  I have been harassed, stalked, bullied, and intimidated--in more than 100 unwanted replies to the same post--by a user with username "BuckshotJ" over the past 24 hours; despite that I "blocked" this individual, he is able to view and reply to posts with additional harrassment and bullying that I in no way wish to experience. It appears, thus, that Reddit's "block" functionality is equivalent to "mute," on other platforms, and does nothing to prevent such bullying, harassment, and intimidation. (I had to repost a post directed at a video game's developers multiple times in order to shed the comment section of his comments, but he simply kept coming back with the same behavior and intentional harassment.) This is entirely unacceptable, ****** usership (I won't be back until this problem is fully resolved), and appears legally indefensible.The user in question: https://******************************/user/BuckshotJ/

  I wasn't able to readily/remotely easily find any viable means of contacting Reddit via their website, hence the submission of the BBB complaint.  Furthermore, I wouldn't have expected anything approximating a legitimate response to the questions asked, nor is this a matter that should be relegated strictly to Reddit's private eyes.  *********** evidently provides no means of preventing stalking/harassment on its platform, given that "block user" does not, in fact, block the user (prevent the user from seeing/responding to posts/comments or prevent me from being aware that the user is continuing to do so; effectively, then, "block," on Reddit, is approximate to "mute," on ******* [for example]), and this is something that the public should be aware of--by this means or anything comparable--prior to engaging in activity on Reddit.com.  As indicated, at this time, I see no way to engage in conversation on Reddit.com absent of stalking/harassment/other generalized psychopathy and have no intention to do so.  My advice is to immediately make "block" mean "block"--not "mute." Despite that the user can simply create another account, unless you also implement IP blocking, at least a statement to the effect of "we take this seriously" would be made.  Thank you for your time.

  I believe Reddit is enabling its users to redistribute my copyrighted material. I have sent 15+ DMCA requests to a particular subreddit dedicated to redistributing my content. While the images themselves are removed, the subreddit solely dedicated to this illegal activity as well as the users distributing this content face no penalty. Reddit allowing this subreddit to remain up as well as allowing these users to distribute this material and/or make another account to do so, is directly encouraging this illegal activity to continue. Subreddits referenced:r/gemmawren_r/gemmawren__as well as the users involved.

  In 2018, the site admins banned me by locking me out of my account. When I tried to appeal it, it was briefly unlocked (they claimed itd been locked because of a hack) before almost immediately being locked again because they retroactively decided that I deserve a ban for unspecified rule violations. I asked them for details and never received a response. However, they did not actually ban the account, merely locked it again. As I am not actually banned, and cannot log into the account, I cannot use the ban appeals page to regain access to the account.There is personal information on the account that I want either removed entirely or at the very least no longer attached to the account's name. I also plan to change my email address away from the one currently on that account. I need to delete the account to do that, since not doing so will leave the account "orphaned", but the admins have actively blocked all communications from me requesting they delete the account.

  I am rejecting this response because:

  Your policies and guidelines do not make any mention of the unusual method that was used to ban me (in which I am locked out of my account but the account is not banned).  I was never told why I was banned, and my repeated requests to either delete the account or even just find out what happened to it were not even given a response refusing to act, but simply ignored. I was essentially ghosted by your support team.
  
  
  I will reiterate that until I can delete the account, I cannot transfer off of ***** services. Every day I spend stuck on *****s platforms, new issues arise from me remaining on an older version of OS X. I NEED to make this transfer off of *****, but CANNOT do it so long as this account remains up. The account poses a constant risk to my privacy. If I switch off *****s email services while leaving /u/Soarel2 up and with my ***** email attached to it, the account will be orphaned and I will no longer be able to do anything to delete it. The deletion must be accomplished before I change email services.

  I was banned from the group /funny by your moderators for no apparent reason. I was solely targeted by demographic. Your website promotes hate and ideology. I want my account removed from the ban list as I broke no rules.

  When I used the formal complaint system in your reddit website was muted by your Administrators. I will keep this open until I am unmanned and there is an explanation given on why your mods can circumvent the rules to block my constitutional right to freedom of speech. Blocking constitutional rights is a serious ordeal and you need to look into this.
