According to smartyplus.net, while shopping on goodmorningamerica.com in August of 2021, I unknowingly accepted a free trial for a smartyplus.net subscription that began charging $19/month in September 2021. I don't remember making a purchase from this website in August 2021 and I don't remember ever having used the credit card (last 4 digits ****) charged outside of a brick and mortar **********, HomeGoods, or TJMaxx store. I called smartyplus.net and they refunded $114 of $342. I admit my fault in not noticing this until now, but I was not aware I enrolled in a subscription service and I have never used the service. I wonder how many other people are being charged unknowingly and have never used their account.Business Response

I noticed a total of 4 transaction starting in August of 2022 and a total of 2 in 2023 all totaling $19.00 each time. There has been also one transaction for $3.00.The total amount that has been charged from our **** has been $117.00.All of these charges have come from Smarty cashback.com We do not know of ever dealing with this company or why we are being charged these amounts.
