    I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against SeaVees for their failure to respond and process an exchange for my purchase (Order #532000). On November 18th 2023, I purchased two pairs of Bodega Clogs, totaling $116.64. Finding the need for a different size, I initiated an instant exchange for both pairs on December 10th 2023, which was approved by SeaVees. I promptly returned the original pairs as per their instructions but have since received no communication regarding the status of the exchange. Despite my attempts to reach out to SeaVees via email on December 17th and 19th, and a phone call on December 29th, my inquiries have been met with complete silence. This lack of response is not only unprofessional but also leaves me without the products I paid for and without a clear resolution in sight. I had chosen to purchase from SeaVees with the expectation of a standard of service that respects consumer rights and values customer satisfaction. However, this experience has been both frustrating and disappointing, reflecting a significant lapse in customer service and accountability. Given the circumstances, I kindly request the Better Business Bureau to intervene on my behalf to seek a prompt resolution to this matter. I am hopeful that with your assistance, SeaVees will address the issue and provide an update on my exchange request. Enclosed are copies of my purchase receipt, exchange approval, and records of communication attempts with SeaVees for your reference. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your timely response and assistance in resolving this issue.

    Seavees advertises in their Return Policy that **"Return shipping costs for Canadian orders are the responsibility of the customer. Exchanges will be processed upon receipt of the original item. "** but they do not state that this is also true for US customers (which it is apparently), even if your return is within their return criteria: **"Before processing your return, make sure your item(s) meet the following criteria: You made your purchase within the past 30 days. The item you purchased is still in its original condition (unworn, unwashed, unaltered). The item you purchased is still in its original shoebox. (unaltered) The item you purchased is not a Final Sale item Final Sale items are eligible for size exchange or return for web credit. "** It's a small charge of $5, but I wouldn't have purchased from this company had I known that I would be paying for their return shipping costs. When I contacted customer service, they said that they outline this information in a completely separate page, that I would never visit unless I had already returned an item, called **"When can I expect my refund?"** These are shady and unethical tactics that would be easily solved if they simply outlined this in their Return Policy.
