I am sick of making purchases on this website and being forced to store/ save my ****** or credit card information after doing so. I do not want a payment method permanently attached to my account due to potential fraud risk. They do not have an easy method to remove linked payment methods. I have many movies I have purchased over the years and can't easily just stop doing business with them. I want to be able to make a purchase and not lock a payment method. I emailed them to remove my ****** (this situation), and they responded telling me I need to call them. I don't have time to sit on a phone call to deal with this nonsense.Initial Complaint

I've had VUDU account for over a year. In the past they have taken purchases that I paid for without any notice. I have complained to them and they reimburse me one time. I have had to cancel my credit card through them and block them due to the fact that they have fraudulently taking money out of the credit card that I had with them without my permission. In the past month June 2022. Vudu has interrupt my service, with no follow up of explanation, I cannot access my account for hours at a time with no explanation. These are purchases that I made and have been paid for and they withhold those videos. I have called and written many times and complained to various employees with no resolution. They are rude and do not resolve the issues or give any explanations. I've had employees hang up on me with no consequence.Initial Complaint

On 6.5.22, I purchased to buy the movie called Lorenzo's Oil for ****** However, since that day it has not shown up in my library. I would like a full refund. I contacted Vudu Customer Care Team through their website on 6/11, 6/18, 6/22, and 6/26. No representative ever came onlline to chat. I also emailed **************** on 6/11 and 6/22. I have had 5 charges of *** each being charged to me through Vudu. I never received any rental or movie from them. Called customer service and was told I WOULD receive a refund in 48 hours but never did. When I called them back I was told I had to contact **** for the refund even though there was no purchase history through my **** account for Vudu. I called **** and they assured me the refund had to be through Vudu not them. Vudu is still telling me I have to contact **** and that they will not be giving me my money back **** has to. I never made these purchases I have been charged with and have been given the run around on a refund and why it happened.Initial Complaint

I purchased the movie "Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore" on 5/30/22 from Vudu for $26.99. On 5/31/22, I called Vudu to ask if I could return my digital copy for refund or credit added to my account. I had & still have no watched the movie. The woman that I spoke with said that I could have a refund and that she would take the movie off of my account. She took the movie away, but never issued a refund or credit. I messaged a Vudu employee, named *****************, earlier this week through Vudu chat & he told me that someone was going to email me and that we could continue this issue through email. I never received an email. I went back onto Vudu.com and filed the complaint via email, I received an automated email that said they would respond within 72 hours. They never responded. I have been a loyal Vudu costumer and have spent hundreds of dollars, over the years, on their site. I just want the refund that they promised me. I would also settle for a credit or at the very least, the movie I paid for back. I don't feel like I'm asking for too much. I have a reference number from my original phone call on 5/31/22. I purchased the full series of the tv shows "The Mentalist" and "ER". I have only been credited with the the 1st two seasons of both. I have tried to contact vudu five separate times through their website and through live chat. The website gave an automated response asking for 72 hours to respond. No response each time. The live chat just hangs there stating it is trying to find a live representative. Resolution would be to either give me what I purchased, refund my money and take the purchase back, or prove to me that I am incorrect about what I purchased. I have been trying to chat and call in but get no answer. I email and months go by with no reply. I just want to access my Vudu.com account. I normally sign in with my walmart.com login but I am told this isn't accurate yet it works at walmart.com. I have spent a lot of money with vudu.com and now have no access!! I received a coupon code back in 08/2021 to redeem a movie and I ended up getting charged. I have contact Vudu SEVERAL times and continue to be told it will be escalated and I will get a response within 48 hours - it is now 05/24/2022 and when I called today I got the same response. Bought 3 movies tonight. One was *** ********. Got 29% of the way into the movie and could not continue watching it. Movie was not at all what was expected and stopped watching. Contacted support to get refund and to have movie removed from my account. Customer care refused to refund the movie. Have bought 250+ movies thru this service and 3 more tonight. Terrible customer care and do not do right by their customers. Will discontinue use of service in future if this is not corrected. I want a refund of this movie that I have not watched.
