Im disputing this charged off account because I got scammed , I was sold a Lemon car as a clean title , when I tried returning the vehicle , they did not let me , I turned the vehicle to the Creditor and they marked it down as a repo , sold it at auction to someone else as a clean title , and I was never informed about anything after that , I saw that on my credit Report it was marked as a charge off , I never got any paperwork on it , . I did not receive any documentation when it was reported as a charge off or any of that .I would appreciate your help on taking this charge off of my credit . Thank you

This communication is in response to a consumer complaint received on April 13, 2024, filed by ********* ******** (“Claimant”) regarding the above referenced ID Number. The details of this communication were forwarded to Veros Credit’s Compliance Department where an investigation into this matter was conducted.

In the consumer complaint, Claimant does not specifically bring new information.

With respect to the position that someone else was referred to, the response included a typographical error at the conclusion of the response. All other information stated in the response related to Claimant. It is noteworthy that Claimant has not taken issue with any specific fact stated therein other than stating it is “false” simply because of the typo.

      Customer response

      04/23/2024

The company claims that referring to me with a different name was just a “Typo” , they claim everything else is correct , and they ask for me to provide more information , but I don’t have anything else since I never received any information , at this point they can justify referring to me with a female name of Ms.***** as a simple “typo” but my claims of them having false information  is not justifiable , they did not just misspell my name or anything on their letter they completely changed my name , and with these complaints they , have updated the balance of the closed account with the amount of 5 dollars , I feel like this is just retaliation , all they have is false records and they claim that I never tried to fix anything when I did , but they all of a sudden have no records of it , I also made complaints for Veros Credit with the state attorney’s office and with the Consumer Financial  Protection Bureau all I want is for them to remove this charge off off of my credit and this company wants to continue to lie and use false records against me to get their way . The tactics they use are not lawful in anyway .

On 02/29/2020 My car was involved in a police chase that resulted in the car being totaled, I was not the driver. Veros Credit has put it on my credit as a repossession, which was false! The car was not drivable AT ALL. It needs to be removed from all 3 credit bureaus because the car was not a repossession!

This communication is in response to a consumer complaint received on April 07, 2022 filed by ***************************** regarding the above referenced ID Number. The details of this communication were forwarded to Veros Credits ********************* where an investigation into this matter was conducted.

In the consumer complaint, ******************** claims the company is furnishing inaccurate information to the credit reporting agencies.

According to our records,on March 8, 2019, claimant and ASV ********** entered into a Retail Installment Sales Contract (****) for the purchase of a used 2015 ******* Sonata.  The **** was assigned to Veros Credit (Company), and an account was created reflecting the obligations thereunder.  Under the terms of the ****, Claimant promised and agreed to repay the principal amount financed in the sum of $12,069.99,plus a finance charge expressed as interest at the annual percent rate of 24.49%,as more particularly described in the purchase agreement, in monthly installment of $350.68 over 60 months.

Upon review of ******************* file, the account was in payment default when the accident occurred, and our office had to secure the vehicle after the accident resulting in a lawful repossession. Therefore, a repossession is accurate. As a courtesy, our office will request for the credit reporting agencies to remove the repossession from the customers credit, and we have updated your payment history.  Please allow 3 to 5 business days for your account history to be updated with the credit reporting agencies.

My car was impounded by ********* police department in December 2021. It was put on a 30 day hold. I paid the full amount 1400 to Veros credit in order for my vehicle to get released. That included all towing fees, lot fees and a car payment as well. It wasn't taking by Veros credit for any reason so I don't think it should be noted as a repossession. Especially it going on my credit. With that being said now I was late on my December payment. I believe 120 dollars short. I was supposed to make the payment by January 1 and I did try at ******* December 31st. The payment wouldn't go through since I didn't know my account number and it was being asked by the clerk I did leave as I didn't feel well. (I know you guys don't care) & I actually ended up testing positive for covid. So I went on a five day quarantine. I then made a payment of 520 dollars around 2 pm and it was 100 dollars short which wouldn't be an issue just my miscalculation that I didn't include the 100 dollars. Either way the young man who had informed me that I needed to make a 120 dollar payment said he could give me an extension for the month of January anyways. Therefore i only owe 100 dollars for January. So after the 520dollar payment was made at 2 pm my car was still reposed and towed while I was grocery shopping. My pregnancy and covid made it difficult but I did inform Veros that they'd have the payment by the 7th of January. If I recall I made it actually on the 6th of January. I would appreciate if they'd work something out with me. I need my car I will be having my new born soon. Also since the first payment when I called Veros to ask how I could make the payment I mentioned that I needed my dude date to be moved and they informed me I had make at least 2-3 payments before being able to change my due date. So I mentioned I'd be late due to having rent due at that same time. Act number ******* ****** ****** ****  My name ******* ****** Birth date ******* Last four of social ****

According to our records, Ms. ****** purchased a used 2016 ****** ****** from ******* **** ***** on September 2, 2021. Claimant financed $17,652.03 at the rate of 22.0%, and agreed to repay the principal amount and finance charge beginning on November 1, 2021 with monthly payments in the amount of $492.79. In the purchase agreement, she agreed that she would not expose the vehicle to seizure or involuntary transfer. She further agreed that fi she defaulted, the vehicle can be repossessed.  On November 2, 2021, the Company was informed that the vehicle was impounded and subject to a 30 day hold by law enforcement. The Company repossessed the vehicle on November 3 due to the seizure and to minimize impound storage fees and costs. At the time of repossession claimant was also in payment default. Throughout December, claimant made various payments to reinstate the vehicle and pay for fees advanced. On December 29, claimant was advised that her payments did not total the full amount to constitute a contractual payment that was due for December 1, 2021, and was advised of possible ramifications of payment default. Claimant details that an extension may have been discussed in this conversation. However, an extension is valid only if a signed document is received. There is no record of a returned and signed extension form, so no extension was given.  Between December 29 and January 6, the Company attempted to contact claimant, but was not successful. As a result of claimant’s continued payment default, the account was assigned for repossession a second time. Despite Claimant’s payment, that occurred on the same day as the repossession, did not remedy the entire payment default.  The Company is obligated to report accurate and complete information to the credit reporting agencies.

My son, ***** ********, was making payments for a truck loan to Veros Credit. He passed away on November 15, 2021. I am the executor for his estate and have been trying to get information about his loan. I don't know if its been paid off or what his balance is. The only phone number that I have is *** ********. Sometimes I can get someone to answer it and sometimes they don't. Consistently I am told the system is down and they can't give me information. I have emailed them with a copy of the death certificate and my executor paperwork. I get nothing in response. Meanwhile, his monthly payments continue to stack up.. I would like to at least be able to sell the truck or have them pick it up, depending upon his balance. I don't know where to turn to... If I could get into my son's phone, then I can probably figure out his account number and do it on-line... But I can't and have no way to find this out. Anything you can do would be appreciated. I just want to settle my sons estate
