1 starAbsolute sham of a company. My husband and I both had 2 appts with PlushCare. It was convenient to have virtual appts but thats where it ended. The billing issues we experienced in just 1 month were extremely stressful. We have BCBS for Feds and have a $35 copay for any appointment. No deductible or coinsurance for appts. At this point 2 of our appts billed correctly for $35 and 2 had major issues. Every appt was for weight loss meds so there was nothing different about the way they should be coded. One appt has a BALANCE owed of $455 and the other an extra $20. The extra $20 they told me is for very fine print you dont see when making an appt outside their business hours of 8-5pm. It never mentions this. The appt was at 7am. Its in the extremely long contract on the website only- again super shady. The $455 is clearly coded wrong - I asked them to open a case but I have zero faith that they know what theyre doing. I canceled our membership. After the issues we had I saw many people saying they charged crazy amounts on their cards with little or no notice so be careful what payment methods you add. I would advise people to be extremely wary of PlushCare. It should be illegal to try to operate and bill this way and I wont be surprised at all if they get shut down. No doctors office keeps your card on file and charges you when THEY make a mistake. Its unreal and just plain scary.Review fromThomas M

1 starI loaded my Aetna health insurance when setting up my account around May 20, 2024. I was billed $169 each for 2 therapy appointments. I was later told that therapy appointments are NOT processed against insurance! And, they are INnetwork with Aetna! This is a highly unusual practice (I am a group benefits broker) in the medical field. Don't fall for this scam! And, their billing department is terrible. I have been told I would receive a refund. There is NO mention on their website of therapy appointments not being processed against insurance. In fact, their website is misleading when it comes to insurance and therapy appiontments.Review fromMarnie S

1 starI had a televisit on 5/31/24 added my issuance card. The next day I saw a weird *********** on my debit card for $112.15. After me figuring out who charged me I sent a message on the app on 6/2/24. No response. By 6/4/24 I sent an additional message no response. So I called in on 6/4 asking the same question I want to know why my credit card was charged for $112.15 when I didnt authorize that I thought the doctors visit would use my insurance card. They told me it was my deductible I responded no my deductible is $40 & I met my deductible. I also asked why I was not informed that I would be charged since I had a FSA card for medical which I would have provided. The girl said again that was my deductible & they would not refund it & charge my FSA. I asked for a manager. The manager got on & told me it was my 20% co pay. To which I responded if $112.15 is the 20% co pay how much was the visit $500 she never told me the actual price. We ended the call with her telling me she would send me a receipt. I was still confused as to why I was charged this price so I called again another girl said they had an estimated price they just charged & when the insurance kicked in they may refund it. I was like that makes no sense what so ever. I then asked about speaking to the doctor again because she ordered labs for me I had completed on Saturday June 1 & received an email for Quest saying my labs were available but she never followed up with me. I was then told they would probably charge me the $112.15 again if I spoke to her. I reached out to my insurance company Aetna the agent said that the price charged was incorrect he called PlushCare & added me in. He told the girl that I should have only been charged $26 since the visit was $225.15. He asked if she could note that in my file so that they know for televisits I only pay 20% & if they are the same price its $26. They still have not refund my money its now 6/11 & they claim I will be refunded in 30 days.Review fromMT C

1 starThe consequences can be dire when a healthcare company prioritizes profits over patients. My six-month ordeal with Plush Medical Billing is a ***** reminder of the pervasive fraud threatening our medical system. The saga began innocently enough. I paid in full for my services upfront, before my appointment. However, a patient advocate inquired about my private insurance status four days after my visit. Despite having already settled my bill, ***** saw an opportunity to exploit this information for their gain.Without my knowledge or consent, ***** submitted a claim to my insurance company, attempting to double-dip and reap additional profits from a service they had already been paid for in full. This brazen act of billing fraud sparked a relentless pursuit by Plush to collect from both my insurance and myself directly.Over the course of 50+ emails, I provided irrefutable proof of my upfront payment, yet Plush continued their pursuit. In a stunning display of audacity, they illegally charged my credit card for the already-paid service, a second time. Fortunately, ******* ***** reversed the fraudulent charge, recognizing the clear exploitation. However, ***** persisted in their double-billing attempts. The unending harassment and fraudulent practices forced me to seek the intervention of the U.S. Attorney General. Only then did ***** allegedly cease their pursuit, but the question remains: for how long? This experience underscores the rotten core of Plush Medical Billing. From the initial fraud to the relentless pursuit of unjust payments, their actions reek of greed and a blatant disregard for patient rights. The fact that the involved doctor was subsequently disbarred is a damning indictment of the entire operation.Patients deserve better. We must shine a light on such fraudulent practices, holding companies like Plush accountable for their actions. Only through collective awareness and legal action can we hope to purge such scams from our healthcare system.Review fromCristy P

1 starThe biggest scam. Says 100 percent money back guarantee and instead of getting that I'm getting emails of an late payment of $******. And the person emailing me has sent a picture of the website saying I accepted the ****** payment to continue and this is not true, he's sharing false information. I went back to the website to make another appointment just to see that, that was not on there and it wasn't. The site misleads you thinking when you select pay with insurance and then it says you owe $30 after they are making you think the 30 is just the co-payment but your insurance took care of the rest. They also state they will file a claim with your insurance but I know for a fact they did not. As my insurance would've covered the whole visit, it covers any and all med appointments. Not to mention my doctor's visit lasted a whole minute! He did not help me at all matter of fact said he couldn't when all I needed were antibiotics. And then he got off the visit he was very rude. So I told them I want my money back because that was just ridiculous. I got no help and was turned away from their doctor and instead of issuing a refund they are saying I'm late for another 130 payment. What about the money back guarantee? I still can't get over the fact that customer support really sent me a false document trying to say that came up on my phone and I checked yes continue I would've never agreed to pay $160 bucks all together.Review fromBethsheba J

5 starsI really like PlushCare. The doctor I chose is fabulous. She takes the time to review everything and I never feel rushed. I like how I can upload my labs, print off or download my orders. It save me so much time from having to drive to an office. I also like that I can document my vitals right on the app. Thank you PlushCare!Review fromDonna M

1 starIncredibly rude and unhelpful. Refused to listen properly, leading to a wrong diagnosis. Prescribed useless medication as to avoid giving a refund (refunds not given when a prescription is made). Also completely ignores refund requests through their own app and email
