Leased a vehicle from ******* ******* on ****** to ******* I satisfied the terms of the Lease Contract and Returned Vehicle as instructed with no Issue. A few months ago, I started to receive threating phone call from creditors (14 ROCK ***** CAPITAL **** and then *********** PERFORMANCE ************ I Ignored, thinking it was a mistake. My Credit Report NOW reflects unpaid item with the collection company ************ Performance ************ I never received any notice or payment due or outstanding debt from the ******* ******** Always paid on time with no issues. I am now receiving debt owed from a collection company for over ****** The vehicle was returned over 3 years. I need this ******************** claim to be resolved, and the ********** payment owed to be ******* from my credit reportBusiness response

I recieved a bill around ******* from a company named *** collections representing a company named ******************. I have contacted fair with no avail. As of March ******* an account for original creditor ***************** appeared only on experience despite no notification or monthly statents from ********* fair or **** I made *** complaint about **** ***** regarding account with fair a d ***. *** stated *** would no longer contact but january ****** another bill from ***. Fair never sent any letters selling account. *** and ********* ********* files and made up invoices. My account was closed our October **** car returned fair kept deposit fair sold out or filed for bankruptcy 2020 through 2021. So ********* is and investment hedge fund that buys medical and student loan debt. They purchased files now trying to create fake invoices and adding on interest. Which Is ********* illegal and ******* *********** I request fair contact **** ***** to remove item from report and update records. Will be seeking attorney and attorneys General and copy complaints as well. ***** *** ******** ********** from consumer ********** rather ****** sure ********** *** **** ***********Business response

Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/04/11) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) No I want ********** and ***. To remove item from credit reports they posted without my knowledge or authorisation. Fair was paid for car. They write off any losses on 2018 taxes. ********* would not be entitled to any amount due to fact they only acquired active accounts from 2020. I contacted fair they said they cannot comment and have no records. The statement from fair IA coercion on ** ******* behalf. ********** will have to remove from credit report as it does not state fair or exchange on show any payments it shows an invoice I have no record of. Also fair is in violation or debt collection practices that state a company must notify someone a debt has been sold and to whom. My attorney General and cfpb will be looking into this a well legal action taken against fair. I returned car they kept my 250.00 deposit. Also cars could be returned no more bill or reposted. Note the repossesin was done illegally by a company not lic in ************* and with improper notifications to Law enforcement report on file with ***** police. Fair employees states no amount was owed once vehicle returned rom a d ********** are making new false documents to to manipulate fairs files rom still has not produced a contract via registered letter nor anything witj title registration. I recieved a bill for a rental amount which is false because was a lease to own and car could be paid off. Fair wad just taking as many cars as possible. No regard for customers as xhange took more care. Note there was no further bills fr ok m towing Co auction or fair there for ********* nor fair is owed anything. Not sure how fair can confirm a balance as rep I called said he cannot comment because they do not have the fes. So that means eo k creek is not collecting on an accounting standard bit on files . They are trying to scam hard working people. I will seek legal action on *********. Because I never recieved a notification within that would be reported to beareaues. The info is inaccurate only on two beareaues and I can also show no record prior to show removal. Fair confirmed that this should not be on a credit report and never was. Rpm also in violation or fair dcp. Will have complaint made by cfpv. Many people have gone to cfpb and had balances resolved. The *** statements make no sense and trying to collect interest on a rental towing bill. But shows now tow or action company. Bit now bill is a contract deficiency. I am another former **** ******* leasing driver who is being harassed about a debt I do not owe. Since *** titling trust folded and sold their debt to a collection agency now they think they have the freedom to re-write contracts that have closed out and been paid for 2 years ago! It was very clear when I returned the vehicle that it was closed and I had made all my payments. I do not trust the company *** or (receivables performance mgmt) who harass and claim I owe anything. I never had a bill or a past-due bill in the 2 years after returning my vehicle because it had been paid up. Now, everyone who ever leased an uber exchange vehicle is getting harassed by this company. The bookkeeping is terrible and someone has to stop these people. 2 years of never hearing anything (from fair leasing or otherwise) and then receiving a debt collection letter makes no sense. It's predatory and I want this resolved by removing me from their erroneous claim. Please help to resolve this. This company has changed so many hands and it is really unfair.Business response

I do not owe a balance because per the original agreement the would be no termination fees except for the $250 deposit taken at the signing of the contract. I have supplied supporting documentation. I paid all of my weeks and I can prove it with my bank statements! This is the worst treatment because the facts have been ignored. I never received any late payment notices from fair after the car was collected until ****************** bought the debt from Fair ************ leasing and they re-wrote the contract. Many of these drivers have been released from this false debt collection and I will not be paying it because I DO NOT OWE ANYTHING. Please correct the data with ****************** or I will be contacting a lawyer.
