They have to be the worst company ever! In 10 years, they have locked me out of two emails; the last one was a company email. When I called because I couldn't get in, they said sorry, but because we locked you out of the recovery email and you can't figure out the password, there's nothing we can do even if you pay us for premium service.

I have account for over 22 years and I use my email account daily. Tried to log into email as I know both my username and password. Yet, I was asked to verify I was account holder. The verification email does not exist anymore and there is no phone number to verify account. Various helps offered by company do not work. Their solution was for me to scan my drivers license via a link provided otherwise I have no access to my email account. ********************** should be held responsible for this ridiculous inconvenience it has cost me and the numerous customers that are affected with this policy! I know my username and password yet as stated my only alternative according to yahoo is get a new account and lose all my old emails or scan my driver's license! What a trip!

Worst experience ever! My yahoo email is set up under my phones email, I have not had to enter a password in years, my phone has been able to automatically do it. Yesterday I got an error message AUTHENTICATIONFAILED then it asked me to re-enter my password. I created my Yahoo account over 25 years, it has been my main email, all important information is sent to my Yahoo email. I am unable to reset my password because I no longer have access to the recovery email address, the domain for the email site shut down years ago. I dont even remember the phone number I put down, again it was 25 years ago and even if I did remember the number I no longer have access to it. To make matters worst in order to get help from YAHOO I need to pay an premium email fee just to get assistance accessing my emails. I feel so violated. I feel attacked and invaluable. I literally have to pay just to talk to someone. Years of important information, confirmations and communication is now gone.

Lock out of my email. I used the same email for over 15 years with no issues. For the past week I have tried to log on with my password and I get a message system doesn't recognize password answer security question (name of oldest cousin) I don't have an oldest cousin. Yahoo picked this question without my knowledge. Went to the sign in help page followed every step still unable to log on or change password. Call and will not help me without me paying for the service. After reviewing previous comments Yahoo response has been the same on all reviews. They response saying this....... (Support for this users issue is available through our main phone support and it requires a paid subscription. Non-paid support is handled through our online help pages This does not help me in anyway. I believe this is a scam to get the consumer to pay for service that should be free through their help desk. No i am not sign up for another email as mine has all my information i need it like folders, pass codes etc. I want a live person to call me asap without charging me. If this does not get resolved I will file a complaint with the **************************.

WHY DOES YAHOO NEED A "PAID" CUSTOMER SUPPORT, JUST FOR ACCOUNT DETAILS. I'M NOT GIVING OUT MY PERSONAL INFO FOR A SERVICE FEE .. WE ALL NEED TO ACCESS OUR ACCOUNTS, YET YOU TRY TO SCAM US TO GAIN ACCESS. NOT COOL!!YAHOO. DO BETTER

Several issues. The 1st being that when I was unable to access my email account, they forced me to subscribe to their premium service to be able to recover access. I literally had to pay them just to be able to check my email. Now, I'm again trying to access my account so as to connect it with my ********* account, but all ********************** wants to do is spam the absolute h*** out of me with confirmation codes that it ignores and just keeps sending them. This of course resulted in me again being unable to access my account, as they've sent me way, way, way too many codes. I've counted 24 of them in total. And no, I'm not paying them again so I guess it's time to switch to another provider.

The WORST spam/scam filter of any email service! NOTHING is filtered by Yahoo, so you have to individually mark all spam yourself, and spammers keep changing their sender address. My block list got full repeatedly, so I had to switch to blocking domains, instead of individual senders. Still, my inbox gets constant trash and malicious emails. Customer security is obviously not their concern.

My Yahoo! account is linked to my iPhone mail app, and just recently when I tried to check my mail I received the pop-up message "Cannot Get Mail" & "The connection to the server failed". In order to get back in, I would have to re-enter my password. I've had this account for years (over 10) and can't remember the last time I had to enter in my password. I tried to log-in to my account under "Mail Accounts" in Settings on my iPhone (which just sends you to Yahoo's log-in through the web browser), but was not able to enter the correct password. There was another option to re-set my password by using a linked e-mail account, which would be fine if the linked e-mail account was still valid (yes, it's that old) I called their customer support after getting locked out and provided all info (Name, location, DL#, & photo) to verify that I am the account owner. The customer service *** then proceeds to tell me that he can assist with re-setting my password, BUT only if I sign up for a premium service that cost $12 per month. TWELVE DOLLAR MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION to reset my password. There are no words to describe how annoyed I am at this very moment. I'm switching to ****** Mail.

I need to close out my email because YAHOO has merged with AOL; I had an AOL email account in the past and my info was hacked, I do not trust them, therefore i must CLOSE my YAHOO email account but cannot do it. They give the option on the website but it is convoluted and confusing, I was unsuccessful. I have the right to close my account but they fail miserably in allowing a person to EASILY do this, it should not take so much effort and time. I tried to call their number but they charge you for customer service! I won't ever pay them for anything so I am left screwed and at a loss.
