In 2021, I hired S&L to renovate my home, including the addition of a guest bathroom, which involved new plumbing and a complete overhaul. Since the renovation, Ive repeatedly noticed a persistent water smell coming from the guest bathroom. Despite my concerns, S&L sent people to inspect the issue and reassured me that everything was fine.However, when I recently hired a contractor to redo the flooring, they uncovered something alarming. Beneath the flooring in the guest bathroom, directly above the newly installed plumbing, was black mold. This means that my family and I have unknowingly been exposed to hazardous black mold for the past couple of years. As you know, black mold poses serious health risks, and this discovery has been deeply ************** addition to the bathroom issue, S&L also installed floating floors throughout my home. Shortly after, I noticed that the floors were uneven, leading to cracks across multiple rooms. When I brought this to S&Ls attention, they dismissed it as a product issue. However, my current contractor explained that S&L should have leveled the floor with plywood, which they failed to do. This is clearly a case of poor craftsmanship.On August 23rd, I reached out to the owner of S&L to request a repair reimbursement, as I no longer trust them to correct their mistakes. Unfortunately, I have not received any response. This entire experience has been incredibly disappointing, and I feel let down by a company I trusted to work on my home.Business response

I have personally reached out to the customer and we scheduled a meeting Thursday 9/26/2024 in his house .

I bring with me remediate company to check the mold
Tomorrow we will open the floor and fix it although it is not under my warranty
