On the 1st of March my partner hired this company to move her belongings to a new apartment within the same area. I was moving from a different state and was not there for the move. We unpacked our belongings the following week and realized we were missing a tv stand and a box or two from her previous apartment. We contacted the company several days in a row and always told we would have someone follow up. The movers told us that everything was moved and that we received all items. After several exchanges we were contacted by a customer advocate saying they could give us a 50 dollar refund. This doesnt come close to covering the additional out of pocket costs to get another tv stand and to order all new tv and electronic wires to various games and appliances. Not to mention missing cookware. The process was handled very poorly by the company. We had belongings stolen and 50 dollars simply does not cover it. We are asking for a refund of 600 dollars to cover the tv stand and to replace the missing cook ware and electric cords.Business response

Royal Moving and Storage moved my house belongings from ***********, ** to *********. I had over $3000 worth of furniture, personal belongs that were lost and or damage in the move. One of the movers that arrived at my home in ********* stole cash, two credit cards and my drivers license from my purse while unloading in my home. Royal Moving and Storage took no responsibility for this and their insurance on my belongings, I was only paid $265 which is insane.Business response

We are feeling sorry about ******* but it seems the customer filed a claim to the wrong company. There are a bunch of Royal Movings in *****************, and we didn't have a customer named "***************************" ********************** from ********** to ***** in the past couple of years. Could ******* submit her job confirmation number from the company for further review?
