Do not provide refunds on unintentional renewals, godaddy does! Beware!! I had a domain name that was set to expire in a month and they renewed my today. I immediately contacted them to request a refund and they stated that they do not offer ANY refund on renewals. This is unfair. I highly suggest using another company with fair policies.Review from Joe S

Name.com sadly to say has went down the tubes. Very expensive domain names, renewals etc., from once a great price and also customer service which is horrible and you can only email them. Many other cheap domain name companies out there. Hopefully they change their tune and get back on ball and give decent pricing etc.Review from Donovan M

This is the worst domain name registrar. They had perfectly fine e-mail and they replaced it with paid e-mail starting with a three thousand percent markup and the service is worse than before with tons of spam. They call it ********** would be better named Trojan horse. And it is impossible to speak with anyone, only e-mail and forums. Anyone know a registrar with a deal on transferring domains?Review from David C

We have been trying to work with Name.Com support representatives for almost two years to resolve our inability to access our domains; access was lost through numerous staff transitions (D*********g.org). Name.com representatives have continually changed the evidence needed to get access to our account AND have requested materials we're simply unable to produce (e.g., asking us to go through the legal process of updating our Articles of Incorporation). Leaving this review is an act of desperation. Flagging here that we're going to do our best to provide as much as we can, and expect Name.com to step up to be helpful, rather than sending and re-sending the same form replies.Review from Jacklyn H

This company is a scam. I paid for a domain for two ****** ****** are canceling my domain after one year.I have attempted to contact them several times identifying myself, but they have NEVER contacted me. Name.com will not allow me to login to my account. They have ABSOLUTELY NO CUSTOMER SERVICE only a bot that only brings up certain topics.I may have to drive to their office in ******, but I fear no one will be there.This company is a ***** ****** are THIEVES!!!!!!!Review from Greg H

Avoid! Stick with GoDaddy or Domain.com, this second-rate site in most cases is just a reseller to one of those big ones anyway, depending on the TLD.They advertised $0.99 for a .co domain throughout shopping, calculating cart total, and applying promo code. Set up an account with Name.com. Submitted payment info. Price became $245!After 2 weeks back and forth with customer service, they cant acknowledge the issue of the price changing on the very last step. **************** has repeatedly offered to help (re)process my payment for $245. I think ***** in customer service is a bot. ***** is unable or unwilling to understand my complaint, let alone addressing it.Save your time and save your money. Stay away.Name.com, Inc. Response

A+ Service! I was able to work with the customer support team to enable Office 365 for my business and was well informed as it related to managing DNS records. Specifically to individual consumers and small businesses: read the BBB complaints section. Prior to 2014, my domain hosting and hosted email needs were with another company. I was unhappy with its customer service and found ********************. ******* ago, I became a Name.com customer. When I transferred domains and products, I was over-the-top elated with Name.com's customer service! While I am more of a tech enthusiast, Name.com made me feel valued. At that time, one could telephone and get step-by-step assistance if needed. The company has since switched to a limited live chat support model. Recently, I purchased a new desktop and needed assistance with hosted email setup. Something wasn't working and I checked Name.com's article database, conducted internet searches, and used my troubleshooting skills. No success so I set aside time to chat with a human ***. The *** directed me to the article knowledgebase. I continued the chat by explaining in-as-much detail as possible the assistance I needed. The *** replied with "submit a help ticket" as a solution. Although frustrated further, I submitted a detailed support ticket. The automated email reply reads, "We've received your email "Email Setup - Apple Mail" and will respond as soon as possible. We are currently experiencing a higher than usual ticket volume, and as a result there may be delays before we can reply to your ticket."If you are an individual or small business which may need guided tech support or frequent assistance, I strongly encourage you to consider other companies.Name.com, Inc.
