I have had a ************* since 2007. I took great care of this vehicle, and the vehicle only has ***** miles. I never once had had any problems with this vehicle. In October, the check engine light came on. I had someone scan the code which indicated that the thermostat needed replacing. Looking for an auto repair facility, I came across Quality 1 Auto Service **** also know as European Autowerks, located in ********, **********. After making an appointment at this facility, they told me that not only I need to replace the thermostat, but I also needed to replace the intake manifold. I agreed, and for the work, I paid about $2800. After a few weeks of getting the vehicle back from Quality 1 Auto Service ************ Autowerks of Temecula, I noticed, on several occasions, that the vehicle was having performance issues. The vehicle would lose power, and I would need to pull over to the side of the road, and restart the car. I took the vehicle back to Quality 1 Auto Service *** of Temecula, and they told me that they were unable to locate a problem. So, I picked up the vehicle from Quality 1 Auto Service **** after paying them another $135 for diagnostics. While driving the vehicle home from Quality 1 Auto Service **** the vehicle started hesitating at the stop lights, to the point that I thought it would stall. On top of this, the check engine light came on. Now, nearly $3000 later, I have a vehicle that I can no longer safely operate. Once again, I never ever had any problems with this vehicle until I entrusted Quality 1 Auto Service ************ Autowerks of ********.

We take all customer concerns seriously but must respectfully address the inaccuracies in Mr. ****** complaint.
Mr. ****** brought his 2007 ************* to us with a check engine light. After a thorough diagnosis, we identified and replaced the thermostat and intake manifold. These repairs were essential for the vehicles functionality and unrelated to any issues with the transmission. The work was completed professionally, and the vehicle was returned in proper working condition.
Several weeks later, Mr. ****** returned, citing performance issues. Upon inspection, we found trouble codes in the transmission control module, indicating possible internal transmission failure. These issues are entirely separate from the thermostat and intake manifold work performed earlier. We advised Mr. ****** of the findings and recommended further diagnostics to confirm the extent of the problem.
It is important to note that the transmissions internal components are not affected by the thermostat or intake manifold repairs. The vehicle is 16 years old with ****** miles, making it susceptible to mechanical problems common in vehicles of this age.
Regarding his desired resolution, Mr. ****** has not provided documentation from ************* or any other facility substantiating his claim that our work caused additional issues. Without evidence, his request for us to pay ************* is baseless and unwarranted.
We understand Mr. ****** frustration, but the symptoms he describes align with transmission issues unrelated to our previous repairs. We performed the agreed-upon work correctly and are not responsible for the unrelated problems his aging vehicle is now experiencing.
We are willing to review any formal findings from ************* but stand by the integrity of our work.
    Sincerely,
    ***** *******

I have recently had the codes read, and they point to mass airflow censor and/or vacuum leak. These are the very parts that this auto shop worked on. The transmission code was a secondary code, very likely caused by the mass airflow sensor. I will be taking the vehicle to Mercedez Benz. Should they find any problems linked to the work that was performed by A1/******************, I will be following up.

The Owner at the shop did a diagnostic on my Mini to find out where the leak is coming from. They came back and gave me an estimate of 3164.47$ for the work on my car, saying that the leak is from the Rear Main Seal. I accepted the estimate and after one-week i called and they said the axle assembly came apart, while re-assembly and need to be fixed another 350$, I agreed even though they broke it. I called to check on the car again and they said that another service needs to be done. I got upset, as they keep adding more and more services. I told them to just complete the work and let me have my car. We argued on the phone. They said to come pick up the car ASAP. When my wife went to pick up the car with her credit card, they told her ONLY CASH of 3600$ if you want to get your car back. After they argued with my wife, because they do accept credit card but declined it for us to use, when my wife keeps complaining, they called the police and had my wife escorted out of the shop. they told us we have 3 days to pick the car, cash only, or they will charge us additional fee for each day we don’t pick up the car after 3 days. When we came back with the CASH to pick the car, they said to never come back again. We drove the car and realized the oil is still leaking and the engine light was on, the car drove worse than before they served it. We went to Mini dealer of Escondido CA, they charge me 300$ for a diagnostic and said the Rear Main Seal is the cause of the leak. The Quality 1 Auto Service INC., never serviced my Mini correctly and took my money. We know we don’t want to take our car back to Quality 1 Auto Service INC, again for 2 reason; 1) they told us to not come back. 2) I do not trust them of care for them anymore. I would like to request my money back from the Quality 1 Auto Service INC., so I can take it somewhere else to be serviced. Thanks,
