    Brought my car in on March 26,2024(Tuesday) to have them diagnose why my 2015 ***** Accord has a rough idle(vibration) while stopped at a red light for example. No check engine lights are on and car runs great. Just that one issue. Told the owner ****** this exact thing I'm writing. I left the car with him. He calls me back within 2 hours and tells me the issue is the motor mounts. My car has 4 motor mounts. He said 2 of the 4 are very bad & a 3rd one not too bad & the 4th is fine.He quoted me $1200 for the 3 to replace.I'm getting ready to sale this car. This was last issue I wanted to fix. Told him I'd call him back. Was gonna look at other quotes before getting back to him when he calls me back within the hour & quotes me another price, $700 for 2 worst mounts. I went ahead & said fine let's do it. I just want this done asap to sell the car. I pick up car next morning Wednesday March 27th before work at 9am. Paid the $700(have receipts) & off I went. First red light I get to & I feel the same rough idle(vibration) I initially brought the car in for! I was already heading to work so I called him about the issue on my lunch break same day. He said bring it back in when I can. I brought it back to his shop 2 days later on Friday March 29th after work around 3pm. I had my wife meet me there thinking I'm gonna be leaving my car again. Not the case! We inspected the *********** tells me it must be something else then. I told him "well I paid $700 because I was told over the phone that the motor mounts were the issue". ****** along with his mechanic are now telling me that it may be the "throttle body" which of course will only cost more. Again I bring up the $700 I already paid & ****** says " the motor mounts needed to be replaced either way". I was dumbfounded with that response. He specifically said motor mounts were the issue! I left his shop in complete shock having paid $700 & my car still having same issue. Please help. This is a very bad business practice!!
