i bought a 125cc dirtbike from power sports max online. (MAX **** $approx. $549 bike, $299 shipping. the bike came partially assembled as advertised , but one of two muffler bolts were missing, causing disqualification from riding in the once a year event im in this state for. I was so upset about it all, i had to seek medical attention, and was prescribed medicine for emotional distress. When contacting the customer service on their site, i was given a hard time about resolving the problem, and replied to in a rude manner, to the point i dont even want to contact them anymore. bike under warranty and still needs repair. Approx a month and 7 emails later, **** replies with a condescending attitude " Now whats wrong with your bike"? Emails attached show 1. My Order Confirmation from Max **** 2. My emails about getting help replied to a month later, 3. my order number for the replacement part and explanation as to why o should not be responsible to find, and for cost of a mechanic to put the part on.Initial Complaint

I purchased a go kart for my son from Powersports Max. He was riding his go kart and all of a sudden, the back support frame holding the engine dropped. When I went to see what happened, I saw that the frame that holds the engine assembly broke on both sides of the engine frame in the same spots. This caused the rear of the front frame of the go kart to drop in the rear which holds the fuel tank. The fuel tank dropped on top of the engine support denting the bottom part of the fuel tank. Luckily it did not ****** the fuel tank. That could have created a disaster! So, question #1, is there a recall on this go kart for the frame if not, then question #2 is this a covered/warrantable part? There is no listing on my end when looking for this part number online, but there is a part number for the fuel tank. I tried calling your ************ service line, but they said they do not deal with this I would have to email. I emailed them and was told to find a place that can weld this piece. i do not feel comfortable welding this piece as it supports the engine assembly. They way it broke in the same place on both sides tells me there is a problem with this part, possibly even a recall item! I would like a replacement part (engine frame) and fuel tank (due to consequential damage).Initial Complaint

I purchased a 4 ******* for my 7 yr old grandson in December 2024. My grandson rode the 4 ******* and a pipe crack spewing oil and he could not ride the 4 *******. I went on line to search for the maker of the 4 *******. I found out it's the motor. I checked online and found out the maker is *********** out of industry ca. Model # ***atv-40b. Batch # ********. This 4 ******* made August 2023. As I continue to read there is a recall on this 4 *******. I received an email from powersportsmax requesting money for a replacement. I refuse to pay for a motor or anything else from them. The email stated my warranty has ran out. I paid too much for this 4 *******. I purchased an x-pro ranger 125cc for my kids for Christmas. There have been several problems with this item and the company has not been helpful in any way. These problems include non-working brake system, faulty transmission, faulty rear suspension system, faulty ignition, faulty starter, faulty fluid reservoirs, faulty speedometer, faulty step rails, faulty spare tire mount, etc. Moreover, this item is not only riddled with mechanical issues it is also therefore simply unsafe. As it is, my kids have a go-kart that has been effectively non-functional since purchase, and has provided absolutely no more than about 15 hours of drive time since they got it. The latest attempt to get help from the company ended in the company representative hanging up on my wife. We have done due diligence and have acted in good faith. My kids are understandably upset and disappointed and we are at our wits end in trying to work with the company.Initial Complaint

This company sold me a faulty machine. Has been giving me a run around via email I have been arguing for 2 months. Will not provide a customer service number. I have utilized the mechanics they said to. They keep just sending another part after another part . When the mechanic said that it was faulty. We purchase a go- cart and 2 dirt bikes from powersportsmax in Nov 2013. Within the first month the carburetor when out in the go cart. A replacement was sent. Which was not the issue because the cart with no start without starter fluid added. Around March 2024 the safety roll cage snapped off and could not be replaced due to the way the cage was designed. And last August 2024 the gas pedal no longer springs back causing the gas pedal to no longer functional.The can't send repair for this at their cost or reimbursement me for a non-running, non functional and not safe go-cart. This business needs to be shut down and stop taking advantage of people and their crappy machines.Initial Complaint

I reached out to the company for screws for handle bar clamps (that attach to the frame and for a set of black handlebar clamps as I needed the screws for those as well. The screws were cheap material and loosened every time the bike was driven. After tightening them so many times the heads were no longer able to be tightened. I sent pictures of what I needed as well as put in writing my request all via email. I was told to go online and pay for the items. When I received the package the handle bar clamps were scratched up and also the wrong color. I didnt even receive the screws that attach the clamps to the frame. I have reached out several times and asked for a refund. They have ignored that request and I havent gotten my money back. I have sent a picture of what I did receive as well. They refuse to take the part back and refund my money. I have since, went to a local shop and bought what I need. I want my money back. This company is the worst Ive ever dealt with.Initial Complaint

We bought a dirt bike from them on August 2, 2024. It came to us and we put it together and it did not work properly. It was new, but died each time we tried to put on the gas. Took many time to start and the clutch and throttle are way off and dangerous. Will only go fast. This was for my son to ride 2 miles to the community college down the side streets, but my husband can not even control the bike. He rides a motor cycle and is an expert. He also works at the *** as a motor cycle examiner. Our neighbor is a mechanic and said it would cost thousands to fix. We bought it because they said we could return it and they it has a warranty. in February 2024 I put a moped on layaway with this dealership, it was online. In April I paid it and it was shipped to my home. right away it wasn't working, it would start but not stay running. I contacted the dealership and they said the manufacturer was the ones I had to go thru for a return, tho on thier website it states that I can return hassle free up to 5 months or 500 miles. it feels like a scam. the dealership portrayed that I would be having the warranty with them yet they have done absolutely nothing but pass me off to a manufacturer in ***** who sense has also done nothing. I finally had a mechanic diagnose it today and they said that the wire that connects the fuel had a bolt thru it and that was when it was assembled this occurred. He also said the carburetor was dirty and that it needed a tune up, mind you that's exactly what the manufacturer said yet this is supposed to be a new engine. I've been getting the run around from this dealership and thier manufacturer. I requested a refund and they have not even attempted to do that tho it states that they do on thier website. also in the reviews there's the same type of complaint about defective merchandise and getting a run around from dealership. they really need to be put out of business
