I am rejecting this response because:They did contact me and wanted to set up an appointment for this week,  but I informed her that I was out of town. I said next week would be better, she said she would call me back with a time and date and as of today I have not heard back from her. The lack of communication still seems to be an issue.

Monday, November 22, 2021, ****, from Tuff Shed came out to assess the situation of  the shed. He agreed that there was an issue with the flooring and has determined that Tuff Shed will come out and put a sub floor on top of the existing floor.  When asked what kind of time frame we could expect, he said , " a couple of weeks" , I then came back and said, "before the end of the year?" and he said most definetly.  I made a comment that I want this done quickly, since we have been waiting so long to get any response.  **** stated that there was nothing that we had to do on our end, that Tuff Shed would be contacting us to set up a date for them to come do the new floor.  Today is Tuesday, November 23, 2021 and no call today.

When my Tuff Shed was built they did a very sloppy job, had them come out and fix the eyesore of a job. At that time I addressed how the doors did not seal and the shed was for hay and saddles that need to be kept dry. They came out again and he said he brought the wrong doors to replace the warped ones they firstly put on. Then came back several days later saying it was the correct door. Okay, great, but there is still huge gaps in the doors. Rain has come and now my hay is wet! It's not cheap and I trusted Tuff Shed as a name that builds quality structures. It's imperative these doors get replaced or properly sealed. Water is coming in the doors and running right under the hay! Hundreds of dollars in hay!

On Sept 17 2020 we ordered a new shed from TuffShed. we paid over $4,000.00 for it. It was installed in January of 2021. The didn't apply the second coat of paint that we paid up front for. It was cold and raining at the end of the day. So I understood. The job was not first class and we had to call because the second shelf we paid up front for was not installed. Some of the wood around the top was not even close to square or evenly cut. Someone came out several weeks later and installed a obviously water soaked at one time and sun exposed waferboard for the second shelf. The cut the wood on top to be square. It has been exposed to the weather all summer and everytime i called the lady at TuffShed she gave me a different reason why they could not get out to apply the second coat. I have called them on 4 different occasions with no resolution in sight. I just keep getting the run around. Please Help.

We are not sure we can mention his name or not. If we can  "Kyle" was very understanding and did a great job.

On July 12, I purchased a storage building from Tuff Shed out of Lafayette LA and today, Sept 20, I was given a November date for installation. I had the slab poured and ready very soon after paying in full for the building. I sent the measurements and all was good and then contacted about cutting the concrete and this was done. I replied with the photos and all was good to schedule the install Mid August. I received another call that there were issues with the cut that I made and had to redo it. Friday sept 17 Jarvis came out again and measured and I marked. I sent photos and this was finally agreeable. Jarvis stated 6-8 weeks but since I had this order ins since July i would be moved to the front and get it done. Someone would call Friday afternoon to give me a date. I missed the call and left messages and sent emails with no reply. I called and finally got to talk to the scheduler and was given a date for mid-November well before the hurricane excuse they are now using as the dela

We purchased a Tuff Shed in March 2021. After several in-person property assessments and confirmation of installation, they showed up on two separate occasions and declined the installation due to corporate policies. They indicated that the leveling exceeded their limit despite them already approving the installment twice. They left the shed materials in our driveway for a month which caused the materials to mold and take up space. The general manager agreed to a full refund for us and took back the materials. The shed was paid in full and Its been over 60 days with no refund or assistance from Tuff Shed. We demand my full reimbursement via check ASAP. Please assist us with this matter as Tuff Shed is incapable of rectifiying this issues as a rest of their error.

      Business response

      09/22/2021

The District Manager gave the following information:

This customer had ******************** come out to look at a location to place the shed, Tuff Shed produced the shed, scheduled delivery and when the install crew arrived they were informed the shed could not be placed at the original location.

After a period of time the customer decided to move the shed to a different location in the yard, Tuff Shed again went back out to inspect the area and found that where they wanted to put it was in a swail, where the one side of the shed would be on the ground and the opposite side would be what looked to be 2 feet in the air still within our building specs, again scheduled an install crew but once they arrived onsite they leveled and measured the location to discover that in fact the building would be 33 in the air front to back outside our building parameters. Customer was told this and explained they could have pilings put in or a retaining wall but Tuff Shed couldnt build as it is.

Another period of time went by and the customer called to cancel the building and the DM took the call, at no time did he state they were getting a full refund but that we would put in for a refund with ************** and Tuff Shed can produce the paperwork to ************** requesting the refund.

Since Tuff Shed produced the building, made multiple trips to the customer and couldnt build the shed was no fault of Tuff Shed, therefore a re-stocking charge was warranted.

      Complaint: 15853845

I am rejecting this response because: the Tuff Shed installers left the materials in our driveway after the first unsuccessful installment in June when there was no guaranteed return date for second installment attempt. The second team that came to install the shed again in July said that Tuff Shed should never have left the materials here for a month due to the weather and elements causing mold and water damage. The Tuff Shed **** ***** incorrectly measured our installation site. Therefore we should be receiving a full reimbursement of charges. The installation reps called the general manager **** from

our driveway and explained the issue. He said we could be refunded and at no point was there mention of a restocking fee as the error ultimately falls on Tuff Shed. If we do not receive a full refund, we will take legal action and take this matter to court.

      Sincerely,

The District Manager has talked with the original installer crew and was misinformed of some details that went on with the installation. That said, the customer and DM have been in contact and as of this morning the DM has let the customer know the restock fee will be waived and he will be working with ************** to correctly process the refund. The DM apologizes for any miscommunication.

I purchased a barn shed through Tuff Shed on 7/21/21. Got it scheduled for 2 weeks later got an email had to reschedule. Got it rescheduled and again had to reschedule. There was always an issue with the Help or the weather in ******** but we live in Merrillville and the weather was fine here the day they were suppose to come out.August 17th comes and still a no show. I had to call and they show up at 3:00pm and had to leave around 5:00 ( because of mother in hospital ). Surprisingly showed up the next day to finish but never put the second coat of paint on. Scratches from delivery and install. Said they didn't have the paint and will have to come back. Well, they didn't. So in the mean time we realize the shed is not very level and the doors won't stay open and still no paint. Today September 8th they were sppose to fix both issues. I never received a confirmation they are still coming out so I put in a call. No answer, went to voice-mail. Still waiting as I type!!

Date of purchase was 08/2020 for shed which cost $4152.01 Two weeks after the installation of the shed which was November 2020 and 2 weeks later the shingle on the roof were lifting and flapping when it got windy. Since then I have contacted Tuff Shed to come and fix the roofing since its under warranty. After many calls and left messsages -last call was on 08/07/21 and NO One has gotten back to me. This has been very frustrating. All I'm asking is for Tuff Shed to come and repair the roof before and leaking and damages to the inside. Especially after spending over $4100!!!
