Received a voice message last week from the business in question. The caller, *******, who is supposedly assigned to us a sales rep.; had called to ask about our mailer machine with Pitney Bowe. Being that they are not affiliated with Pitney Bowe from what I was told when talking to Pitney Bowe a while back, I would think that they have no real concern as to our mailer besides trying to sell us products associated with it (ink, postage tape, cleaning supplies, sealing solution, etc). I then received another call from ******* the following day saying the same thing and also about an order for products for the mailer, which I never gave consent to send or buy from them, that was to be sent out by the end of the week. I tried calling back the number given from her and her extension to talk about cancelling it and our business relation with them, but the extension does not work and keeps looping to the main menu (also does not mentioned their business name at all).Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2021/10/20) */ Based on our information the customer is not in our system and we never sold or shipped supplies to this customer recently. We believe maybe one of our sales rep tried to contact him to see if he need supplies. The customer didn't provide us with any information regarding shipment or invoice from us. I received calls from an unknown business pretending to be from our Postage Carrier Pitney Bowes. They proceeded to tell me they were going to ship out supplies and we kept expressing how we weren't interested and didn't need any refills at this time and today we received a package in the mail. I called the number on packing slip and spoke to someone by the name of Dena who said she was going to look into the situation. I explained I wanted the box returned and we would not be paying for anything as this was a scam and supplies were sent to us without permission.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2021/09/28) */ US Postage Meter Center received the above customer complaints regarding one incident and appreciates the opportunity to respond. To resolve the issue our escalation team has already decided to issued a UPS call tag to pick up the supplies at our expense. As soon as the customer return the product we will credit and close their account.
