I was delivering food for my sister in the apartment she lives in. I was up for 2-3 minutes. I got a boot for parking in a violation zone, which is okay. I had to pay ****** to remove it, which I did nov 21,2022 at 8:31 PM and it still wasnt released. They said it was the wrong zip code but how is that possible when the money was withdrawn. I had to make another payment of ****** nov 21,2022 at 9:32 PM. I want my money refunded for double charging me and my security deposit for the boot! This is theft and no way to get ahold of anybody but will gladly take your money!!

Park It Right does not initiate transactions. Adem initiated each transaction with incorrect information.
Adem has provided screenshots of "Pending" transactions. Pending does not mean approved.
It is the responsibility of the cardholder to enter accurate information.
The transactions that Adem is showing screenshots for are transactions that were declined due to System Unavailability, an Incorrect Address/ Zip Code, and Insufficient funds.

We are not responsible for the cardholder entering incorrect data. We are not responsible for educating the cardholder on how to complete the transaction as we are not aware of the cardholder's details and cannot initiate a transaction. Adem was informed of the reason for the declined transactions at the time through Chat and Email.

The transaction was approved on 11/21/22 at 9:32 PM and Adem was immediately provided the release and return instructions.

As seen from the attached transaction receipts, only one transaction was approved.
No refunds will be issued for declined transactions.

The vehicle was booted correctly and in accordance with the pre-established parking rules.
The violation fine is non-negotiable and will not be refunded.
Allow **** business days, excluding weekends and bank holidays, for the deposit refund to be processed per the terms and conditions.

I am rejecting this response because: You said they are both pending but the approved transaction is pending as well. If it was invalid zip code my bank would of rejected it. But you guys double charged me because you are scammers and illegally taking money. Im okay with the 210 charge but want my deposit back and the other ****** charge because it was duplicated. Again, if it was a wrong zip code it wouldnt be pending, even the approved transaction is pending. Since it was paid by credit and not debit all transactions pend thats common sense. You guys are thieves and this company should be shut down!

I paid to remove a boot on Sept. 1 2022. On Sept. 24 I contacted the company about having not received my deposit for the boot, and it being 3 weeks after the incident. Instead of refunding me the $165, they charged me $165. After bringing this to their attention, they removed that transaction and said they refunded me. I have not received any money from this company and they refuse to refund me the deposit.

I am rejecting this response because:

I have already showed park it right that there was no refund deposited to my account. Their 'receipt' that they have provided is not accurate or formal and can easily be forged. There is still no refund in my account and I have submitted photos of that. This is still robbery and has not been resolved.

My vehicle was booted outside of my residence while displaying a parking pass enabling me to park where I was.The booting occurred at 1am in the darkness of night, because the attendant didnt see the pass hanging from the back of my rearview mirror. The parking pass is propped up on the back of the mirror, the windshield has frit that makes it a bit tough to see through from the outside looking in. I reached out to ParkItRight, sending pictures and videos to prove that although the attendant who booted my car may have missed it, my parking pass is very clearly there. The pictures they responded with as proof of my violation were dark and had glare from the pictures being taken with a flash camera at 1am. I responded with pictures showing the bad angles that the attendant had taken to document my violation (except now clear, and in daylight, with the proper vantage points necessary to see the parking pass). *******************, the President of ParkItRight responded to my emails directly attacking my integrity by telling me I put the pass on after the fact. I most certainly did not. I have lived in this residence for years now and have always had my parking pass hung exactly where it is without issue. Instead of acknowledging the fact that his attendant made a mistake and rectifying the situation, I was essentially told to pay the violation/booting costs and kick rocks, and that they would not respond to any further inquiries of mine into the matter. I feel this is completely unprofessional, unapologetic, unjustified, and most importantly unresolved. This company is extremely pompous, rude, and is purposefully money hustling residents of a nice neighborhood that have done nothing in violation of community standards.

Hello, My name is ******* and I'm dealing with that unlawful company Park It Right! I saw your segment regarding the woman who also dealt with the company to retrieve her vehicle. I fear I'm heading in the same direction. I received a boot on my vehicle on September 3, 2022. Their new system allows you to scan QR codes to make payments and receive the 4-digit code needed to remove the lock. I paid $375.00 to receive my code and remove my lock on September 3 (The payment posted to my account on Sept 4th.). I returned the boot to the designated area of the complex, locked it around the pole as instructed and returned home. Everything was fine until Tuesday night (September 6,2022) when I received messages from this company claiming they never reclaimed the boot and my payment was going to be forfeit. The boot was not at the location at which I was instructed to leave it so it had to have been picked up. Since they cannot find their equipment, they are holding me responsible and threatening to file theft felony charges, placing a lein on my vehicle and other unnecessary findings.I did my part as a citizen to go to the business location address, located on their website of www.parkitright.net of ************************************************************************* and to my surprise, its not their actual office, only a place where they have their mail sent. So their website is misleading claimg they have a physical office. The next step was to file a police report, but ************************ claims its a civil matter!I'm frustrated beyond belief with this company, IF THEY ARE EVEN LEGIT! I have attached pictures of the messages this company has sent me basically saying they'll file charges.I've done everything on my end to clear my name and prove to this horrible company that I do not have their equipment and they need to check with their employees who pick up their towing boots.Everyone should be aware this company is HORRIBLE!

During a random patrol on 9/3/22, the vehicle was observed and documented parked in violation of being Double Parked and was subsequently booted per the pre-established parking rules of ********* Purchase II which we are contracted to enforce on their private property.

It is the responsibility of the owner/resident/guest to know and comply with the pre-established parking rules of ********* Purchase II. Vehicles are required to be parked correctly in one designated parking space in between the painted lines and not impeding or encroaching into another space in any manner. Vehicles that are double-parked are immediately booted without warning.

We are a professional parking enforcement company that observes the violation without bias. If the vehicle has been correctly parked in one space as required then the vehicle would not have been immobilized. Spaces are specifically designed to give every vehicle ample room to safely enter and exit the vehicle/parking space without obstruction.

The vehicle has been immobilized correctly and in accordance with the parking rules of ********* Purchase II.
Everyone is required to follow the same parking rules, process of release, and boot return.

We offer a quick and convenient online payment system that is accessible 24/7 and once payment is approved the unlock and release instructions are provided in the receipt.

Every call received through the Boot Line is responded to with an automated text informing them how to release the boot. ******* called the boot line on 9/7/22 when she wasn't booted and received automated messages in return.

Per the Terms and Conditions of the refund, the boot must be returned within 12 hours to the designated location on the property. The boot/ lock was not at the return location on 9/4. A courtesy notification was sent by text to inform the vehicle owner that the boot was not returned as required and the deposit will be forfeited.

No One instructed ******* to arrive in person anywhere, as the boot return location is located on the property where her vehicle was immobilized. No one has solicited fees outside of her boot violation.

To Date, the boot/ lock has not been returned resulting in the forfeit of the deposit.

I am rejecting this response because: the boot is not in my possession nor is it at the lock location that is in THE OPEN for anyone to take it! I returned the boot to the sign located at the ********* Purchase entry way on 9/3 as the ******* video instructed. As that occurred over a holiday weekend and I was not at that complex for 2 days, it is not my responsibility to verify that no one else tool the boot, OR your company picked it up and failed to report the pick up! Your company IS A JOKE as there should be a more secure method for YOUR COMPANY to pick up your equipment. You all need to find the equipment since its not where I left it, AS INSTRUCTED BY YOUR FLAWED COMPANY! I DO NOT have you boot and WILL NOT pay additional money because you all cannot find YOUR EQUIPMENT!

Around midnight on Thursday Sept. 8th, after just having unloaded the last of my belongings from moving into my new apt., after 5 days of moving & parking in the spot I was in to unload & leave w/out issue, w/out yet having received our parking pass, my wife's *** was booted. After all the ******************* of moving, relieved to be done with it, I come downstairs to find a boot on my wife's ***.****** to find the person who put the boot on & explain the situation, I frantically & furiously searched but found no one, despite having just locked my wife's *** minutes prior to go upstairs & tell her I was headed to our old house to return the keys & get a couple things I forgot out of the garage. When prompted to scan the ** Code, a chat window appeared however no live attendant was immediately responsive, when searching their phone # all I could get was an automated system & a msg to email my inquiries...The human element is completely lost on a business practice such as this. I was simply unloading my families belongings then going to move. My 3 children have school in the morning, we had to pay $375 ($165 deposit to be refunded for returning the boot) + a $210 Fee to immediately remove the boot or risk tow! These prices are price gouging & akin to highway robbery. The fact that I was unable to speak to a person via their app or phone # is an egregious oversight for a company involved in booting people's vehicles. There could be a medical emergency or any # of scenarios, like mine, that warranted someone parking "illegally". A downright **** poor experience with one of the worst types of businesses to exist. Go figure...After 1st & last month's rent, pet deposit, uhaul rental, hiring moving help as my wife is pregnant & moving over the course of 5 days, this extra chefs kiss of a $375 fee was just the icing on our $4.5k+ moving cake! Thanks Park It Right! Update your app, ensure people can reach someone & don't boot people's vehicles immediately!

On 7/21/22, I received a boot on my car. Later I realized that I was parked illegally (I thought that because I had an appointment in the building, I could park in their parking, however this was not the case). So I did deserve a parking violation. Two issues remain:1- it has been 14 business days and I have not received my deposit of $165 back. I emailed asking for this and have not received a response. I placed the boot back where it was supposed to be placed and took a photograph. 2- the company is illegally overcharging. In the *****************, the removal of a boot is legally not allowed to be over $160. They charged me $210. Of course, I did not read the statutes before paying to have it removed as it was an over 90 degree day and I had a small child with me. I have called, emailed, chatted online and texted and absolutely no one at the company will respond to my question as to why they are unlawfully overcharging.

We pay to park at our office building at ****************. I was booted by park it right because I forgot to put my sticker in my car. I had to pay nearly 400 dollars to get the boot off my car. The Company was unreachable by phone. Their only voicemail box was full. The only contact option was through email or text. There was no human being you could physically talk to. When I said I wanted them to release my vehicle because I already pay to park there, they threatened me by reminding me the boot was a courtesy (a 400 dollar courtesy) and then they further threatened to tow me. This is a predatory company. In the ************** it is illegal to charge someone more than $160 dollars for a non consensual boot. This legislation is readily available online. I think the rudeness of the company, the lack of compassion, and the lack of sense are frustrating to me. Forgetting to put a sticker in your car SHOULD NOT cost 400 dollars. That was my food budget, savings, and then some for this month. Is it worth it for this company for people not to eat because they forgot to put a sticker in their window? I guess so.

Park It Right is a professional parking enforcement company that observes a violation without bias.
It is the responsibility of the owner/resident/guest to know and comply with the pre-established parking rules of the property.

During a random patrol on July 6, 2022 at 11:41 AM, the vehicle was observed and documented parked in violation of No Permit and was subsequently immobilized per the parking rules of the property which we are required to enforce.
We take Date/Time/GPS-stamped pictures at the time of the observed violation.

This violator attempted to hang their permit after the vehicle had already been booted and demanded special treatment for their fabrication.

The violator is documented calling at 5:28PM and at 5:30PM. No voicemail was left.
5:33PM to 5:39PM- The violator started a Chat  through our website and was informed of their violation, and process of release.
5:39PM to 6:22PM- The violator was corresponding with a Park It Right agent through text message, again informing of the violation and process of release.
At 5:59PM, the invoice was paid and the boot was released.

Everyone is required to follow the same parking rules and process of release.
Every booted vehicle has immediate access to pay and release the vehicle by simply scanning the ** code on the lock to complete checkout for release and return instructions.

This violator was able to chat with an agent within minutes of finding their vehicle booted.
The violation fee is $210 with a $165 refundable deposit. The violation fee is non-negotiable.
The boot was recovered without incident and the deposit will be refunded within **** business days, excluding weekends and bank holidays.

Park It Right finds it extremely rude that a violator lies about their violation and attempts to get the enforcement company in trouble when the violation is valid.
This violator was aware of the parking rules. Parked in violation by choice then attempted to abrogate the violation by lying.
Violators often think that the parking rules do not apply to them and that lying and screaming the loudest will get them "out of it".
Unfortunately, we deal with this all the time and we are not thwarted by a violator's attempt to defame our company through lies and false information.

The parking rules are pre-established by the private property. We do not make the rules. We document all violations and correspondence and keep meticulous records which can be provided to at any time as evidence.
