On 5/23/2024 I took my car to automotive reconditioning services too get Two estimates for insurance claims. I met a guy who called himself ****. And we talked about how he could help me with obtaining a repair estimate. I then explained that I have a claim with fleet response ins. And what they wanted to get repaired. He said he could either do a wet sand and buff. I asked how much it would be to have it painted? He said he could do it but the damages I had previously would make it a little harder to do. He said he couldnt just paint over the whole in the roof. I said that he would have to explain it to fleet response. He said that he would charge me 300 dollars to repair the damage to the trunk lid. I thought about it and suggested that I have a claim with ******************* And that they would pay for any supplement damages if he knew how that works. He replied that he did. And that they would want to do a virtual meeting. I said ok if they pay for the damages to the truck lid. Then that would take care of that. I explained to Mr. **** that they told me to get a estimate. I then reiterated that I had been paid by ******** in the past for this claim and how the damages occurred. Je written the estimate for the claim. And as i was leaving we confirmed that we would wait to hear from ******** before proceeding further. He said he would just work on the claim for Fleet response. 2 weeks later. He call me and said he was ordering parts for the vehicle. And ask if I heard from ********. I said I did. And I have the estimate they sent back. He said send it to him. As I did. I told him that it doesnt look like they are paying for the estimate he provided. And that they only paid 700 dollars. He responded that that would be for a reimbursement for damages that was already repaired. Now the owner says. I owe ***** dollars. Not including 1440 that was paid. And refuse to release my car. And threaten to sue me. Because Allstate didnt cover the costs of repairs.

    To whom  it may concern,
After investigating The facts in This complaint I Have found The following after speaking to ********, Safelight auto glass and Fleet Response. ** ******** started an initial claim with ******** on his vehicle the initial estimate was for the following Rear Glass Assembly and tail lamp assembly to make the vehicle safe to drive to an authorized Repair facility ** ******** Took his vehicle to Safelight auto Glass to Have the rear glass replaced Where he said They scratched his Vehicle installing The glass and started a claim with them (fleet *************************** MR ******** then brought His Vehicle to us along with the claim Number ******* for fleet response and asked My Manager to write him one estimate for wet sand and buff and one estimate to paint the scratched areas. which we told ** ******** The scratches were too deep and would not Buff. so we turned in a estimate to refinish the areas. while he was there he said I started a claim with ******** for all of these bullet hole damages why don't you see what you can get from ******** on that work That's why I was getting The rear Glass done at Safelight so I could drive it I also bought the new tail light. So My Body shop Manager **** Did a virtual supplement with ****************** which is done on a smart phone or iPad where you can show The adjuster the damages in realtime Video Chat which are recorded by the way and I am trying to get a copy. we went over all the bullet hole damages with him at that time where **** said make sure you find out why my car continues to honk when I am turning a corner which was addressed as well there was actually a bullet in the steering wheel rolling around so when he turned a corner it would ground out and make the Horn go off. so we got our virtual supplement approved and began repairs. in my exhibits on left side of the repair we got approved  you will see S01 which means supplement one and almost the whole estimate has them we completed all of the repairs and called ** ******** to come pick up his car almost a  week went by and he showed up on Friday afternoon the 26th I believe just so happened I was in Town and I met with him and told him what he owed to pick up his car he went crazy in my office among other customers he did not want to pay for the *********************** That I went over with him even the costs I refunded him because he bought Parts like back glass and tail light assembly totaling $1,394.00 and I also refunded him paint operations so he was not billed twice between both claims. Roof paint time $193.80 deckled paint time $127.50 and finally paint materials for $260.00 That left a balance owed from Allstate of $3,160.68 and we are not sure if the customer understands That he has a insurance deductible of $2000.00 he has to pay out of pocket and not only that he had the ***************** cancel both supplement checks made out to my company and direct deposit the funds to his bank account. He did not like That I Told him he Had to pay for these Repairs Before he could have his Vehicle. So He called the Union city police 911 Number again ************** come to my Place of business full of customers and cause a scene ********** Officer after looking at all of my documentation Told ************************************ To Get His Vehicle Back. He Then Got Upset with ********** officer and Told Him he did not Know what he was Talking about and called 911 on The officer So They Sent out ********** sergeant and he Told Him The Same Thing He Has To Pay For The Repairs To Get His Vehicle Back he Can Not make me give it to Him Until He Pays his bill and Removed him from my premisses. I Have uploaded all the documentation I spoke of in This Email By The way I never said I was going To *** Him I said he could have his car once he paid for the repairs and he said he was calling the ** I said that's fine My Attorney can Handel it with him. This gentleman was very disrespectful and made a huge altercation at my Place of business in front of other customers when he pays for The *********************** on his vehicle he is welcome to it. I have an A+ Rating with BBB For a Reason because I do The Right Thing and I Tell my Employees the Same Thing in Our meetings At The End of The Day if you Do The Right Thing That's all anyone can ask you For. And I hope ** ******** Can Do the Right Thing as well and pay For his Repairs.

    Here are Exhibits

    Regards,

    Will ****** ********.

I am rejecting this response because: The Owner of *** admits his company mistakes and unprofessionalism committed by his team. He never shows how much he was paid from Fleet response insurance. And that I came with two auto claims one for supplement within the All-state claim. He said that All state approve of the work before repairs were done. And that he has it recorded in a virtual interview. Done by his ***************** He says S01 was approve all through the estimate. The S01 also states on page 5 next to Adjuster ****** ***** name the amount that was approve was ****** there is no deductible amount due. Because it was already paid on the E01 portion of this claim. in the amount of *****. minus ***** deductible that was paid in April. The shop also claim that they call me and i didn't come till a week later to pick up on a Friday. When it was actually a Monday evening around 3-4 pm the shop closes at 5. It was no costumers there. Jus me and the employees. My mom was also there as she witness majority of the situation. I was called disrespectful. I did not make a scene as I call the authorities to get a report of the incident. I think any sane person would be highly upset if their property was illegally held. The check for ****** was cancelled because I told the manger to not do any work on my car from ********. He completely ignores my wishes and did not answer any more of my calls. I left numerous messages on Mr. **** voicemail. He never return my calls. They bleatingly did what they wanted to get extra from ********. Witch that was not the initial reason my car was at they shop.
    Sincerely,

    **** ********

I went to Automotive reconditioned solutions trusting that they were providing me with proper care and service throughout my trying time. Instead i was taking advantage of. They used my faults of not knowing. Against me. For their own financial gain. I had two approved legitimate insurance claims. And I left the shop without a receipt, a car. And a anonymous prepared bill. That i was not aware of. Until time to pick up the vehicle. I truly believe that they knew exactly what they were doing the whole time. I dont understand how they could get away with this but so far they have. I will be seeking legal action against them. Thanks again for your support.
