This company is selling gift certificates to our company. They are unauthorized and we will never accept them. This is a complete scam. I want my name removed from this company base.

      Hi ***,

Were so sorry for any frustration or confusion. To confirm, Out of Sight Alpacas has been removed from the Giftly listings. If a Giftly was presented as payment at your business, it was being used by the customer incorrectly.

To clarify, when someone receives a Giftly, they are receiving a monetary gift with a spending suggestion. Giftly pulls listings of local businesses from publicly available directories so gift givers can suggest a business like yours that they love or a business thats local to a faraway recipient.

Giftly recipients are instructed to visit the Giftly website where they select a method to receive their money, which we then send them directly. When a Giftly recipient comes to your business, they pay you the full amount for their purchase using a normal payment method and shouldnt be presenting anything Giftly-related to you.

Nonetheless, we are happy to remove a business that prefers not to be listed and to confirm once again, yours has been removed.

If you have questions or concerns, we can be reached at **********************************.

My retired mother sent my wife an Amazon gift card she saw on ****** which ended up being from giftly.com. When I looked into it, it said that it was an Amazon gift card but the only way to redeem it was to provide my bank information. I investigated it and found that the website has had a long past of fake gift cards. My mothers bank was called to stop payment and to try to protect her account.

      Hi ******,

Were so sorry to hear of the trouble. Were unable to locate an order based on the information provided. May you please contact us directly at ******************************** with order details so we can best assist with a refund? Additionally, the option to cancel an order is available through the purchase receipt. Disputing the charge is not necessary.

To clarify, when you are given a gift through Giftly, you are receiving money with a suggestion for spending. The recipient is to redeem the gift at giftly.com to receive the funds - either on a **** gift card in the mail or directly to a bank account or PayPal account. Once the funds are received from Giftly, the recipient can then use a normal payment method when making a purchase at the suggested merchant (or anywhere else as desired).

Our product is described in several places on our website, including the How It Works page and within the disclosure on the checkout screen. We intend for this to be a convenient and flexible way to receive a gift and do apologize if this was not the case.

Once again, please contact us at ******************************** so we can directly assist.

My daughter gave me $100 Giftly card as a Fathers Day gift. I received an email that I was in receipt $100 gift card from Giftly asking how I would like payment. I selected PayPal. They two days later sent an email saying payment was refused by PayPal and that I need to contact PayPal? PayPal doesnt have record of the Payment? So my daughter was basically scammed for $100. Also, I see so many complaints here about Giftly, yet they have an A+ rating?

I am rejecting this response because:  My account has been verified as of this morning. PayPal has my checking account info, my debit card, and **** card all correctly on file.  I would kindly ask they try sending the payment again.  If this fails then proceed with returning the money to my daughter.  This will be considered resolved when either my daughter or I have received the $100.  Thank you.

I purchased a gift card online from Giftly.com on December 23, 2023 at 12:29:49 AM EST for Brew Belly, a local restaurant. The order number was #QUMUO7XZU. The business address for Giftly listed on the bottom of the online receipt was PO Box 7775 #*************************************-7775 2023 Giftly. All rights reserved. The Giftly Prepaid Gift is issued by Sunrise Banks N.A., **********************, Member FDIC. The gift card recipient went to use the gift card in June 2024 and was told that the gift card wasn't legitimate and that the gift card purchaser had been the victim of a scam. Incredibly embarrassing to give a gift that was completely worthless. The situation can be rectified by providing a refund immediately.

      Hi ******,

Were very sorry to hear of the trouble.

To clarify, Giftly is a bit different from a traditional gift card. As described in a few places on our website, Giftly is a way of sending money with a spending suggestion while allowing the recipient to select how they receive their money. Giftly gifts are not intended to be used directly as payment with the merchant. Recipients open their gift on our website and choose from three redemption options: a physical gift card, bank transfer or PayPal transfer. Once the funds are received from Giftly, they will use a normal payment method when you go to make your desired purchase.

Even though we are outside of the 90-day refund window on your gift, as a courtesy we have cancelled your order for a full refund. Please allow 3-5 business days for your card issuer to post it back to your account.

If you have questions or concerns, we can be reached at ********************************.

      Hi *******,

Were very sorry to hear of the trouble. Our Support team responded to your phone call by email on June 9. Unfortunately, your recipient had missed a step in their redemption process, which is why it was not redeemed successfully. After redeeming, they were sent a link to verify their email address which is a security precaution. This step must be completed within 24 hours or the gift re-sets.

We reached out to your recipient letting them know about the missing step, and to redeem again and ensure they verify their email address by clicking the link. We did not receive a response. As of June 11 they had redeemed again, but again have not verified their email address. We followed up letting them know the step is still missing and to respond back if they would like assistance.

If you would prefer to cancel for a refund, please let us know directly at ********************************.

A friend gave me a ***** card for $100 for ******************* in ********, **. For my knee surgery. Since I could not use it until fully recovered I waited until I could walk better. When I decided to use it, I had to activate the card and was told that I had only $60.44 left on the card. If I read the fine print ( which I did not think they would not honor my friends money) they said because I didnt use it they would deduct money every month! Not sure if its illegal or unethical. Dear Ms. *******

Were so sorry to hear of the trouble with your gift card. Giftly works with a 3rd party card vendor to send physical gift cards to Giftly Gift Recipients.

While Giftly issues no fees, Blackhawk, our partner company that had issued your physical gift card, assesses a monthly maintenance fee after 12 months of non-use. Their inactivity fee policy is located on the back of your card. Additionally, Giftly included this information in the confirmation email you received when redeeming your gift.

Unfortunately, because Blackhawk assesses the fees, were not able to reverse them on our end. Were sorry about that.

If you have any further questions, please dont hesitate to reach out at ********************************.

My son purchased a $100 gift card from Giftly.com, they are a division of a company called perfectgift.com. On their website, Giftly lists ********************* in ************ ********** as a location where their gift card can be used. My husband and I went to that restaurant tonight and tried to redeem the gift card. I had activated the gift card earlier today according to directions. Needless to say the gift card was refused. The restaurant said they have no affiliation with Giftly and Giftly is not authorized to sell gift cards on their behalf. The gift card itself states it is a **** gift card and can be used anywhere however the restaurant was unable to redeem it. Naturally we had to pay the restaurant ourselves and were quite embarrassed by the situation. We believe Giftly is a scam company and we demand a refund of the $100 that my son paid them in good faith.

      Dear ****************,

Were so sorry to hear of the trouble with your gift card. The physical gift card you received is a generic pre-paid gift card that should be able to be used anywhere that accepts **** as payment.

When customers pay with a credit card, some merchants (like restaurants) add a 20% charge authorization on top of the bill assuming they will tip. On a gift card, it can cause the card to be declined if the total amount of the charge authorization exceeds the cards balance. Giftly attempts to alert cardholders to this possible issue by including a note in the confirmation email you received when redeeming.

In checking your transaction history, we can see the card was ran for $154.50 at Buona Vita, which exceeds the $100 available balance and would be the reason for the decline.

Even though the Giftly gift was redeemed as a physical gift card, and we are outside of the 90 day refund window, we will honor your request for a refund. The order has been cancelled and a refund initiated; it should post in about 3-5 business days.

Our Support team is always happy to answer any questions and/or help troubleshoot when were contacted. Please reach out to us at ******************************** with any further concerns.

      Sincerely,
