I recently purchased the Ancestry and Health tests, and changed my mind about the purchase for a number of personal reasons. When I contacted their support email address to request the refund, I was relieved at the quick turnaround in all our communications, and within just a few days the refund amount had been reversed and was in my bank account. The entire interaction was honest, thorough, and very personable. I appreciated it very much.************

Don't waste your time and money, they promise 8 weeks result but it's been more than 3 months that Im waiting to hear back for part of my result Advanced timeline!!I emailed them more many times and ask them what is going on with the result. It is so expensive and unreasonable price for just getting a brief template results, while I know other company send weekly report and more descriptions with a cheaper price!

I have paid for DNA test online and cancelled my order within 24 hours. I'm still getting the run around and they haven't refunded me the money. This has been going on for over 2 weeks

CRI Genetics is a scam they keep charging our bank account. I wrote a email to them stating that they didn't fulfill my request which I explained in great detail and information that would help in search. CRI didn't even come close to what I wanted. I asked in an email to cancel my account that I do not need there services. That was about 6 months ago and now they are changing my account again. I have been on the phone with them 4 days in a row and they are still giving me a run around. I just got off of the phone a few minutes ago with them. I told them if I do not see an email with the cancelation and refund or I will be calling the bank to report this as a fraud case. These big companies continue to take advantage of us consumers. I recommend not to use this company unless you like to have headaches !!!!!!!

Please save your money and avoid feeling frustrated and stupid. Please do not spend your money with CRI Genetics, they are a shameful company. I thought I did my research when I chose them, but boy was I wrong. They invest in marketing and a flashy little website/client portal, but from start to "finish" everything else is embarrassingly poor, including the end service provided. They used the cheapest shipping carrier they could possibly find so that it took about 6 weeks to even receive the testing kit, then weeks and weeks from then to get it back to them, all the while excitedly waiting to find out about my genetic history. (Personal note: I don't have any family to ask, so this was a big deal for me.) THEN, when I finally did get access to my "data" over 50% of it is locked unless you pay more money, and any insights are anecdotal at best. Then even worse, certain 'reports' that are supposed to be unlocked show that I can't see them because "results were inconclusive", then when I bring this up to CRI Genetics they claim everything looks perfect on their end and I have to find at least 6 inconclusive results and provide proof (from their own site) in order to get assistance. This is hands down the biggest waste of money I've spent in a very long time. What they're doing should be illegal, and if you do a little deeper research you'll find they in fact have landed themselves in hot water for misrepresentation of reviews and data accuracy. Just please do not spend your hard earned money with this company. Absolutely every human being on the face of this earth deserves better than this.

CRI is a rip off. Don't use it. Slick marketing. They sell you something online, you are billed something that seems reasonable close, and most of what they promised is locked. They do not communicate with you along the process. Zero communication. There results are very questionable. Spend the extra money and have the testing done professionally. After going through this process, it becomes obvious this is a scam. This is a complete re-do for me and my wife.

The basic ancestry results were good. However, I believed, according to their website, that they offered medical genetic analysis. Now I am being told, they do not; but will offer it later, at an additional cost, of course. When I pull up my results, it is only basic info. All other information costs extra. This is not what I thought I was purchasing. Be very careful.

The results I received were completely wrong as per our family history. I confirmed this by getting Ancestry to do my DNA. For half the price I received accurate results matching my family history. Also the health and trait reports were also very inaccurate. Not sure if they mixed sample with someone else? Also a lot of inconclusive results that would require another test! Hmmmm. I followed instructions to the letter. I have reached out to CRI requesting a refund and suggested they compensate me for my additional cost, time and stress Ive incurred. Just a waste of my time and money

I would rate them less if I could. They lost my 2 kits and take no responsibility for the tracking of our kits which were sent back in the pre-packaged self addressed boxes they provided. They do not care that they lost our DNA kits and only offered to send us 2 new ones and to assign them expedited processing but would not offer anything additional for ruining a Christmas present. They have taken no responsibility at all for their failings as a Company. I wish I would have read the better business bureau review prior to using this company. This is a huge waste of money and I am going to try to get a refund since I have not received any of the services I have paid for. I am sure they will have some reason for not refunding my money when I ask.

My personal results are WAY off. Pretty laughable and from other complaints, In not alone. They also have a rather series issue recently with the *** Per ***: "**********-based CRI Genetics, LLC (CRI) will pay a $700,000 civil penalty and will be barred from a wide range of deceptive practices to settle charges from the ************************ and the ********** Attorney General that the company deceived users about the accuracy of its DNA reports." I really want my money back
