  I don't know where to begin I went with Tax Group Center solely because they did have some good ****** reviews in 2018 when this all started back taxes stretching back to **************************************************************** get all my tax information together. My inital fee was $2500 which then grew to another $2500 and then finally I was contacted on for a third time telling me my tax preparation would cost another $2400 I've read some of these other stories and they all kinda match up with my story I never heard from them for almost a year until I left a bad review on ****** and a person by name **** ***** contacted me saying they will make it right well to cut it short my state I lived in garnished my checks taking BIG chunks of my checks finally I received a call from them asking for ANOTHER power of attorney which was done 3 months prior I said your way to late I did this already last time we spoke and my state got their money, I hired you people to protect me and you failed I hung up. Now currently paying for new Attorneys local this time I should have just done this the first time went local instead I payed over$7000 to get scammed from people when all your doing is looking for help and making life right again.

  Came to them with an Audit issue on 3 years of 1120-s... they took care of it over a 3 month term on the audit, then another 12 months on the resolution. Overall, they kept the *** out of my hair the whole time , stopped multiple seizure attempts that could of happened had i not had these guys on speed dial. Now ... it's settled and i can just operate my business and live a good life. High praise.

  I hired the Tax Group to help me with taxes filings (years 2018 and 2019) after inheriting a sum of money after losing my mother. I did not know I filed incorrectly until I received a letter from the *** in Nov of 2020. I contacted the Tax Group Center in Nov of 2020 and entered into a contract with them for years 2018, 2019 and for them to review my upcoming 2020 filing. I submitted all of the documents and previous tax filings to the Tax Group. I was charged almost $8000 for all of this. The Tax Group told me they would review all of my documents, my filings and investigate to make sure they had everything they needed to proceed and to make sure there weren't any additional issues. I hired Tax Group, because I needed help. After months of minimal contact, multiple unanswered phone calls and emails, the Tax Group finally contacted me about a "settlement" in Aug 2021. This settlement came at the same amount I owed, minus the most recent fine of $1500. 8 months and $8000 later plus interest, they saved me $1500. They created a payment plan with the *** and I proceeded to pay for state and federal going forward. Jan of ********************************************** regards to my 2018 taxes. The *** stated that I owed additional money to what was previously discovered in 2018. I contacted the Tax Group since 2018 was reviewed as part of my contract. This is when I was told for the first time, that "things like this happen all the time, the *** can come back and ask for more money after settling". I asked the Tax Group if they would negotiate and put a payment plan in place, since I was on contract for 2018, and I was told I would need to pay an additional $4000 since my case was already "closed". I was on contract for 2018, there should not be additional fees. I refuse to give them anymore money and ended up handling the additional amount/payment plan on my own. I regret giving them any money at all and I should have done all of this myself somehow.

  I had what I considered a simple matter and they took my money and did nothing more than I couldve done by handing it myself. They were extremely rude and unpleasant and continued to repeat the same mantra when I tried to probe further and get some resolution. They never once contacted me to give me updates and if I didnt call them there would have been no contact at all. A complete fraud and waste of **************

  We are opening a customer service investigation. We aim to resolve this complaint with the client. we prefer when client's that have complaints reach out to the customer service department so we can resolve matters such as this in advance of a bad review. This client never did give us that opportunity because CS was never contacted. We will be in touch with the client regarding the investigation in a week to 10 days.   Paid them $4500 to negotiate lower tax owed. Over a year later and zero communication and zero results. E*** does nothing to resolve, and J********** is supposed to be pushing him to get it done and still nothing. No response to phone calls, voicemails, or emails. I just want my money back to work on things on my own. ****** learned.

  The company lied to me about my taxes, Darnell Carpenter said she filed both 2017 and 2018 taxes and all I owed was $6,500. She told me when I get the taxes she was to send me do not send any money because they already took care of it. She later stated to me that the money I gave her was for their services. I paid $600. for two years to be done plus $6,500 equal $7,100. Their customer service investigated and found they found that they owe me $3,820, but do not want to give it to me. They need to tell the loan company they only did half the work so I will not be liable for the entire loan of $6,500 plus I have made about 6 payment of $241. I currently have the Legal Aide Society completing my taxes for 2016 and 2017 where Tax Group Center did not do the taxes at all. The Tax Group Center would not return my calls and they want to give my money to the loan company. I can set up my own payments for what I am liable for. The company lied and cheated me out of my money. I needed my money to live off of because I am now working part-time because I hurt so bad trying to work 8 hour days. I trusted this tax company. I thank God for the group of lawyers that are working on my taxes for me. I don't know how to file a civil suit when they are in another city and state, but I will file in my city and see if they can help me to be able to get the help I need. I have worked to hard in my life and for my money to get ripped off by a company I thought was trust worthy and would help me to resolve my tax problem. The Tax Group Center, Inc. sent me a release and told me to sign it so they can continue to do what they want with my money. How come they can't give me my money like I gave my money to them. It was most definitely under false pretenses that I signed the loan from United Consumer Loan Company. Knowing they owe me money is admission that they did not do the work they needed to and lied to me that they would do. This has been one of the worst experiences of my life.

  My experience with the Tax Group Center was beyond my expectations, they saved me over $25K greatly satisfied with my result. ***** was amazing at staying on top of my case and helping me with any paperwork needed and making the calls necessary to help make the settlement happen. It does take some time to get the settlements to happen, it took my case a little over a year so patience is a must, but do not be discouraged by the long wait, have your paperwork ready and keep your accounts as clear as possible.   A CPA I used for over a decade ruined my life and family. I did not even know the extent of it until I hired Tax Group Center. Took over 9 months to finally straighten it all out. I owe it all to the good people at this company that helped me . If you need tax returns, and have tax debt , and need solutions get in touch with them. Life savers ?

  One reason I gave the tax group 5stars...they did ..   My experience working with Tax Group Center was great. My family was under a great deal of stress with a very large tax debt. I called Tax Group Center and they walked me through the entire process over the phone before I ever hired them. Turns out I used them to amend a few past tax returns that wound up saving me some money. The rest of the case was handled by one of their attorneys and in the end they settled with the *** for way less than I owed. I highly recommend them. You will be in great hands.
