They promise lower processing fees. example: we used square, and they promised we would pay half what we pay to Square. They dont tell you about an additional processing fee each month. we ended up paying almost $500 more in fees to Paysafe than we would have with square. Their user interface is awful. you cant see what fees you are being charged ever!!! the transactions are always missing from the Dashboard so you cant see those either. The terminal constantly disconnects and reconnects. Dont believe them... stick with well-known companies like Square.Review from Carolyn M

If I could give zero stars, I would. In 2018 I engaged an entirely different company for payment processing. Unbeknownst to me, somehow Paysafe got my account. When I cancelled with my original contractor in 2022, Paysafe continued to take fees from my account. Shame on my for not paying attention. However, they raise my fees from $69 to 79, to 89, to $210 without ever once notifying me. I had to contact Chase to help me block them, but then even Chase didn't know who it was. It took me days to figure out who this was, including a call to Canada, who got me to the right location, in Woodlands, TX. At this point I was finally able to cancel this. Four months later I'm told I'm going to collections--never once did I get a notice. When they turned me over to collections, that group had an entirely different zip code for me (more evidence that they never engaged with me personally). No wonder I was never notified of anything. THIS IS VERY DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES. My next stop is the FTC, Senator, Elizabeth Warren, and the Consumer Protection Bureau.Review from Andys Transport Services L

Paysafe is a typical business today. They will promise you what ever they have to to get your business. Once you sign the paper work they do not keep their word. Nothing they say is true.Paysafe:Group Response

This company has cost me two weeks worth of business. Their online sytem which supports Clover POS systems is impossible to decifer and get through. I've litterally spent hours with PAYSAFE personel trying to order a Mini CLover Device. After numerous attempt and staff that was unwilling to let me speak to a supervisor I have given up. I'll be switching over to Square. Good Day, Paysafe. Paul P.Review from Andre K

My review is the same of those below. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY Initial set up was told the majority of my fees would be at the 1.99% fees. What actually occurred was they charged 1.99 + 2% as a non qualified charges. It was clearly stated at set up how we would be using the account. When I called to find out what the fees were I was on the phone for over 75 minutes with no results. The Sales person could not help me just gave me customer service dept. After 3 days of being a customer I am already cancelling service with the company. I'm anticipating this will not go well either. Scale of 1-10 0Paysafe:Group Response

Thank you for the opportunity to address your concerns. In review of your signed MPA (merchant processing agreement) the rates you were charged are correct. Also, in review of the recorded calls there was no statement of a guarantee your credit card sales would fall in the discount rate fee of 1.99%. We apologize for any misunderstanding, it was found the fees are valid. Thank you, PaysafeReview from Avigayil B

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! We canceled this account 5 years. The charged us $160 for 5 years. Over $9600 they have charged us since we canceled the account. They claim that we never canceled it but we have proof that we did. My next step is to write a google review, facebook review, yelp review and then to top it off, we are going to the Texas Attorney General's office. This hit my credit and made it so I won't be able to buy a house. It lowered my credit score 130 points. We have instructed our lawyer to file a lawsuit to regain our lost money plus damages. Please avoid doing business with this horrible business. There are much better options!Paysafe:Group Response

This company charged my a monthly service when I never used this service. I change the name of the company and the email. I never received the contract and I was never informed about the outrageous fees charged for keeping the service even though I did not used the service. I asked for a refund when a found out I was being charged regardless of the using the service. All I saw on the bank account with “bank card MOTO, disc” no phone number, on explanation of the monthly charge. When a finally found out where the change was coming from, they told me I can’t get a refund that fees. Tuff luck. Paysafe is a multilayers company - Flagship, Swip simple, Paysafe. The provide merchant services I not use this company. It is a total rip off. You can see by the number of complaints this company should be out of business. I would give a Zero rating if I could. 1 is to good. Mike Quijada - Retired Firefighter Havasu Excursions LLC formerly LH excursions for Hero’s LLCPaysafe:Group Response
