The owner and *** of tax finders *********************** reached out on numerous occasions. I did not want to engage their services and stopped answering their calls as I have called ID. The *** *********************** took to posting nefarious and incorrect information on review sites in an effort to blackmail me into using his services. He has done this to numerous other business and this is a documented pattern. I want the reviews removed and no further contact. I'll be filing with the State Attorney General as well.Regards,*************************Business Response

Please provide records of phone calls. We do not show several calls. This was never a client and is black mailing me because of a review after calling his offices and being cursed out. See attatched email from him.
I am requesting that you remove any and all reviews and negative information you have published about my company by the end of business today. Just because someone doesnt want to use your services doesnt mean you need to write retaliatory reviews doxing them on-line. I have spoken with several others that you have taken this approach with, and Ill never understand why you think that is a good approach. Some things you have written in reply to your reviews make me at least there is a modicum of empathy in your personality. So Id like us both to get back to our respective businesses and put this unfortunateness behind us. If you are in agreement I will remove my reviews and cease legal action.
Regards,

www.audiolab.comPlease close and remove complaint, it does not meet BBB standards and was never a client of TaxFinders. I will advise ***************** to treat people better on the phone at his business and a review would not have been made. He has already posted a review with Google.
Sincerely

I am rejecting this response because: This is a standard operating procedure for the business owner. He has taken this approach as part of his business operations to solicit his services to others and if you ask him to stop calling, which is your right, he takes to the internet to dox your business. This is something he has repeatedly done and will continue to do, unless he finds there are punitive ramifications of his actions. Please refer to my original complaint and view his ****** reviews of others to confirm this is a pattern of behavior. The business owners belief that he can tell others how to handle aggressive, unsolicited calls, or respond to his incessant ******* is a testament to his lack of regard for others. I have filed a complaint with attorney general of his state an am going to pursue this complaint in every avenue available to me.He furthermore claims this falls outside the purview of the BBB which I vehemently oppose, this is the exact reason the BBB exists and should not be dismissed at his request.
The business owner does not respect your organization as he currently claims that his business is BBB Accredited when he is not, I verified this today and have provided screenshots and reported this to your DC office the day I filed this complaint.
Thank you for your time in this unfortunate matter.
Sincerely,

Tax Finders listed in their review (attached earlier) that they were soliciting me by phone and then we just stopped answering his calls which angered him. I have asked my IT people to get me the call log and I'll send it if we can retrieve it.Initial Complaint

This business uses harassment tactics and bullying to cold called companies. He left a negative review on our business page purely because we declined his business. This is apparently an on going issue with this man's business as many other customers and entities have come forward with similar complaintsBusiness Response

BBB,
I personally wrote a review on this company in regard to the receptionist at this business. This had nothing to do with my company. Rather than address the issue, the owner of this company filed a complaint with no basis on work being performed or any other actions between TaxFinders. This is a poor way of trying to get back at me and my company out of spite.
Thank you for your immediate closure of this complaint as it does not qualify for a complaint with your organization.

I received a call from **** claiming to be looking for my daughter. He says he is looking to help her with her taxes. I contacted my daughter and found out that people like **** are calling and harassing her.I asked **** to remove my name and number from his calling list as well as my daughters. He became heated, annoyed - and said, if she would just pay her taxes this would all end.I proceeded to let him know he had now crossed a line. He hung up To say he has a lack of professionalism gives false hope to him ever having any professional ability. He has violated me on so many levels and I look forward to his alleged BBB A+ accreditation being reconsidered/removed.The mere fact that I feel compelled to invest time in filing this complaint speaks to my commitment in this matter.Business Response

*********** is telling a half of the story, He excluded the parts when he was being verbally abusive, and my comment is true. I did say the calls would stop by people in my industry if the taxes were paid. Read the complaint you will see that I spoke with him for 2 minutes and 45 seconds. This is a long time to stay on the phone when I violated him. This is not a customer, this is not a client, this is a man who believes he is better than the rest. No respect for what we do. This complaint is ridicules. Anyone can complain, and he is just a rude and unprofessional angry man who believes that he knows my business. He does not. IF YOU'RE GOING TO BE VULGER AND RUDE, EXPECT SOMEONE TO REACT. This guy is just one of many out there that think he is better than anyone else. He gets some kind of gratification from "showing me" There is nothing wrong being nice to people and showing a little respect. He did not. If anyone is unprofessional it is Mr ***** Be kind to people, it really isn't that hard.

I am rejecting this response because:He is of course not liking being called out for his behavior. When I asked him to remove my name and number from his calling list he proceeded to make an inappropriate comment, to which I responded, You f'ng crossed a line. He then hung up.
Another company called a few days later, I said the same thing, please remove my name and number from your calling list. To which that person responded with, have a nice day.
Radically different responses. ***************** continues to exaggerate his position. He was not talking with me for as long as he states. I called my daughter with him on hold... Really, this man has no licenses or training in taxes. He is a telemarketer looking to secure business by calling and violating the Do Not Call registry.
His verbal threats to my complaint speak very clearly about his inability to be professional. He proved my comments to be 100% accurate.
What I say is this, bad things (*****************) happen when good people (me) do nothing.
I'm a person who advocates for the underserved, am a community spokesperson and have committed years to helping people be better. ***************** is not someone who is willing to be honest nor own up to his actions. I own mine - and stand tall knowing how all of his attacks are unfounded. He attempted to place adverse comments about me around the Internet - he is not a client nor will he ever be.
At this point, he is welcome to fully retract his false statements. If he can't or won't do that - karma will take care of him...
Sincerely,

Some people have nothing better to do. He is not nor has been a client nor does he know anything about my company and the last 12 years of work. ***********, I am sorry you have nothing better with your time then pick on companies because they call you out on your bad behavior. I have sent an attachment showing how long the conversation lasted. and it shows you are misleading claiming our conversation was not that long. *********** is just one of many out there that feel the world revolves around him. Hopefully he can move on to bother other companies. This guy is a joke.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:***************** continues to prove my case for me. Please take note that his evidence is my evidence. Notice the call just above his incoming call shows where I called my daughter.FACTS:Taxfinders calls me at 5:37I call my daughter at 5:38Basic math 538 - 537 = 1, one minute.I am not clear on what ********************* intent is here. He violated the do not call registry by calling me. When I asked him to remove my name and number and my daughter's name and number from his list he made an inappropriate comment and I responded to him.Again, he is not in the business of collections, he is in a marketing business. These are facts - his rambling is not making any sense.Since this is now promised by the BBB to be publicly listed... I think it is appropriate to continue listing facts of ********************* misbehavior or we can stop here...***************** - be honest, state the facts, not this non-sense, which will be publicly posted by the BBB. I look forward to something that resembles an apology and taking responsibility/accountability. I am not your coach or spiritual advisor (nor sponsor). I am unwavering in my stance and requirement.Something like this would work wonders... For those reading this ***************** took on calling and emailing people in my life spewing anger and hate. A few days later he sent this apology.I'll be here when you are ready to send my apology out.Ed,I just wanted to reach out to you. I understand you sticking up for your friend, I handled this situation wrong. I am sure you and **** are good guys and work just as hard as I do. I do not like being hateful or angry at others. This world has forgot about treating people with respect. It is a side of myself I take accountability for. I hope you accept my apology.God Bless***********************CEO/FounderSincerely,
