      We have been customers for 19 years. I received a call from this company saying are box has to be updated because it is becoming obsolete. They said there was no charge. I agreed to this change. At no time did anybody tell me this entails an additional two-year service agreement. This was simply due to the box I had becoming obsolete. I received a letter in a few days afterwards saying I had agreed to a new 2 year service contract. In the course of the next two days, I spoke to four different agents for Dish Net. All of them said this contract was waived. However, this was not actually officially entered and theyre sticking me with this. I talked to one guy who even said no one ever contacted me about getting a new box and that there were no notes about contract waiver. This despite four different people telling me in their notes, the contract was waived.

      Paying 7$ plus tax for the **** that Dish installed and it has stopped working. **** in customer service AND in billing AND in technical support could not fix issues I have with the **** not working and refused to allow me to return for a replacement and refused to stop billing me the monthly charge for usage of this defective device.

      I don't really like Dish Network. Doesn't have as much & good channels that Directv has. I live with my mother. She doesn't really know how to use the internet. Still pays bills; old fashioned way. She is also observant. Noticed that the recent bill; price went higher. Had to pay more. She called them. Asked them why; she had to pay more. They said because she had ordered a wrestling/boxing match/fight. We never did! They are lying! I like Directv but it's expensive. Another thing that I don't like about Dish is that is has nude/Playboy channels. I never asked for that! I want entertainment channels like TNT,FX, History Channel, National *********** *** ****** etc Local channels too.

      $500 gift card for switching to Dish is a scam. They said I'd get an email to receive the gift card. It never came. Now they're saying the offer is expired! We continue to get the same offer in our mail at least once a month! It took AN HOUR on the phone to get to this answer! They claim they're "escalating" my complaint and I'll hear back in 2 WEEKS. If they follow through I'll amend my comment. If they don't I have many choice words to add. Based on other comments here I'm probably just at the beginning of a long fight that will get me nowhere. AND we also don't like the service itself. DirecTV was better.

      Dish network wants to charge you early termination fees. Bc you had yo leave dish because of their data breech... I couldn't contact anyone. Phone didn't work, website wad locked... for a month in a half we couldn't use the services we paid for..

      Was Happy with Dish Network until today, I am a current Dish Network customer and have recently built an additional structure on my property which i just installed 4 new tv's in (Guest House not close to ********** where the current Dish Network equipment is) So i decided to call Dish and set up another package with them. THE ABSOLUTE IDIOTS at Dish Network could not set me up because both structures are at the Same Address. After 2hours on the phone and talking to over 14 representatives apparently Dish Network does not want more Revenue from me. Have already made another choice for my guest house and will be looking to CANCEL Dish Network completely do not care what it cost!!!

      Last summer we were hit by lightning. Lost the ****** and 2 ****'s. Had a local dealer replace them. (This was at our summer home in N.E.) He evidently also signed us to a long term contract. I am almost 77, fell in Jan 24 am now restricted to ******. We had to sell our summer home. I called Dish, to cancel my summer house Dish. I was told l would have to pay a $200.00 cancelation fee!!! I had called 2 weeks before closing l thought giving them time to send me the boxes to return their stuff. They said l would be charged for the box to ship there equipment back!!! AND....They won't send it until ***** days after cancelation!!! Meaning l'll have to bring their stuff wit me to **, hope l get it before surgery l have scheduled when l return. ( I have DISH at my winter home), And l told them l would cancel my Dish there if they couldn't drop the $200.00 "Early Cancelation Fee" which l was informed l had. Well.....you guessed it. They are fine with losing a 15 year 2 location customer over $200.00 and a $20.00 charge for a box to send THEIR EQUIPMENT BACK.

      I have been a customer with Dish for 9 years and have never experienced the problems I have this last time I requested assistance with my internet. I feel like I was yelled at when I was trying to speak with someone on chat when I was not home because the chat is only for TV services. When I called Sunday about my issue, my cell phone dropped the call because of poor service in my location. When I called back, I was told no direct line of communication to the person I had previously spoken to. I was finally able to speak with a supervisor and get an appointment set up for yesterday. After no call from the tech while I was able to receive service, I called back and found that the date was changed to Friday without my consultation. I requested a representative, who again stated there was no direct line of communication between departments or the techs. I requested a supervisor only to be told they were the supervisor. I was finally able to change the appointment to today and am sitting in an area where I have service, but I am having to take an extra day off from work to deal with this issue.
