  On October 18, 2023 I accepted a bid from RamJack of Colorado for a two part project. The first part was to improve drainage and install a small footer under a section of the covered porch wall. This was proposed as joining my downspouts into one 25 PVC drain pipe underground to a grate pan. Concrete was then to be installed above that in the area where the downspouts originally drained.The second part of the project was to lift the concrete front porch with polyfoam product as it had sunken and cracked. This is to be done Spring 2025. On November 21, the crew arrived and installed the concrete in the correct location but did not combine or install the underground drain piping. I immediately received an email from the office stating that part 2 of the work had been completed and charged my card. I responded that this was only the first time they had been here and only installed the concrete.The next day, the crew returned and removed the forms and said that the piping wasnt really necessary and that the way the concrete was done was sufficient despite the fact that the concrete ends only 2.5 from my porch and will pool there and on my neighbors sidewalk. He put my downspout beside it and they terminate 4.5 from my porch and directly onto my neighbors sidewalk. This portion of the project was $2869.60 and the only part done per proposal was the section of concrete. I have no way to confirm that the footer had been installed as agreed. I was told that the crew can make field adjustments but the crew did not discuss this with me until they returned to remove the forms. I would not have agreed to move forward with the work this way. An $822.68 deposit for the poly foam product was collected when I paid for of the entire project on October 18. I do not wish to move forward with this project as I have no confidence in the company now and there is no room for error or field adjustments on the porch repair. I expect a full refund of the deposit.

  This has been resolved as the customer stated she was satisfied with the concrete work as of January 20, 2025. She requested a refund of the deposit made for the poly foam portion of the project as she does not wish to move forward with that portion. She has been refunded $822.68 as of 02.28.2025.
