This company is an absolute scam and customer service is vastly incompetent and rude. They are literal parasites that take advantage of people in difficult times and trap you into contracts with loose and cryptic terms that no representative can seem to explain. The moment you attempt to force them into an explanation they will become very defensive and outright hostile. I'm convinced that is part of their training, as it's been my experience with every one I've talked to. Most concerning is the loan program through their Upgrade loan card. They use fancy marketing to get you to sign up and make the terms seem amazing and fair. At some point though you realize there's no escape. They will not allow you to cancel the card and will continue to charge exponential amounts of interest indefinitely. Making minimal payments will literally never allow you to pay it off. You'll be paying into the balance forever. This is a fact. Making bulk payments is the only way to pay off the debt but unless you make those bulk payments in quick succession, the interest charges will re-accumulate what you just paid off and you'll be right back at **********. This company does not deserve to be in business. I recognize that lines of credit will always be interest bearing, but this is excessive. When the terms won't allow you pay off the balance unless you pay off the entire balance in full, all at once, it's a scam. This should be illegal and I hate them for this.

I ran into a situation where I needed to make a large purchase & really didnt know who I could call to help me. I applied for a loan on Upgrade & was approved in minutes with a fair interest rate (lower than my credit cards). Received the money in a little over 24 hours. I actually recommended them to a ************ was approved as well!

Upgrade withdrew funds from my savings account without my authorization. I had explicitly opted for funds to be debited from my checking account. Consequently, I incurred insufficient funds charges on three separate occasions. I did not authorize any withdrawals from my savings account, yet I was charged interest fees by Upgrade.

Upgrade offers a very simple, easy and fast process to apply and receive a response quickly. If approved, the money is literally in your account in 1-2 business days. They offer the convenience of changing your due date if you find that it no longer works for you. They have an excellent, user-friendly site where you can check your payments and balance. Overall I would definitely recommend Upgrade to my family and friends.

I made a payment to my Upgrade account which cleared my bank 12-16-24 and as of 12-21-24 has not been credited to my Upgrade account. I was told by customer service that it would not post until the earliest 12-26.Terrible.

The process was extremely easy and fast. Many options given to fit my needs.
