    I accepted a shift through the Wonolo app on May 5th, 2025 at 8:48 pm. This shift that I signed up for starts on May 6th from 8am to 4:30 pm in ***************, ******** at a ************ station through a third party called Driveline. When I arrived I clocked in on the Wonolo app and then was told to by a ******** employee that the driveline agent was in the middle aisle. I went to this lady named ***** a Driveline agent and she had me sign my name on the paper that shows proof I showed up. There are 2 other men that worked along side of me who had issues with Wonolo s******* up their time and payments so I was awry about this situation because it has never happened to me. That night I went on the Wonolo app to see about my payment which said I would receive it on May 9th this Friday. I had high hopes that I would receive payment on time. I went onto the Wonolo app again this night May 7th 11:23pm to find out it says "No Show". I messaged Wonolo support of this issue and have yet to receive anything back from them. I need to be paid for thd time I worked. I did not show up waisting my gas, my energy for this to happen to me because of someone else's negligence. Now, I have to write a bad review of Wonolo and the third party Driveline for s******* me over like this. I want what I was paid for ****!

    To give context, the Wonolo app is an on-demand staffing app where businesses, called Requestors, can post jobs, and job seekers, we refer to as Wonoloers, can accept jobs. Ms. ******** is considered a Wonoloer.

     Upon checking, ***** Thompsons job was initially not paid because it was not approved based on the info available at that time. However, this has already been addressed after we have received a confirmation of the hours she has completed. Thus, the payment for this has already been processed.

    Yes I use a wonolo gig work app for income and they falsely terminated my account for something I didn't do. They accused me making a false threat over the phone but the police had no evidence against me I was hoping y'all reach out to them to get my account reactivated because I depend on it for income and I can't pay my bills. I keep reaching out to them for appeal but they keep ignoring my emails

    I am rejecting this response because: Y'all or the police don't have any evidence against me that I made the threat over the phone , how I'ma threat to do some harm to someone over the phone I never met? The police didn't follow up with me for no further investigation so therefore the charges were dropped! I appreciate it if y'all reactivate my account instead of permanently banning me about something I was falsely accused on I will appeal this 1 million times until this resolved because y'all put in in a situation where I can't pay my bills either y'all reactivate my account or pay my rent for a whole year??

    This is a discussion to follow up on the continued abuse of the term independent contractor so I have a couple questions for Wonolo:1. Does each employer who use your platform to contract 1099 workers pay a retainer for the shift rate the entire shift rate?2. In the cases where contractors complete assigned tasks early, despite having a paid by hours actually worked is the payment a flat rate (the advertised rate) or is reduced? Also is there a specific hourly rate between employers or does it vary?3. What is the difference between w-2, flat-rate, and 1099 in Wonolos perception?4. Is it true that wonolo, *** hires w2 workers but employs them as 1099 to avoid paying taxes?5. What is the difference between a Wamily and Wonoloer and are Wamily(persons employed by the corporation) salaried? Are some w2? If the same company Wonolo, *** pays both parties, wamily and Wonoloers from the same business how does wonolo decide who will be 1099 and who will be w2?6. Has Wonolo, *** ever paid a payroll tax on any person who is employed as a wamily who is also working on the app as a wonoloer, but on the app is paid as an independent contractor and Wonolo, ***. does not pay payroll tax?7. Does the employers or clients of Wonolo, *** set the date, time, and pay rate for any person working on the app?7a. When a person working on the app selects a shift and is onsite are they required to clock in with a PIN code and take a photo in the ********************** onsite monitor?7b. Are they required to clock out on the onsite monitor using a PIN code and photo?7c. Flat rate jobs, mostly do not require codes and photos, but why is it that if a shift is not worked completely, and even if it does not say paid by hours actually worked (a conflict regardless) but the hours and pay are automatically reduced in the app? Does the client reduce the pay or does wonolo take the money?Please let me know so that I can further understand how to question my payments.

    Upon reviewing our records, we confirmed that ***** reached out to our Support Team regarding his payment issue on December 19th via email. He also received a response from our Support Team on the same date, asking for more details. We are actively monitoring Jamals ticket and job payment for his December 14 job to ensure accurate payment. As of today, we are still waiting for the details of his actual time worked.

    Please note that once he replies to Support, the information still needs to be reviewed and verified by the Requesting party. We encourage ***** to respond and monitor any updates through the case he initially opened.

    On 12/12/24 I was forced to work longer and more than what the job description required. The job said it was flat rate, $85 for 1pm-4:30pm. The job description said, This is last mile delivery - similar to Amazon Flex, with boxes a bit on the large side. You will deliver ***** boxes to ***** different locations.Your "route" will be between 25- 100 miles from the pick up location; delivering to primarily residential areas, with some apartments. Not only did I have to deliver 49 boxes and go to 49 separate locations but I also had to work a hour longer, until 5:30pm. Whats even better, is if I ended my shift at 4:30pm when I had about 35/49 delivered, I wouldnt have gotten paid at all. Tried to resolve the issue over live chat/support but all they did was try to manipulate me into thinking that everything was correct. Something needs to be done about this, will be taking legal action if this problem isnt resolved .

    Since then, weve been monitoring Logans ticket and job payment for December 12 to ensure that he will be paid accurately. As of today, only the advance payment based on the initial posted details has been processed to Logans account.

    Note that the job still needs to be reviewed and approved by the requesting party, and the payment can still be adjusted upon approval. We advised ***** that an update will be shared with him via the case he initially opened, as soon as it becomes available.

    Rest assured that our team will mediate and reach out to the party involved, should there be any payment discrepancy after the job approval.
    We also encourage ***** to use the same ticket he opened with us for any other questions or concerns, so our team can promptly take action.

    This company is portrayed to be accompany that finds positions for temporary or permanent work however, you are unable to see any of the jobs that are listed in your area without signing a W-2 form that also includes giving up your rights to dispute any legal actions of them using your information they will not proceed to provide you with the list of jobs Unless you proceed, however when deactivating my account, they inform me that they will not remove the information that I have included on their website however, I did not sign the agreement to give up my rights. Im not sure if this company is a fraud theyre going by the name; LLC ****************** d/bla Grow2 by Wonolo.I have filed a request to have them remove all of my information from their website and believe that they are fraudulent or scam

    Well I finally was able to land a job through the business ,just right before I was suppose to go to the task they apparently cancel my shift without any explained,so I am not very happy

    To give context, the Wonolo app is an on-demand staffing app where businesses, called Requestors, can post jobs, and job seekers, we refer to as Wonoloers, can accept jobs. ********************** is considered as a Wonoloer.

    When a Wonoloer accepts a job on the Wonolo platform, it initiates the onboarding process for the Wonoloer.

    Upon checking, *************************** job on September 6, 2024 was canceled because his onboarding is not yet complete. The job requires his onboarding process to complete before the job's start time. In his case, his onboarding needs additional identity verification information from him to finish processing. 

    The relevant team that handles this type of concern has sent him a separate communication in order for him to move forward and complete his onboarding on the platform. Due to security reasons, we are unable to upload any additional requirements on Wonoloers behalf, so this needs to be done by the individual themselves.

    Please note that the onboarding process typically take up to 72 hours, but sometimes weeks or longer, to complete once the Wonoloer has submitted the required information.

    We recommend that ************************* responds to the email communication we sent him separately in order to move forward with his concern.

    Cant not do work for Wonolo because they are unethically trying to collect money from me. Im not a w2 employee. I can not legally charged under hours when independent contracting and jobs are accepted under amount.

    To provide context, a job he completed in the past was initially approved with longer work hours than what was actually performed based on the Customers records. This led to the initial payment he received being adjusted to match the correct work hours.

    The job was also posted with ample details to set expectations for Wonoloers that pay will be based on actual hours worked.

    I am rejecting this response because: I said I wanted it deleted not deactivated. And it is an unlawful lame attempt at collection under fraudulent pretenses. I want to be deleted from Wonolo. Not deactivated. They have 3yrs to delete all activity. Or I will be pressing charges against Wonolo for everything. They act like they are the only game in town. Like we in *********** need them. They have 3yrs to do what I said and delete my account. I dont feel comfortable with criminals having any information and thats what Wonolo hired. Criminals.

    Unable to access account via App. After communication via email it was not in a timely manner and could possibly cause a restriction placed on my account where I can't accept any further jobs. **************** is no longer responding and I still cannot access my account.

    I hope all is well. This is *** from Wonolo Support. Sorry to hear about the trouble and I will do my best to help.

    I found ******************************* account and I can confirm that she has full access to the app. She can start accepting posted jobs whenever she is ready.

    It also looks like the last communication we sent out to her was back in November 17, 2023 via ticket ********, where **** from team assisted her in completing her account onboarding. We have not received a response or a new ticket from ********* since then. Her account has also been fully onboarded since November 24, 2023.

    For any login concerns, I recommend the following actions:

    - Make sure to log in using the email address connected to your Wonolo account
    - Perform a password reset 

    When the password reset is performed, she should receive an email with instructions on how to reset her password. It would also be best to check her junk or spam folders if the email is not received within a few minutes ***** the email as not spam, once able). 

    If the login issue will remain after the suggested actions above, we recommend reaching out to our Support team directly via ********************************** with a screenshot of any error or screen she is getting stuck at, and we would be happy to look into the issue further. Our email correspondence is available 24/7.

    On April 17th I requested that Wonolo delete my personal information sense I signed up in 2019 however I have never used the app to obtain work assignments nor received any payments from this app. I have already been victim of Identity Theft before and I am currently taking control of my personal information. This my personal information and I have right to request that information be deleted. This is a violation of The Privacy Act 1974 and I rescind in contracts since I never used their services.
