            I paid Dependable and Professional (***************** and Restoration $8,120 on 12/21/2016 for a roof replacement job. D&P completed the job and they stated in the contract that the permits and fees for *************************************** (*****) would be completed and was included in the pricing. D&P never obtained a permit or recieved an inspection by ***** for the job and is not taking responsibility for their mistake. I have the copy of that invoice and the documentation to show this was a valid contract that they agreed to complete. This issue is now causing my house to become unsellable and cost associated is estimated to be tens of thousands of dollars in order for me to fix this issue for a valid roof permit and is prolonging the sale of my house.I have tried to resolve this issue with the owner, but he is refusing to take full responsibility for this issue and cover the cost of this issue. As of 7/26/2022, the owner did open a permit for the reroof, but is refusing to start unless we, the owners of the house, pay for the costs of his failure to ensure a permit was completed when it was required.

            This resident is wrong to enter this complaint. This job was done in 2016 and ran by a Project manager that was no longer with our company.  The roof has no issues has not leaked was inspected by two roofing companies and home inspector

            ****** talked to the lawyer last night and the lawyer advised him to just have the roof inspected by regional. He advised him not to jump to conclusions that there are any issues.  ****** let the lawyer know this job was from 7yrs ago and that a Project Manager that is no longer with us was running this job and never pulled the permit. ****** let the lawyer know that there are no issues with the roof you are just selling the house. It sounds like ******, another roofer and the home inspector went out and checked the roof and there are no visible issues. ****** let the lawyer know he feels there may be some issues with code changes since 2016 and that's what brought up his concerns he expressed to the realtor. I think this email you sent was not really necessary because ****** will be following the lawyers advise and not jump to conclusions just see what the inspector says after the roof inspection and go out and do drip edge prior because he knows that is a code change since 2016.  I would hope that you and your wife
