1 starBought a new ********* offered 6 months Free STARZ!. Wow So I went to Starz website and entered my info. They also insisted (via chat) I enter my card...I should have seen it coming! Went to tv checked app they wanted to know if I wanted 7 days free trial??! Checked with my ************ had already with drawn FROM ********** Now it was only $10.99 (monthly fee withdrawn.) But I still being billed and could not watch! My stomach churned... I previously had it bundled, now NADA! So am wondering if I should have contacted tv company which offered 6 months free but called bank instead! They did without a fee! They did an Investigation for the $10.99 & sent me a letter about a month later saying I received money deposited back & have heard the last of it. Love my bank!But I missed the final few episodes of Outlander!! After watching for years. :0 so sad. I'll this drama for me simply because companies have become so impersonal to save _$$$. At first was going to ask if they offered a discount for seniors. Guess I'm just remembering the better times of commerce.Review fromJoan G

1 starI opted in for 6months of stars for 19.99 they charged my card then I could not access on any system. tried to contact support of course you can only talk to a bot ....the phone number they give out will not send you to a real person. When I was speaking to the bot they said they could not find any account with my information. Even though they charged my card. it was obviously a scam. They never reached back out to me . do not get STARZ it is a scam and when you try to login it will keep asking you to claim another offer and will not allow you to log in until you pay more moneyReview fromTamara M

I contacted Starz in May and July about duplicate payments coming out of my account. They told me that if i couldnt provide verification of the email address they couldnt assist. I told them I had verification of the duplicate payments from my ****** account and bank account. The *** told me that perhaps the charges were Holds being placed on my account that would be released after things were verified...Ok, i thought. That kinda makes sense, ill check back. When I checked in May the duplicate charge was gone. In July i noticed the duplication occured again, i contacted Starz and told them my account has duplications, she stated she again, that she could not find or locate it and the email address i gave was not matching... TURNS OUT a fraud email was being used for my account, why this email was used and coming from my account I have no clue because it was a charter.net email which i do not have. I told them that this has been going on for at least 4 months, i had the invoices to prove it (******** + ********, 86612810+86612452, 84823652+84823322) and they told me that because it's my responsibility to keep track of any misappropriate charges to my account, they do not provide refunds or credits. I asked that they escalate my account and informed them that I DID notify them several times about the double billing but they did NOTHING. now I have to wait for an escalation about these charges and an investigation which SHOULD have taken place when i contacted them the first time. Starz is getting over with these double billing issues and keeping money that should rightfully be returned. For all I know, this could have been a Starz employee who created a fake email account to funnel money.Starz Entertainment Group, LLC

STARZ charged my debit account for over a hundred $3.27 entries in the same month, resulting in hundreds of dollars in loss. I have looked on their accounts site and can not see where I mistakenly signed up. I also do not recall STARZ being joined with Amazon or ****** as a trial. I do not remember signing up. Regardless, for monthly services, how can they charge that many entries? I do not even have an account with **********************. I am filing disputes with my bank. This, again, is many hours of labor and being on hold as the investigation continues.Starz Entertainment Group, LLC

We see that all charges were disputed, and we have acknowledged the disputes with your bank and released the funds on the dispute. Your bank should acknowledge those refunds within a few business days. It appears your card may have been compromised by a third party, and we recommend that you continue working with your bank to ensure that the charges are all resolved and that there are no other unaccounted-for charges from third parties.Review fromMelissa B

1 starWow. No wonder they escalate your email when you mention reaching out to the BBB. I wasted more time than I care to admit dealing with these scoundrels. I guess I should feel fortunate that I was able to get my money refunded but thank goodness I keep a close eye on my credit card statement because they were overcharging me and that was all after a lengthy back and forth about the bait and switch on the promotion they offered on ******** that I signed up for and then they started billing me for something totally different. Unfortunately, if you are reading this review, you've probably already been taken advantage of and ripped off. I encourage others reading this to post on as many social media forums as possible to help keep others from falling for the deceptive practices of this shady company.Review fromJackie S

I feel like I got scammed signing up for Starz free trial via the ******** app. No matter how I try to log in through my pc, phone, or TV I cannot cancel. I feel like it's a trick.Starz Entertainment Group, LLC

The Starz "add on" to AppleTV is a promotion run by AppleTV for access Starz content as an add-on channel in the AppleTV storefront. Starzs direct-to-consumer service and the AppleTV add-on channel are two separate services run by two separate companies. Though subscriptions to the Starz add-on channel in the AppleTV storefront have access to the same content as subscriptions through Starzs independent standalone direct-to-consumer streaming service, those subscriptions are only accessible through AppleTV and as with other add-on channels in AppleTV, the subscription, customer service support, cancellation, and billing process are entirely handled by AppleTV. Starz does not even have access to customer name, account, subscription, or billing information for individuals who subscribe to the Starz add-on channel though AppleTV.

Starz offers great trial subscription prices, but they seem to be blocking my attempts to cancel it before the full price kicks in. They promise cancel anytime. I used app and my phone automatically inserts my log in info so no mis-typing on my part. The app gets stuck on verifying every time. I deleted app and reinstalled as help info suggests. No luck. 1 starI was charged fraudulent fee of $17.57 only six months into a $19.99 one year promo subscription. The customer service rep was rude and combative even accusing me of signing up for a 6mnths promo when I still had 6mnths left on my existing account. He said the only way to refund the illegal & weird amount charge ($17.57) was to cancel my acct. So ultimately I was shorted the six months left on my promo and still waiting for the illegal charge to be returned/refunded to me. This company is crooked asf!!!Review fromjeff B

According to our records it appears your account was made through Apple. As with other add-onchannels in the Apple ecosystem, customer service support, cancellation, and billing processes are entirely handled by Apple. STARZ has no access to your Apple account, but we are happy to provide you with directions on how to cancel.

Tap on the App Store.
Select your profile in the upper right-hand corner.
Choose Subscriptions and then find STARZ.
