First discovered shortly before my 2014 Open Heart Surgery and ever since, Ive relied on the many interviews and updates posted from leading experts AND the host to stay informed about current thinking and recommendations in the field. The site is very Patient oriented and very practical in its approach. Very helpful for me, almost 10 years later too. Highly recommend. ****************

5 starsIf it was not for HeartValveSurgery.com I would probably have an artificial heart valve now, looking at another surgery in **** years, then open heart surgery again in another 10 years and then again in another ***** years, instead of the procedure for which I am now scheduled which has a good chance of lasting the rest of my life. I found heartvalvesurgery.com right after my diagnosis and spent the next few weeks watching and reading everything on their website. The information is excellent. The videos are superb! They interview all the leading cardiologists, vascular surgeons and cardio-thoracic surgeons in the U.S. The information presented is very pertinent, up to date and understandable to the lay public. The graphics and illustrations are extremely helpful. It was like a 40 to 60 hour crash course in cardiology and cardiac surgery. I feel extremely well educated and informed now. It must have been very difficult to impossible to get all this information before HeartValveSurgery.com. I had watched so many video discussions by my surgeon, that I felt like I knew him before my first visit.The founder also called me directly and gave me encouragement to continue my search when my cardiologist said no one did this procedure the first surgeon I met declined to perform the surgery on me. I knew already that this wasn't true and there were several surgeons in the U.S. who do the procedure on patients with my exact condition. You just could not find this information before HeartValveSurgery.com. My family also watched most of the videos so we could have meaningful discussions about the diagnosis, options, surgeries and possible outcomes. Thank you!!!HeartValveSurgery.com

5 starsI was just diagnosed with accute (rapid onset) severe mitral valve regurgitation. I was petrified! Finding the website for Heart-Valve-Surgery was a godsend! There is so much good information! 5 starsIf you or someone you know has heart issues, this website is essential. This site provides every educational resource possible, but more importantly, it provides a community of people experiencing the same feelings, fears, and recovery triumphs. The site owner has written a book which is excellent " The Patients Guide To Heart Valve Surgery" and I highly recommend this as a resource as well. Through this website I was able to find my surgeon, and it's helpful to know what to expect with my upcoming surgery and each step along the way. I'm so thankful to the site owner for his continued dedication and information that he provides. This is the kind of site that you wish you didn't need to know about :) but if you need it, you will be glad you found it!HeartValveSurgery.com
