $36 finance charge per month I'm being charged a $40 late fee! Didn't they put a cap on the amount companies could charge for late fee?? At this rate I'll never get caught up! Oh, and they also wasted no time reporting it on my credit report either.

Terrible Choice I went through CreditKarma to find a debt consolidation loan. Prosper was one of the lenders that showed up on the list. I applied and was accepted. I received an acceptance email, signed the terms, and sat back to wait for my loan. When I say wait, I mean, WAIT!Prospers emails are very well-written and polite. Thats about the only good experience I had with this place. I received a voicemail from a woman who spoke terrible English. She asked me to call back for some additional information. I called back in and got another representative who struggled to speak English. She asked me questions that I already put on the application. For nearly EVERY question/response, they put me on hold. Then, she asked me to send in my W2 from last year. Several days go by without a word. Then, I get another call asking for more information. Again, the person could barely speak English, so I was placed on hold for each response I gave. It was at that point that I asked them to immediately withdraw my loan request. This whole thing struck me as VERY shady! I wish I had not submitted my financials to them. I am concerned about identity theft now. ??In comparison, I applied through Rocket Loans. I submitted my information and received funding the same day with no problem. On top of that, they sent me a $100 gift card for Amazon as a thank you. Now THATS amazing.I will never consider Prosper again and warn those who are thinking about it. This reflects poorly on Credit Karma as well and I will no longer use them either.

Stay away! I was paying auto pay for several fraud accounts. USAA FEDERAL S&l caught it. Now blocked from ****. Prosper HDQ is ************* c so you can figure they are dishonestw

Worst loan company Ive ever worked with. They dont tell you it can take up to 3 weeks until after you take a hard inquiry. I need the money from my loan 2 weeks ago. Saturday it finally says my money is on the way. They wait until Tuesday to even consider sending it to my account. Now it might take another week for me to even see. Its the 14th today. And they expect my first payment 30 days from today. Absolutely not. Stay away from them. They are not here to help you. They are here to drag you through the mud on their own time

They rejected my loan because of "fraud." I checked with Credit Karma, which I used to apply with, and they told me they have no idea why they would say this; my credit is in good standing. My credit score was 700+, and my income was more than enough. But because they pulled a hard inquiry, my score is down, and I can't apply to other lenders now. This company is absolutely the worst!

Prosper Loam from ************* is a scam. They do not even have correct phone number on their website. They will give you a number to call but it is not legit. Says mailbox is full. I was supposed to enter an ext number.

Biggest liars When I applied it was a note (will not effect on your credit score and will not show on credit report) BUT IT SHOWED Another note No annual fee BUT I GOT CHARGED $39 before I received and activated my card There overseas customer service has no skills of answering questions

I had high hopes for Prosper Marketplace after going through six rigorous interview stages. They seemed genuinely impressed with my qualifications and skills, leading me to believe I was on the brink of securing a promising position. However, my optimism quickly turned to disappointment when I received an email stating that, after much "deliberation," they decided not to move forward with extending me an offer.What baffles me the most is the blatant waste of my time. Six stages of interviews is no small commitment, and to be led on like that only to be ultimately rejected is not only disrespectful but unprofessional. It makes me question the integrity of their hiring process and the sincerity of their initial interest in my candidacy.To make matters worse, upon further research, it became apparent that I'm not the only one who has had a negative experience with Prosper Marketplace. Numerous reviews on Glassdoor highlight similar instances of candidates feeling strung along and ultimately rejected without any valid explanation. Additionally, there are alarming allegations of racial biases within the company, which is simply unacceptable in this day and age.Overall, my experience with Prosper Marketplace left a sour taste in my mouth. Their lack of transparency, coupled with concerning reports of discriminatory practices, paints a bleak picture of the company culture. I would caution anyone considering a career with Prosper Marketplace to proceed with caution and thoroughly research the company's reputation before investing any time or energy into the application process.

They restricted my access online via email. They kept adding late fees when I couldnt access my account on the app after MULTIPLE phone calls to fix the issue. Then they charged off my account after I tried working with them to resolve my access issues. Terrible service and they made my credit score drop 46 point because of their lack of customer service and you cant understand half their staff. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
