      Hello, I am currently in law school and am really struggling with finances. Therefore, I froze my account to give myself time to give 30 days notice. Come to find out, the 30 days is required from an active membership. So, no matter what I cant get out of this membership without paying for an additional month that I do not want. Over $200 is a ridiculous fee that is REQUIRED for cancellation. If it was even a few days less it wouldnt lock you into another month. Other companies have been sued for this practice, and I cant believe Corepower is still able to implement what is essentially a $200+ cancellation fee. Ridiculous that I have to pay essentially all of my monthly money to get out of this.

      I went to CorePower and asked for a package of 5 classes. I was told about a $99 month package and that there will not be recurring fees. I agreed to it verbally. I later noticed that they kept charging my account and that I was locked in an autorenewal package and that a 30 day notice was needed. I never agreed to this and reached out to CorePower to resolve this however they did not honor what I was told. Now that I'm experiencing this, I'm seeing other customers are dealing with similar issues. Flagging this to the BBB as these practices are not ethical.

      Predatory billing practices. I do not write this lightly; I have practiced with CorePower for over 10 years (and even used to work on their studio team!). After losing my job, I froze my membership to give myself time to decide how to proceed. When it became clear that I would not have the money for the foreseeable future to support the membership, I was told that I would need to REACTIVATE my membership for 30 days before I could cancel it. This is entirely unnecessary, expensive, and plain insensitive. I'm disappointed in what this company has become and will not be reactivating, even though I expect to be able to afford it in the future! The classes themselves are great, but the fine print is incredibly disappointing.

      BEWARE as there are a lot of car break-ins at this location AND ********** is aware of this issue. They have done NOTHING about it, but add one camera inside the studio. I went to a 7:45am yoga class, walked out and my car and two other cars were broken in to. Waited until 12:00 pm for police to arrive that day. CP response was that, You live in a big city and should be used to crime. After being a member for 10 years they refunded me only half my membership for that month (after arguing with them) and cancelled my membership immediately. It seemed like I was more of a headache to them instead of standing by their mission of, Community. We unite with open hearts and inspire real connections, in the spirit of service, to encourage everyone to thrive. After being a loyal member for over 10 years, they really do not care. I was just a number to them. I have since started going to a new yoga studio where the owners really do treat their members like a community and are very caring, inspiring, and thoughtful. Support local Yoga studios and NOT corporate like CP where you are just a number.

      Great classes, great community and overall a great experience. The people complaining about the billing, they obviously didnt read how the billing works when they signed up. They are transparent about it when you sign up, but if you just blindly click through, youll obviously miss the crucial info.

      Been a Corepower student over 6 years. Most complaints are because of billing issues on here. Mine is completely different.FOR OVER 10 MONTHS NOW *******, SAN DIEGO, ********** STUDIO HAS HAD ISSUE WITH THE HEATERS AND HUMIFIERS FOR BOTH STUDIOS NOT GETTING HOT FOR A HOT POWER FUSION *****. THE ***** TEMPS ARE BARELY LUKEWARM AT BEST. THIS LAST FRIDAY 1/19/2024, I ATTENDED THE THE 4:15 PM ***** FOR HOT POWER FUSION.THE ***** WAS BARELY LUKEWARM. I WAS ACTUALLY COLD FOR THE MAJORITY OF THE *****.THEN AT END OF ***** INSTRUCTOR PROPPED DOOR OPEN WITH 50 DEGREE AIR COMING IN.MY BACK SEIZED UP AND I COULDN'T WALK STRAIGHT.I WENT HOME AND WENT INSIDE MY STEAM SAUNA FOR ***** MINUTES TO TRY TO LOOSEN UP MY BACK. IT TOOK 2 DAYS FOR MY BACK TO LOOSEN UP.FOR 10 MONTHS NOW COREPOWER ******* STAFF HAS SAID " WE ARE WAITING FOR A PART, RTC."EXCUSES, EXCUSES, EXCUSES,I GUESS ITS THE WAY CORPORATE COREPOWER IS RUN. VERY TERRIBLY I SHOULD ADD ESPECIALLY SINCE THE COMPANY GOT BOUGHT OVER SINCE THE CEO'S PASSING.IF THIS INCREDIBLY CHEAP COMPANY DOING THINGS THE WRONG WAY.JUST REPLACE THE HEATERS AND HUMIDIFIERS FOR GODS SAKE.RIDICULOUS MAYBE I SHOULD GET 100'S OF MEMBERS TO TO THREATEN TO HOLD MONTHLY MEMBERSHIPS TO GET THIS PLACE TO PROPERLY FIX THE HEATERS AND HUMIDIFIERS THEY LITERALLY DONT EVEN LIFT UP A FINGER WHEN YOU ASK A STAFF MEMBER "WHEN IS THE HEATERS GOING TO BE FIXED?", THEY HAVE NO ANSWERS.I WILL BOYCOTT ******* LOCATION UNTIL THIS IS FIXED PROPERLY LITERALLY CAUSING ME BODILY HARM TO GO TO COLD *****ES

      Just want to echo what's below. Awful customer service. Misleading descriptions of class packs that are then non refundable. Don't ever buy anything online.

      Be careful!! Horrible billing practice's and customer service. I did the introductory month and was only able to go to one class because I found out I was pregnant shortly after. I was bummed about not being able to use the membership but thought it would run out at the end of the month so of course I was fine with the first month charge and wasn't going say anything. Then I got charged another month of $189 that I was unaware of. Love how they don't send you monthly emails of the charges. It was not fully explained to me at sign up that the billing was reoccurring. So I call and then come to find out not only is it reoccurring its a 30 day cancellation policy which is ridiculous! So now i'm going to get charged another month because I called past the 30 days. I'm a business' owner and would never treat my customers this way nor want take their money especially under circumstances. So insane! Zero stars.

      I signed up for a membership and enjoyed it for a short amount of time before I got a new job with long hours. After a while I realized the membership was getting too expensive for me to only be able to go maybe once or twice a week. I spoke to someone behind the front desk on how I can cancel my membership and of course she encouraged me to stay but I expressed that I just had no time to come in anymore. She understood, looked up my account and tells me it was taken care of. I was completely under the impression that my membership was no longer active but as my credit card gets declined I checked my bank statements to find that I have been getting charged $159 for the past 4 months, thats over $600. I talked to this person back in May. After contacting the manager they only offered to refund the last month charged and $477 in credit due to their absurd policy. That would be great if I even had time to use the studio. I have hospital bills and student loans to pay but at least I have $477 in Corepower money? Very disappointed with the outcome.

      Predatory billing practices. They will not let you cancel a membership online or in the app. They require you to either call or email them, and they require 30 days' notice. There's no legitimate reason they need 30 days to cancel a membership. I'm moving out of the country and canceled 29 days in advance, and they are pro-rating my membership. Ridiculous.
