      My service stopped working a few months ago. I contacted customer service and followed their useless instructions for resolving the issue to no avail. All I want them to do is deliver the service i already paid in advance for. Can't be that hard.

      Due to unforeseen circumstances I need to cancel my subscription to frndly tv but was informed I couldnt receive refund for remaining months since I was charged for a year. My subscription isnt up til October and I would like a refund for remaining months. I wasnt aware I could have paid by the month, was just automatically charged for year.

      I tried ordering a movie from frndly tv last year I never got it. They charged me for a subscription every month but there were no movies on amazon prime from them. They charged me for nothing. I want all my money back.

      First, I'm sorry that you weren't able to locate the movie you were looking for on Frndly TV. I can confirm that you are being billed via your ****** account. ********************** and the content within our app is in no way affiliated with ************. It looks like you signed up for a free trial on 6/25/2024 via an ************** and at the time of sign up, selected our Basic Monthly plan. Because the account wasn't cancelled, you were charged for that plan on a monthly basis. I can also confirm that the account is now cancelled. You are able to watch Frndly TV through 3/2/2025 and you will not be charged again.

      Although this subscription is for Frndly TV, Amazon is billing you directly and will be able to assist you in a refund. You can contact their team via phone at ************* or by email by visting this site: ***********************************************;

      I subscribed to a monthly plan for 7.99 a month, when it was time to pay for the plan,the numbers were switched to 6.99 a month for a year. The 90$ was taken off my debit card. That's not what I wanted. I want to keep the subscription,but, the monthly payment for 7.99 a month,not ,90$ for yearly. I've tried to reach this company via email,to no avail.       Through my ******** the Frndly app is downloaded. I did not realize that it would be a one click payment option, and charge me for the entire year. Apparently, I was charged in February of 2023, and then again on 11-6-24. I contacted the chat to try and get a refund, since I didn't reinitiate the services. I told them, that I am a ********************************************************************************************************* is if I approved a monthly subscription instead. They refused to give me an explaination as to why they will not refund me, a pro-rated amount (to account for the week the subscription was active). They just kept saying to contact my bank and dispute the charge. No other explainations offered. I asked for a supervisor and the response I got was "a supervisor had eyes on this chat and approves the course of action". This is fraud!!! STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS to avoid having to compromise your credit card since all they do it steal money from people who did not authorize the charges.

      The business charged my card for a yearly subscription without any notice. When I reached out to rectify the situation the employee that I spoke with, ********, refused to let me speak with a supervisor and ended the conversation.

      I have reviewed your chat exchange with our team. I understand that you did not get the resolution you were looking for nor do you feel like you recieved the support you were looking for when you asked to speak with a supervisor. 

      I want to first clarify that our team member told you the truth, we do not have an escalation team within our Customer Experience team and there was no way for them to escalate your conversation to a supervisor. We also do not offer refunds per our Terms of Use: ***************************************************************. The refund you were issued was out of goodwill as we understand the renewal charge took you by surprise. Even if there had been a way for our team member to escalate your request to a supervisor, your refund was in line with what we are able to offer you or any customer in this situation, prorated minus a processing fee.

      In reviewing your chat exchange with our team, I can see that you were unhappy with our decision, but that the conversation was not closed on you. I want to highlight this because although you did not recieve the refund you were looking for, our team is sincerely here to assist in any issue that may occur to the best our our abilities. I have attached a copy of this conversation for visibility. Our team prides ourselves on the level of customer support and communication we are able to provide, even with deliverying a less then desired resolution. 

      As you have been issued a prorated refund minus our processing fee, we will be unable to compensate your further. Because your account has been refunded, your plan was deactivated and you will not be charged again. I am sorry you did not receive the resolution your were looking for today.

      The company is Frndly TV. Not so friendly! They are like a virus. I have tried to cancel for months by they keep taking money from my credit card. I follow their instructions but cant get into my account. I asked for customer service but they want to charge $1 to my credit card to access customer service!!! It says to cancel log into your account at ************************************************************************* NOTHING WORKS! I took a few pictures of their responses. I cant find a customer service phone number. Without getting in my account I dont even know what credit card number they have.

      First thing first, I want to clarify that Frndly TV does not ask for any type of payment when supporting any current or protentional Frndly TV customer. We are happy to answer any and every question any person may have about Frndly TV. Based on the image you provided, it does not look like you were speaking to Frndly TV when asked for $1. You can contact our chat via our Help Center and clicking on the purple chat icon in the bottom right of every page. You can also email us at [email protected] as well!

      I see that you contacted Frndly TV via our chat in March and April to get support cancelling. It looks like you dropped out of both chats before we were able to support you in getting fully cancelled, but that you were able to log into your account! I've included copies of those chats with BBB.

      We are happy to ensure your account gets cancelled and I am happy to refund all charges in the past 90 days. Our team does not create or cancel accounts on behalf of the customer. While we cannot cancel on your behalf, please follow the steps below to cancel your account:

      1) Go to your Frndly TV Settings via a web browser and Sign in (if requested)
      2) Select Manage base plan
      3) On the "What to watch before you leave" screen, select Continue to cancel
      4) Follow the prompts until you see "Your subscription renewal has been successfully canceled" screen, select OK

      Once you have successfully cancelled, you will automatically receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive this email, your account was not cancelled. If you hit any speed bumps please send us an email or chat in and we will ensure this is fully resolved for you. 

      I apologize this process has been difficult to execute. If you have any additional questions please let us know.

      Looking at your account, I can see that your account was deactivated on 5/2/2024 after being unable to collect payment. At the time you were subscribed to our Classic Monthly plan for $9.99/mo + tax. This plan allows access to all 50+ of our channels in HD quality. With this plan, you can also watch on 2 devices simultaneously, and you have access to our DVR (recording) feature, where recorded content gets saved to your account for 3 months. Upon resubscribing on 8/24/2024, our Basic plan was chosen, which is $7.99/mo + tax. This plan allows you access to our 50+ channels in SD quality and you can watch on one device at a time. You are unable to record content on the Basic plan.

      You can see a breakdown of all Frndly TV plans in our *********** under Plans Offered. You are also able to view all of your past billing history, and what plan you were subscribed to in your Transaction History via the Settings within your account. 

      In reviewing your communication with our Customer Experience team, I can see that our team provided you a similar explanation. If there is more information that we can provide you or questions that we can answer please let us know. We are happy to answer any you may have.       I was going through my bank statements, and I discovered a $10.59 charge for a friendly TV subscription. I looked into it and found out its been occurring monthly since 12/27/2022. I canceled it, and I asked about getting refunded since it was not used, and roku told me to contact Frndly support regarding refunds, so that's what I did. I explained to the Frndly representative that I did not sign up for this subscription, and I talked with my wife and kids, and they couldn't recall doing so either, but it's difficult to remember something that occurred around Christmas time from 2 years ago. That being said, I was told by the company representative and his supervisor I could only get refunded for 3 months even though I did not use service. I was hoping the company would offer me a full refund for approximately 21 months of unused service, but I would have accepted at least half of what I was charged. I was told that the company doesn't do refunds but they make exceptions on a case to case basis, but I feel 3 months was very unfair when I've never used their service.

      I have reviewed your past conversations with our team. I can confirm that all you were told was factual. Although you had a subscription for Frndly TV, we cannot process refunds for any charges past 90 days because Roku is your ****** for this subscription. 

      Even if you were being billed via Frndly TV directly, refunding the past 3 months is standardly the most that our team can compensate in situations similar to yours. Our team does not create, cancel, or monitor the usage of active accounts, but we understand that things slip by, and it's clear in your account history that you were not using the account. Account holders are responsible for managing their account as they see fit. I am happy that our team provided you with the maximum refund we were able to process.

      I am English only yet Frndly continues to run ads in FOREIGN LANGUAGES which is scamming advertisers as their ads are not reaching their designated viewers. I have repeatedly notified Frndly of their running Foreign Language ads on my ENGLISH ONLY EQUIPMENT to no avail. The ads change but the ******************* Tires, ****** many California Government ads continue to run every ad break.

      We have reviewed your past conversations with our team to ensure there is no confusion moving forward.

      We can't speak to your device being 'English only equipment,' but content aired on Frndly TV is not exclusively in English. Most of our programming and commercials are in English, but not all. We manage some of the commercials aired on our app, others are managed and aired by the network themselves. Our team is consistently working to mitigate duplicate commercials from playing repetitively and to remove what may be consider 'vulgar' commercials from airing. Commercials in Spanish are not considered 'vulgar' just because they are not in English.

      While we understand that this is not the response you were looking for, we hope that you can understand Frndly TV services all people of ***************** and this is not something you can expect to change. Should you see any repetitive commercials, please let our team know. We want to ensure we are able to address and correct that from happening as soon as possible. 

      Additionally, although this is an inconvenience for you, we will be unable to compensate you for this. Frndly TV offers a free trail to all users to ensure you are happy with the content on our app before choosing to pay for our service.       I am rejecting this response because: ACCORDING TO THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA CONSTITUTION AND THE UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION WE ARE AN ENGLISH SPEAKING STATE AND COUNTRY. Your refusal to run ENGLISH ONLY IS A VIOLATION OF MY CIVIL RIGHTS.  It is illegal for Frndly TV to scam their advertisers by running ads in the wrong language to the wrong customers ie. Spanish ads run on English only.  The fact you state you will not correct this shows you think you are above the law.  If you continue to refuse to correct your advertising to run English only on my equipment I will file a Civil Rights Complaint against you.
