              05/23/2024 I submitted a complaint to Asana because I had signed up for their advance plan, which has a two person minimum. I was charged for 5 people. The website says unlimited assignees, the way it is written, implies I can assign an unlimited number of emails to tasks, but it appears Asana charges you for every single email you assign to a task. This means instead of paying $60 (for two users, the minimum) I was charged $152 a month for four months. Overcharged me by $368.None of the emails added use asana or have even logged in. I just use them as a placeholder. I also can't reduce the number of seats on the plan. The marketing is predatory and unclear. They refuse to refund me. I had to cancel my plan to stop the charges as customer service is just a bot. Even in the emails, they just link you to "resources" and do not answer questions.

              I'd rather collaborate with my team via fax than use Asana... Where to begin...? How about the fact Asana cost me THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS after I hired one of their incompetent "certified pros" and then proceeded to gaslight me for 6 months, claiming he set up a perfect system? At one point during the tortuous experience emailing back and forth for months, they offered compensation (I think... they're not very bright and like to talk in riddles) and then WITHDREW IT because the guy who offered it left the company. Switching my whole business workflow over to another company has been a hassle but more than worth it - just to avoid paying Asana (a company who makes millions but can't compensate a loyal customer a cent) any more money. Sheesh.
