    This is a business was to lease me a residence at ************************************************************************ however when I told this ***************************************** her ac unit was not operating she refused to have this correct prior to my move-in.... the application fee was paid on January 27th of $150.00 - she canceled the lease agreement and said she would return the application fee of $150.00 communication exchanged via email / text messages since January 31sth. To date I have not received this refund. She has lied regarding the check being mailed to me, as she states the first mail delivery must have been lost then the second check she indicates was sent by **************** February 15th (to date Feb 24th nothing received) She has not responded to my inquiry of where this refund is! v/r ********************************

    We agreed to refund her $150 application fee and paid $100 for her HOA application fee. The offer to pay these fees was a goodwill gesture and not anything we were obligated to pay. 


    She would not accept Zelle or Venmo, so we mailed her a check. We took a picture of the check prior to mailing it to her. After two weeks, she did not receive the check, so I cancelled the payment with my bank, reissued the check and mailed it to her on 2/16. She successfully deposited the new check.


    Regarding the A/C unit, she provided the name of the A/C person she uses. I called him and he came out the next day to fix it. It was merely an issue of the air filter being installed incorrectly. However, I did pay to have him fully service the A/C unit.
