The devil is in the details. This company has pulled bait and switch with companies in terms of health insurance coverage. My girl had insurance through her company and they opted to go through Sureco for ICHRA. The problems started before the purchase of a policy even took effect. As per her company HR, Sureco would send an offer letter for the company to cover 85% of the lowest Silver plan on the Exchange (Obamacare) for ICHRA reimbursement. The letter that came was giving the lowest cost plan on their marketplace which was an off-exchange policy, not a policy on the exchange. The difference is that their low-ball (extremely poor coverage) plan ensured that they'd profit from the disconnect between the employee and the company. This is because ***** puts the control of the insurance in the employees hands, rather than the company. So there's a disconnect between employee and company by nature. The bait and switch is that Sureco is telling the company one thing while skewering the employee with a low-ball rate. This is potentially skimming across the top by the only way of knowing would be for the employee and HR to compare notes. All I can say is buyer beware. This company does offer insurance, but I'd be very wary of using them for ICHRA and would take a long hard look about just going through a reputable company or the exchange for insurance.
