This account was opened by my husband soon to be ex husband. I had no knowledge that the account was opened in my name. Now here I am after 2 years of fighting to get this taken off my credit its still not here. Ive called them numerous times and to much avail, no answers have been given. This company has reported a debt that has already fallen off of my credit as a new account that was opened 9 months ago. I'm not paying them a **** thing. They are fraudulent scammers who reported false information to the credit bureaus for a debt I don't owe them. They should be put out of business. Jefferson Capital Systems is a criminal company in my opinion for the following reasons.Challenged debt and proved it was not mine and was never mine. I proved this true and they still fraudulently try to collect from me.When demanding proof they sent paperwork to me that I never signed and also has no handwriting from me on it. I don't know whose it is, but its not ******* this point I understand complaints don't stop criminals from repeatedly attempting to steal from innocent people. At this point since this company has harassed me now for more than 6 years over a debt that was never mine and refusing to accept the ***** I felt I have no other choice left but to file a criminal complaint against them which I am currently in the process of at the time of this review. I would suggest everyone who has been contacted by them to hire an lawyer and take them to court. They lied about me, so who else are they trying to steal from?Review from Caroline A

Took something over 10 years old and trying to act like its new and added to my credit score. They are a scam and make up dates of things they buy to try and get more money if I hear from them again I will see what other reports I can file.Review from James P

Ive never heard of anything response to Jeffersoncapital system , till they sent letter to my mail box to pay them, all I want is have they collection remove from my credit
