      21 November 2022 I I authorized $5,661.50 to optima tax relief in exchange for them to help with my *** tax debt.?They told me they would stop all letters coming to me from the **** Help lower what I owed and come to a resolution with me.?It is now May 2024 and they have done absolutely nothing, will not call me back, its impossible to speak to a customer service rep who can actually give me details on my account.I have constant *** letter threatening to garnish my wage.Optima needs to give me a full refund as they have not done a single thing for me in nearly 2 years and refuse to call me back, the management team i call are either in a "meeting" or "on break" every time i call and iv tried to call close to 50 times now. they assure me they will call back but i never get one This case is time sensitive as the *** are trying to garnage my wage which i can not afford and was promised if i paid optima this would not happen

      I was offered a refund of $1000. I accepted the offer and signed an agreement with them. I was promised a check to be mailed to me. Because they did not resolve my problem I had to hire an attorney that specialized in taxes. I explained to them more than once I have a disability. Due to an accident I went through years of medical treatment. I recently contacted them because they did not honor there agreement. Due to treatments I had to focus on my disability. I never received the check which was supposed to be mailed to me in 2020. Because of the nature and extent of my disability and after I was told they were mailing me a check, I could only focus on myself. They lead me to believe the check was in the mail. I seen an ad sent to me and I realized they never sent me a check and I contacted optima about this. I was told they would check into this but they still have not contacted. I agreed to the waiver of liability and they never sent me the check. I just want them to honor the agreement. All they did was file a few tax returns and nothing else that was promised. I will still except $1000 refund, however my next step will be to contact the attorney generals office if they dont honor this fraction of $1000s I paid them. I am hoping they send me the check and this is over. I will resign the waiver if they agree to this offer. Please have them respond!

      All optima did was file two tax years, the way they did it sent a red flag to the **** I can only file my taxes with a pin I receive each year now. I spent approximately 6 grand with this company and they did a few hundred dollars worth of work. Ultimately I had to hire an attorney to take care of what they didnt.

      I was offered and accepted $1000 refunded. It was never sent. Im offering the same terms. A waiver was signed, but the contract was not fulfilled. I never received payment.

      It will take me some time but I can supply documents.

      I have used Optima Tax Relief to fix my issue with the *** , that was a mis calculation that they did and charge me a large amount of money ($42000), I saw on TV an add from optima tax relief saying that they don't get paid until they fix the problem or reduce the Tax amount owed. I have contacted them, they charge me $300 to start and study my case, a couple weeks later they have contacted me and and ask me to pay $7447.50, I assumed that they knew what they were doing and my case has a good chance to see the light like on their advertisement, so I paid that amount. Many months later I was contacted by Optima saying that they have found a solution and have made me a payment plan with the *** thing, that I could have done it easily without getting anybody involved. I demand that they refund me my money that I paid with no result.

      Like I mentioned in my original complaint that I've hired Optima Tax Relief to fix my issue with the **** I have paid them nearly $8000, in which they have done absolutely nothing, by the contrary they've told me that I have to pay the amount owed to the *** in monthly installments, things that I could have done it by myself without hiring any company.  After that, I have hired another company who has fixed my issue with the **** I have ended up owing nothing. Optima Tax Relief have not contacted me, they have respected neither me or your organization. I still demand that they refund me my money and I am ready to go to *********** for that.Thank you very much for your assistance

      Yes I was in some debt to the irs so I hired optima tax relief after paying them over 2000 in fees they did absolutely nothing to help my case and Im not kidding they did nothing but collect money after paying them about three months later I get a certified letter from the irs that there going to start garnishing my wages so I call optima to see whats going on after two days of not getting ahold of anyone I finally get in contact with someone who has no idea who I am or anything about my case she tells me shell have my case manger call me a week goes by no call so I call them to request a refund considering they did nothing for me and now my wages are being garnished I need all the money I can get but of course theyre trying to refuse a refund so let the battle begin to get whats owed to me back please pleas everyone do not use this company

I was forced to setup a payment plan of $2,000 a month for $48 months to get my debt paid. I was promised they could resolve my debt with the *** for just pennies on the dollar according to the ads placed on a very large radio station in the **.

      I paid Optima tax relief $495 on April 4th 2023. A young woman by the name of ******** was assigned to my case. She was supposed to have called me the next day. I never got a call the next day. I waited for her call for a week and a half. I finally reached back out to her and left a message for her to return my call. She did not return my call. I called the main number and spoke with somebody else. They reached out to her and she never replied to them either. So, then they reached out to somebody else to see if they could help me. Nobody there responded back to them. They left a message for them to call me back. They never called me back. I called the next day. It was pretty much a repeat of the day before. Out of exasperation, I told them that I wanted my money back. This was on April 17th 2023. My request was within the allowed time frame to request a refund. That was affirmed. I called back again after that and they read me the notes from my call of the 17th reiterating that I had requested a refund. I called back the next day inquiring about my refund and was finally told that it could take up to two weeks from when I put in the request for it. Well, it is now May 1st 2023 which is almost an entire month after they initially got my money and two weeks after I made my request for a refund. I still have not gotten my money. I tried calling them again today and all of my calls no matter which number I call gets directed to ********. I just want my money back. Btw, I recorded all of my calls with them. And they know that because I told them.

      * In reiteration of my email to *********************************, I was already told on the phone early on that I can expect a refund in something like a week to 10 days or 2 weeks.  I can't specifically recall which one it was.  I did record that phone call, though.

      -Restate your desired resolution

      *A prompt full refund of the money that I paid them.  $495.00.

      -If applicable, please send me any documents that support your rebuttal statement

      *No new documents.  If need be, I can forward to you my back and forth emails between ********************************* and myself.  Please advise.

      I requested Optima Tax for assistance In possibly helping me with a a payment plan to the ************************ for payment. Optima Tax Relief requested a payment in the amount of $2500.00 to assist me with payment plan in my budget. In 2 years I received a total of 4-5 calls from optima tax for signatures only. Any other call or contact was by me for any updates on resolution. No return calls. I decided I would call and request a refund due to unacceptable customer service. I was informed by ******************* this matter would be escalated to the appropriate team. I then received a call from ******************* regarding an agreement for partial refund. I declined the 1st offer. ******************* then called me a couple of hours later with a partial refund I agreed to. She emailed me documentation to sign the the agreement for refund. ******************* agreed once documents were signed. The refunds would be issued to my credit card. Still no refund has been made. *** made several calls to *******************, supervisors , escalation department, unfortunately nobody has responded or answered my calls. My request is that my refund be issued to my account as promised. Thank you for your time and patience with this issue. *******************************

      I have been a client of optima tax relief for over a year now. In the beginning things as far as communication goes, was good. once a contract was signed and money being withdrawn from my account, the communication slowly decreased more and more. For the past 5 to 6 months it has been a nightmare to get into with my case manager (*****************************). Each time her direct extension, I get a customer service representative that continue to try her extention to only tell me they have to submit a request for a call back that would take up to 24 to 48 hours. Needless to say, the call back never happens then when I call back the direct line and extension, i get another customer service rep to try her extension and tell me they have to submit a request that will take now 7 business days. Then out of now where I receive a random email from my case manager saying she has been trying to get in contact with me, which I know isn't true. So, today when I called, knowing I will get the run around, I found out I have a new case manage by the name of ******* (no last name given). I pay a monthly fee to this company and all I have seen is long wait times on the phone (30-40min) just to speak with someone and a run-around with speaking with the proper person in charge of my case. Today I was told this new case manager will contact me in 24 to 48 hours. Something is not right about this situation. Lastly, I was told my account with the *** was in good standing but I am still receiving letters from the *** that there has been another increase in the balance I owe. I was told this would not happen and that i wouldn't receive any letters from the ***

      I pay for a service with this company about my tax debt .but after reading a lot of complaints and bad reviews I decided to cancel the service. The representative ********* was sarcastic.**** and very unprofessional when talking to me .he laugh at me when ask for a refund since I called several times without answer .always transfering the calls with no answer. He assure me refund will be processed on 48 hrs and it's being more than a week. Now they keep unresponsive to my messages. Need a refund of my money asap

      I'm being calling several times to optima tax relief. Every time I'm being transfered to ********** desk and he's not answering my calls. Several times I try to contact the company even by email. With no response. I just need my refund. It's my money and this company it's holding it. With no reason.
