My son was referred to 3 speech therapy sessions at ****************** medical centers. I was told it would be covered by medi-cal. I only received 1 speech session and they billed me $643.00. They canceled the other 2 speech sessions. I gave them my medi-cal information and I am not sure why they are billing me. They sent me to collections and my credit score was dropped 98 points. They tried to charge me for something I only agreed to because it was covered by medi-cal. I would like this bill to be covered by medi-cal, which they said they accepted. I would like this error taken off my credit report .

I have filed a dispute in writing on May 9, 2024 regarding charges associated with alleged services rendered on February 28, 2024. I had a scheduled surgery, however it was cancelled and I am still being billed and my dispute has been ignored. I have requested on four occasions an itemized bill of the charges and who to contact if I dispute any of the charges and have yet to receive a response from this business. I keep getting the runaround on numbers to call to request this information as well.

I have a few issues with Dignity health:1) They refused to fix my actual balance owed after i gave proof of payment history 2) They illegally sent me to their internal collections agency when I did not lapse 90 days and the rep who sent me did not offer to put me on a payment plan 3) When I called to put a complaint on the woman referenced in #2 I was told a lie that they could not identify this woman for disciplinary action because they could not listen to recorded calls even though when they call they say "this line is being recorded..."4) I tried escalating the issue to a supervisor to get my account pulled back under dignity health with a payment plan which was what should have been done to begin with but once again dignity health refused to make the issue right and said they would not pull my account even though it was done in error because it was "too soon."5) its been a nightmare dealing with their internal collection agency who refuses to provide proof of anything asked. They lied and said we would settle the account and gave the runaround for an entire month claiming they did not agree to settle and are waiting for dignity health to review the recording but when I call dignity health they say they cant do anything about it. So many illegal things are happening and mistreatment with no one seeking resolution and dignity health telling me to deal with whatever mistakes they make.

Trying to get an itemized bill from this place was like pulling teeth. I was bounced to several different people and finally put in a dispute. IT TOOK A YEAR FOR THEM TO CONTACT ME ABOUT THE DISPUTE. No results, just to tell me $800 had been taken off. Okay? But where's the itemized bill showing what that $800 was for? I paid them a flat $3k and informed the woman in the business office about my refusal of a pregnancy test and asked her to put it back in dispute. That dispute was declined without informing me. Without sending me any information. Without contacting me.They billed me for a Hep C test - which I refused. My doctor at the time told me it was covered by a ****** Okay, but I don't want it. They tested me anyway. They billed me for a Syphilis test - which I also refused. My doctor informed me at the time it was also covered by a ****** Okay, still don't want that! They billed me for a pregnancy test. My tubes are tied, and I was not sexually active at the time. My doctor was informed. No reason for a pregnancy test so I declined.I want an itemized statement with all updates and charges dismissed. I want a human being to call me after 4pm my time because I do not have signal during work hours, Monday - Friday. I will also take a call after 8am on the weekends. I also want any reports to my credit score removed.

On 11/17/2021, I received a routine mammogram. I later received a **** for $323.15. Since day one of the ****, I've been calling the clinic to have my **** adjusted because it was billed incorrectly to my health care insurance. The medical assistance or the doctor entered the incorrect billing code (diagnostic testing) and per my health care insurance provider this is the reason why my health care insurance didn't cover 100% . Per my health care insurance (claims supervisor *****), the correct code that needs to be entered is a "routine" mammogram and that will cover the routine mammogram 100% and adjust the billing to $0 since my insurance covers 100%Today, 4/8/2022, I called again the clinic and according to the medical assistant the billing code for the service offered is entered correctly but it is not . I am exhausted and tired , I've spoken to so many individuals at St. Josephs medical center and no resolution yet. Today, 4/8/2022, I also received a reply to my email from St. Josephs medical center billing disputes and appeals . The email was from Meaghan (PFS Commercial Supervisor for St. ******** Medical center) and according to her, the" ordering physician needs to revise/amend the doctors order to reflect routine diagnosis for the mammogram. " But this is what we have been trying to do for the past month.. Please help. I'm only asking for my **** to be adjustment by reflecting a "routine mammogram" and not "diagnostic testing." And by doing so , the insurance will pay 100% of the service provided to me since it was a routine mammogram. I've attached my **** for account reference. Thank you!!!
