At the beginning of last year I purchased a Subaru Crosstrek off of groove subaru. I hadnt even been driving this car for 4 months when I got an oil change and the same day, I heard a loud clanking sound and had it towed into groove to find out that the engine was blown. I drove a rental for 3 months while they were pulling me in every direction while taking no responsibility, eventually warranty decided to cover a new engine. The first engine they put in was a bad engine and then corrected that mistake. The car was fine until I brought it in once again for an oil change 2 weeks ago, this past Saturday I was driving on the highway when all of a sudden I heard that loud clanking sound again, the oil light came on and then all of the lights came on. I broke down on the highway without being able to accelerate and the entire engine was shaking when we opened the hood. I had it towed to groove Subaru. They are currently waiting on warranty to approve a new engine. This car is a danger to me and anyone on the road clearly, and they couldnt care less. Last summer was full of a lack of communication, blame being pointed at me and no responsibility being taken. I still owe a little over ****** dollars on this car. I received a call about trading this car in or selling to them and they offered 2500 because of the engine problems and hail damage(hail damage was already in this car when they sold it to me for ****** dollars). I am at a loss of what to do next and they could care less. I would love for them to strictly pay what I owe for my car plus what I had just put into it with 4 brand new tires so we could all go our separate ways.
