  Requested a service call for our windows over 2 months ago, I followed up last week and was told they were still working on it and they would follow up with me in a couple of days. Still nothing, tried calling the office, only to be routed to voicemail, no one ever picks up the phone. These are some really expensive windows with built in bottom up blinds, they don't seem to want to honor their warranty or return any calls.

  Every day a Pella commercial is televised speaking about not just how great the windows are but the consultation and great customer service. This may hold true for some but not for all. My experience has been other than that. April 23, 2023, Lowes come and provide a quote for Pella Windows. 24 hours. During that time, I reached out to the various window dealerships in Colorado Springs to include Pella and a few in ******. On May 3, 2023 we were contacted by the Colorado Springs Pella Dealer. I advised him that we received a quote from *****. His comment was he can beat their price and ***** would have to purchase through them. So, I agreed to meet with Pella Dealer. The salesperson arrived on Saturday with his assistant to discuss our purchase. Again, I advised about the Lowes quote along with our deposit to the other dealership. What made Pella attractive was they would be able to supply the entire window and door package for our renovation. During the visit we discussed the purchase and the measurement for the large patio door was done. The Pella representative asked that we forward the Lowes quote to him. We were also told before the order was placed window measurements would be verified, that never happened. Although my husband was very reluctant to go with Pella, we chose Pella. We put down our deposit and I signed the order. It was not until we were in receipt of the order that we realized the size of the windows was incorrect. The Pella representative stated that since were the General Contractor for our renovation it is our responsibility to measure the windows. In all the years I have been doing construction its the responsibility of all tradesmen to include vendors to verify their scope of work, to include measurements, etc. This is not Pellas process as well, consultation, windows measured, windows picked, windows remeasured before the order placed, etc. The Pella process wasnt followed.
