called our timeshare company to do a deed back to end timeshare. Within one day received a call from Greenwood Investments LLC, person was *******. He talked to us said he had investors for our timeshare property. We could be paid value of property instead of doing deed back. He also is affiliated with Allied Investment Solutions, person ***********************. We asked to pay closing cost of $5185.58 plus $40 wire transfer fees. we provided closing cost under assumption we were to be reimbursed at closing from investors. We were told no fees so I looked up Greenwood on BBB found to have no rating. Yesterday we received an email asking for fees in the amount of $4866.73 for Clear Certificate to finish up the processing to file deed with new owner. We did not pay this yet. Instead I have tried to contact ******* and ****** to see why we have to pay this fee now. NO response from either of them. I am sure we got scammed. Need help getting our $5185.58 plus $40 fees back. We are veterans living on little income and my husband has health issues so we needed to dispose of timeshare.
