    Ordered a rubber floor liner for my truck. Shipped within a week.
    Doesn't fit and is just loose and sloppy. When I tried to return I was told I be charged a 30% restocking fee. Better to throw it away and warn others.

Upon reviewing your order, we noted that your recent contact with us was to cancel the order after production had already begun, rather than to address a fitment issue. As all our kits are custom-made to order, we had previously informed you about a 30% restocking fee for cancellations.     Terrible company to deal with. I ordered a pair of sun visors, black, nonperforated, no mirror. They say that they're vinyl. Great, simple. They show up after weeks of being ordered, and yea they're black vinyl, but a vinyl record, lines and all. There are NO cars from the 60s or 70s with an interior that matches this garbage, unless it's a boat. And like others, when I call, they have no other materials, and I can return it but at a 30% restocking fee and a loss of the cost of shipping, which I paid for BOTH ways but don't get any of it back. Do not deal with these people.

We also have an advisory on our website that encourages customers to request samples to confirm the material and color they're looking for before placing an order. As all of our products are made to order, a restocking fee applies to returns. This is standard practice within the aftermarket industry.

    So I purchased a headliner, for one of my vehicles, from OC Auto Carpets and they sent me the wrong color. I ordered graphite gray headliner and what I got was a light gray headliner. I then contacted them about the issue and they were certain that what they sent me was the correct color. On their website, it said graphite, not lite graphite, not dark graphite, just graphite. The pictures they provide are a completely different color and really is false advertisement if you think about it. And when I asked to exchange it, they denied me and said it can only be returned and that I have to pay $100 dollars for shipping and a 30% restock fee. I would not recommend buying any headliner from this company.

We shipped a physical sample to you two days ago for direct comparison, so we're a bit confused why you've already left a negative review before receiving it.
    Once you receive the physical sample, please compare it to your order. If it's the wrong color, we'll gladly send a replacement or issue a refund, whichever you prefer. If the sample matches, you may return the item under our standard return policy.

    I ordered a floor liner that didn’t fit. I messaged them with pictures and they said that they could not do anything as the carpet had been altered. I asked why they needed the make and model of the vehicle if they were just going to send me a rectangle piece of material that I could go to a hardware store and get! No response. I would rate them as a 0 and not recommend to anyone!

Just to make sure we're on the same page about what our vinyl mats supposed to look like, allow me to provide some insight as to the differences between OEM and aftermarket kits. OEM vinyl mats are what came in the vehicle originally and are only produced by the original dealership at a much more expensive cost. Aftermarket vinyl mats, like what we sell, are molded to fit the floor pan of the vehicle, but all cuts, holes, and trimming are left up to the installer in order to ensure a perfect fit. Had you contacted us prior to altering the product, we would have been able to assist you.

    I bought all new carpets for my 71 Corvette & paid for 2 day shipping. I was on the phone with someone in the order department on a Wednesday & asked them if I paid for 2 day shipping, would I get it for sure on Friday. They said the carpets are made to order but can be made really quickly & get them out on time. I paid a ridiculous $145 for 2 day shipping because my car was in the shop & they needed to finish installing the carpet, so I could get my car back. They didn't ship it on time & it didn't come until late on Monday. Cust serv said it's my fault I didn't order it earlier & they won't do anything to help. The next issue, is the carpets weren't cut correctly & doesn't fit properly. The passenger side is short ¾" & sticks out under my center console. It looks HORRIBLE on my beautiful interior. They again say it's my fault & they won't do anything about it. Won't even send me the front passenger replacement because holes were cut for the seat bolts. They did say they'd give me $10 off if I paid for a new one. This company is the worst I've ever dealt with & will never get any more business from me or anyone I can tell about they aren't willing to help in any way! Ridiculously frustrating!

    Thank you for your feedback. As mentioned previously, our manufacturer indicated that during installation, the carpet appears to have been pulled too tightly towards the door. This likely occurred when the center console was being re-installed. Unfortunately, because the carpet has been installed, the manufacturer advises that the warranty is now void, and they are unable to offer further assistance in this matter. Had you contacted up prior to installing the product, we would have been able to address any fitment issues.
    Regarding your concerns about the shipping time, I want to clarify the details of your order. It was placed on April 23rd at 1:51 PM EST and production began shortly after at 4:25 PM EST. The manufacturing plant shipped your order the following morning, April 24th, at 8:47 AM EST, demonstrating a quick turnaround as these are made to order products. While our standard two-day shipping typically would have meant arrival on April 26th, Saturday delivery with FedEx is not guaranteed and depends on various factors. Therefore, the arrival on the next business day was consistent with the two-day shipping service purchased.

    So the carpet I ordered looked real nice and the fit was right on. Unfortunately little over a year later carpet is faded a looks horrible! Contacted OC Carpets and sent pics in and they tell me it is a chemical that made it fade and I caused it. This is completely untrue and sucks it only lasted a year in my show truck. I assured them I DID NOT spill anything on it. So if u want the color of your carpet to only last a year then OC is your place but unfortunately for me it’s not worth the money and they will not help me at all!!!!

    I'm sorry to hear you're having color issues with your carpet kit. The manufacturer reviewed the photos you sent and confirmed that the fading appears to be caused by liquid exposure. Auto Custom Carpets has been in business for over 45 years and supplies carpets to approximately 90% of dealers. They are an extremely reputable company; and wouldn't have remained successful for so long if their carpets had inherent issues.

    the occ product that I recieved was not molded well and required excessive cutting to fit. When I tried to return it they told me I was out of luck. its their policy so I want other buyers to be aware

    I am writing to express my disappointment with the quality of the product I recently purchased. For the price paid, I expected a much higher standard. Unfortunately, the product only includes a few molded parts on the carpet and lacks any cutouts, which is quite unsatisfactory.
    Given the poor quality, I believe it would be more cost-effective to purchase outdoor carpeting from a hardware store. I hope you can address these issues and consider offering a refund or replacement.

Just to make sure we're on the same page about what our flooring kits are supposed to look like, allow me to provide some insight as to the differences between OEM and aftermarket flooring kits. OEM flooring kits are what came in the vehicle originally and are only produced by the original dealership at a much more expensive cost. Aftermarket flooring, like what we sell, are molded to fit the floor pan of the vehicle, but all cuts, holes, and trimming are left up to the installer in order to ensure a perfect fit. This is standard in the aftermarket industry. In addition, some details might differ from the original flooring, like the vinyl heel pad or backing. Our manufacturer, Auto Custom Carpets, is the leading manufacturer in the industry here in the United States and they have the highest quality standards in the industry. They have been in the business for over 40 years and get as close to the OEM specifications as possible. We have repeat buyers from auto upholsterers, restoration shops and end users who purchase and install our flooring kits everyday and are very happy with the finished product. Please know that they supply to about 95% of the dealers, so no matter where you order it from, it all comes from the same manufacturer. In addition, I noticed that you went with the standard backing. We do offer a "mass backing" option which is made of EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) which is a rubbery, asphaltic material that is about 1/8" thick and provides a built in heat/sound insulation. It's possible that your original carpet was produced with the "mass backing" since it came out of the factory both ways. Please call us at 855-622-8862 if you need any further assistance.

    It ****, was not molded as was advertised for my 89 golf vw. Just a flat piece of carpet with some padding. And no recourse.

    As discussed during our phone conversation on 12/17, you had voided the warranty once you altered the product. Once again, if you had contacted us prior to installing the product, we would have worked with the manufacturer to determine if you received a defective product. There is an advisory label on the outside of the box that states "Please inspect each carpet set prior to installation. Carpet sets cannot be returned after being cut, trimmed or glued." This information can also be found on our website.
