I recently discovered that Santa Monica Ford Lincoln is not a member of the Better Business Bureau, (not thats its required) but it does explains their lack of commitment to their customers. I purchased a battery on 12-14-23 at ****** miles and it died on 3-31-24; just 3 1/2 months later at ****** miles. I had already previously found out that Lincolns roadside service is unacceptable when your automobile becomes immobile. Therefore, I called AAA for assistance. They provided valuable information about my damaged battery as well as my need for fluids. He asked me when I last had the car serviced I told him Dec. and I paid them $600.00 for battery and service still unaware of how the fluids are low already, despite my regular visits to the dealer for service and any car issues. Lincoln agreed to replace the battery, but refused to bring the new battery to me citing distance from the dealership. They denied responsibility for any inconvenience caused to me, their customer. They had previously picked the car up for a oil change, but they were unwilling to do the same for replacement of their faulty battery. They claimed the battery was not faulty but had only melted, which I also found concerning. The manager nonchalantly tells me it doesnt happen often but it happens. This is the second time I brought my car in to have this same service done. I had to wait 3 additional hours for the replacement, which further added to my frustration.***** heard the saying Buyer beware with Santa Monica Ford Lincoln, it confirms it. I am eager to move on from any association with Lincoln. I also hope they realize the importance of prioritizing customer service in the future. This incident revealed a lot about Lincolns *****************

After other dealers were extremely misleading and rude, we were so relieved by the experience and efficiency of Santa Monica ************************** We were essentially able to make the deal through phone and text, prior to making the trip to see the car and sign the paperwork. The manager, sales person, and finance personnel were all friendly and a pleasure to work with. No pressure and no bait&switch. Simply honest and true to their word. I would recommend this dealer to friends and family.
