DO NOT BUY FROM THIS VENDOR!!! I don't even know where to start! I should have read the ****** and Yelp reviews before I based my decision on **** alone. I received two JUNK modules, neither of which were "refurbished." ************ is selling cores as "refurbished." An ASE mechanic installed both units (VSA Module for V6 Accord) and the first was corroded and the vehicle did not recognize it and the second (note pic attached with smashed gold-colored terminals - a pic showing the correct way it should look is also attached) was received damaged. They admitted, "we should not have sent that out." Really?! The owner is beyond rude (which I see from many other reviewers here) and talks over me. I requested he send the THIRD module to me via next day air on my ***** account after I had already returned two cores and he sent it *** 2nd-day with afternoon delivery. When I questioned that, he called back the order and refunded my money (probably because it was another junk unit). Told me to "Fu** OFF" on a phone call and then started sending me unsolicited, rude, offensive emails (see pic). Yes, that's actually from Mr. ****** himself! Can you believe it?! He told me to go ahead and put my "sh**" on ****** because no one will read it! STAY AWAY! Have NEVER had a worse experience with a company in my 55 years on earth. NEVER! Pics available on my ****** Review of this TERRIBLE COMPANY!!MODULE REPAIR PRO, INC

************** ordered a refurbished/repaired module from us in our exchange service. He contacted us saying that his mechanic said the module was no good. We sent ************* another module refurbished module under a security deposit, to which his mechanic said again that the module was no good. Despite this being highly unusual for repaired & tested units, we offered to send a third unit if ************* sent us back both of our other units. During this time, ************** began becoming more hostile and making demands such as sending it next day (a shipping service over $90), before we even received the modules back. We still went ahead and shipped it with *** 2nd day air, with only a tracking number as confirmation we would be getting our modules. When we did receive our modules, we saw that the plug in port for both of the modules were damaged, which could only be done from improper installation. When we called ************** to inform him of our findings and give proper installation instructions, he became extremely hostile, rude, and refused to listen. It was clear this module was going to become damaged again and their issue would not be resolved with a third module. We canceled the shipment, and all his money was refunded for all the modules, including shipping.Review fromRicardo M

1 starAbsolutely under no circumstances should you do business with this company. You will be lied to or scammed or BOTH. I sent an abs module to them in 2018 for repair. Came back to me and worked well for a few years. Had the same problem with the module about a year ago so I sent it back for a "warranty repair". I had to pay another $200 because the failure was not covered by the warranty on the work they performed previously. So much for "lifetime warranty". You'll always end up paying again with this company. just because they can tell you whatever they want to. Now it's 2024. I filled out their RMA form and sent the same module back a third time for "warranty repair". They tell me it has a failed processor and it can't be repaired. So I paid the return shipping back. What I received back in the mail is absolutely disgusting. They replaced my module with another defective unit they had at their business. The outer case was dirty and disgusting. The sticker from my old module was peeled off and reattached to this junk module they sent me. You can see there they didn't line the sticker up exactly the same way and how the edge had been peeled up. The numbers on the physical hardware on the underside of the module are completely different than the ones in the picture I took of my original module. Parts of the electronics have visible blue corrosion which mine didn't have. I had my initials engraved on my original module and you can see where they tried to forge my initials and then sanded down the plastic to re-try on another spot. I was literally lied to and scammed out of my module. I contacted them via email and of course they're too embarrassed to reply to me. Even though I'm sure they'll just deny everything. Every bad thing you read about this Company and the owner **** being dishonest is true. If they don't steal from you the first time then it's just a matter of time before they do. There are pictures I posted with proof on yelp. My name is *********************************.Review fromERIC V

5 starsI had a flawless experience with this company! My 09 F150 ABS Module needed repaired and found MRP on ******* after reading all about it, I made the transaction, they promptly sent me an invoice, I boxed it up and shipped to them, they emailed they received it and would take 2-3 days to diagnose and repair. They sent another email later that same day it was repaired and was headed back to me. I received it, reinstalled it on my truck and works like new. All total I was out 11 days. 10 of those were shipping. I will be happy to recommend MRP to anyone. ************Review fromHondatech of H

To all that see this after you have been scammed, please forgive me. I was scammed in 2020 for $150 core charge.
************ is a scam. These guys and gals are crooks. I sent trans module core and they refused to refund. The module was received by them and signed by an employee. Called multiple time and was told by some lady that the owner would process the refund. Called to speak to the owner/mgr and was told that he is not available that she would give him the message and he would call. Guess what? NO call! Called multiple times. Same scenario.
NO call back! Surprise, surprise!
After multiple phone calls and being lied too, I gave up. I spent more time and energy than the $150 loss was worth.
This is how they work. It is their mode of operation. I can show bank draft details showing Module Repair Pro was paid for module and core fee with no refund credit/deposit received.
I hope this helps others avoid the headache.MODULE REPAIR PRO, INC

Hi Ted,
Just checked our records. We do have detailed notes regarding this transaction on file. You purchased a Mazda TCM from us in April of 2020. The order was placed on eBay. That listing is still up today and can be viewed at the following URL: https://www.ebay.com/itm/232409699590
As stated in that listing, and on the paper work included with your module, cores must be returned within 30 days to qualify for deposit refunds. Those are the terms you agreed to when placing the order. We happily extend that period for an extra month in cases where customers need more time to coordinate installation with their mechanics. We did not receive a core from you until 183 days after your purchase. PayPal gives us a maximum duration of 90 days to reverse a transaction and issue a refund. Even if you had made that deadline we would have issued the refund as a courtesy, but that window of time closed 93 days before we received your core. When you contacted us to ask about the refund status, we informed you that it was too late to issue a refund but that we had activated your warranty for your effort and offered to send it back to you. You declined that offer and proceeded to verbally berate our secretary and office manager instead. 72 days after your last phone call on 11-4-20, you decided to open a dispute with PayPal on 1-15-21. They looked into it and swiftly decided the case in our favor. Here is there response in case you forgot what happened:
"Hello, Module Repair Pro, Inc
We've decided the case in your favor
The case was decided in your favor because your buyer filed a case beyond the 180 day deadline for disputes.
If there was a hold on this transaction, it has been removed.
Transaction details
Case ID PP-D-99025996
Buyer's name Ted Leslie"
That was our last interaction with you, on 1-15-21.
Today is 9-19-22.
613 days have passed ***** PayPal made their final decision.
883 days have passed ***** you placed the order on eBay.
I hope this timeline clarifies what went wrong.
Take care and have a blessed day.Ted L

The reply above sounds good... but it is not accurate.
Summary of events:
1. My account was drafted the core charge the same day as the module. There was nothing to reverse, the draft was done. A refund could have been provided anytime by Module Repair Pro (MRP) anytime via Paypal. They can play word games and call it "reverse a transaction" or whatever. Bottom line, my account was drafted and needed a refund issued to get funds back.
2. Nothing was ever mentioned or info received about "we had activated your warranty for your effort". As written, t not clear what this even means. The woman that I spoke to did not provide anything other than she would pass ** a message and someone would call me I never received a phone call, email, nothing!
3. No one ever asked or sent the module back to me. Again, I never received a phone call, email, nothing!
4. I spoke to one woman. I do not know if she was the receptionist or office manager. I did not berate her. I did say, "I do not appreciate being lied to." When I asked, I was never given a name of who I should expect to receive a call from.
5. I have never dealt with fraudulent activities on ebay before. I finally decided to submit a dispute with PayPal since MRP had no intent to refund the core charge even after accepting the core return. Paypal didn't swiftly decide the case in MRPs favor. They simply closed the claim due to age, i.e. past their deadline. Not sure why PayPal would allow a claim to be submitted if it is past their defined time limit but anyway...
6. MRP has little desire to provide core refunds. Core charges simply add to the bottom line. If they really cared, they would have made the phone call that I was told, multiple time, would be made.
Side note - All this began 6 weeks into the covid shutdown. Needless to say, many things were not operating normally including health crisis, quarantine, not to mention auto repairs, shipping, etc.Review fromBrad S

1 starThese folks are very unreliable, and are untruthful. I emailed them and asked the true turnaround on rebuilding the *** from a ****** Tacoma XXXX X.7l 4x4 AT. **** told me 1-2 days after receiving my shipment of *** to them. So, I made purchase and sent them my unit, them receiving it on the 11th of August. They begin making excuses why it is taking so long, after I email and ask them what happened to 2 day turnaround on the 16th. Finally, on the 24th, they supposedly send my ***, however it never leaves the ******** post office. I continue to tell them that the package is not moving several times in the next week. Finally, I ask **** to step in and get me MY *** back. After about a week, **** acknowledges that the vendor will not send them the proper shipping information, and says they will refund my money! Big deal, now I am absent the *** for my truck(about $350 to $750) and the $16 shipping my *** to them. They are a scam when the opportunity for big profit is there. However, did **** kick them off their platform, **** no! **** is a scam waiting to happen. Do not trust these people with anything.
