    President's ****** Member with a Pre-Paid reservation. My issues are multi-faceted and plentiful, so here is my summary:(1) Hertz shuttle from the airport drove away as we were approaching the bus with my brother-in-law waiving his arms and shouting. The driver saw him, did not acknowledge and drove off.(2) Upon arrival, we had to wait in a line waiting for cars to be returned, because all they had was a few sedans, none of which was the vehicle type I reserved.(3) While waiting in line, a man wearing a construction vest approached me and tried to get me to follow him. He refused to speak, but kept motioning me to walk off to the side with him. After flat out refusing until he identified himself, he ran off, jumped into an unmarked white utility van with several other guys, and drove off. Horrific security at the lot, and this could have been a huge issue if they targeted someone else.(4) We were given a dirty SUV instead of a ******** or Audi premium sedan as we reserved. They also charged me ~$70 additional dollars for this "upgrade" when I reviewed the printed receipt while leaving the lot. I tried to call and sit on hold, but I decided to address this when I returned the car.(5) Upon returning the car, they refused to refund the additional $70, saying that fees were not included. I am certain the the pre-paid rate I paid included the fees, however there is no way for me to confirm this, as the reservation summary email did not itemize my reservation. They told me that the fees were "estimated" at booking, which is ridiculous.(6) Also while returning the car, we had another rude shuttle driver who walked through me like I wasn't even there while standing on the bus waiting to depart.Hertz replied to this review and asked me to ******** message them. They essentially had me recount what happened again, thanked me for letting them know, and then they proceeded to do absolutely nothing to resolve any of my issues.

    Hertz rental . . . choose another rental company.I used Citi Double Reward points for my Hertz car rental reservation, $44.03 due at time of pick up for fees. When I arrived to pick up my car, the cost was so much more. I did add insurance and was willing to pay that fee which should have brought my rental to ~$125 but was charged for more items that brought the estimated charge to $176.02. Frustrating. After returning home and checking my bank account, my credit card was charged $304.15. I was charge for the full rental (my points NOT applied) and charged for gas because it was not returned with a full tank. I didn't have a full tank when I picked it up! Per emails with Hertz (no calls), they are refusing a refund me because my card was given at the counter as pre-pay and there's nothing, they can do about it. SERIOUSLY? There's always something they can do. They have taken advantage of a customer and someone's money. Shame on them and their reputation. Pre-Rental Vehicle Inspection Form was reviewed with attendant and signed off on upon leaving the lot. Yes, all paperwork was submitted to Hertz and they are refusing to take responsibility.1. Gas tank level 3/8 tank of gas; returned with 1/2 tank of gas 2. Rental car was extremely dirty inside and out. It had not been vacuumed, washed and trash inside car.3. Passenger side mirror did not work.I would like Hertz to be held accountable. And I would like my money back.Angry and out a lot of money.
