I parked in ************ in a lot on March 29, 2025. PRRS was the parking lot enforcement agency of the lot. They use ********** for the payment system. I parked my vehicle, and scanned the code to pay. The session started for 2 hours. Before the session expired, I attempted to extend it. I attempted to extend it through the text and received an error message; I tried to use the email link which would not allow me to extend the session; I even re-scanned the ** code to try to extend it. Again, the payment system would not allow me to extend. At that point, I left the lot. I then receive a bill for $97. After submitting proof of payment and advising of the system issue, they agreed to reduce it to $77. This fee is for 19 minutes over (which I spent that entire time plus some trying to get their system to work). I will agree to pay what I would have been charged to extend the session if their system was functioning.

I was issued a citation for $55 despite having paid for parking twice during the time in question. The citation was issued on 3/30/2025, at ***************************************************, under citation number GPDEN-******. I initially paid for parking through text2park on 3/29/2025 at 10:45pm, and after receiving a warning on my vehicle (1 hour and 15 mins). I walked back to my car to ensure my license plate was correct and I paid for an additional 23 hours and 45 mins at 12:14 AM on 3/30/2025 to ensure compliance. Despite both payments, I was still issued a $55 citation.I received the citation in the mail seven days later and immediately disputed it the same day. However, as of today, I have not received any response or update regarding the status of my dispute. I am concerned because I have no other means of contacting the issuing company directly, and I am worried this citation may be sent to collections without being properly reviewed or resolved.I have retained proof of both parking payments and my dispute. I believe this citation was issued in error and should be dismissed given my compliance and efforts to rectify the situation.

We do see your payment. On this lot you have 20 minutes to pay for parking upon entering the lot and you took 1 hour to pay which is why the notice was generated. You did however, pay for the full time so we will dismiss this notice and there is no further action needed.

On 02/17/2025 I parked in a lot near ****************. The building was closed for President's Day. The lot was almost vacant. There was no attendant to pay. A ** code was displayed on a bulletin board on the lot and price was posted at about $4.00. I used the ** code to pay. I got a confirmation text and thought my fee was paid. We returned to the car about 2-3 hours later and went to dinner. The card I used to pay the parking fee was declined at the restaurant. I thought that was strange. We returned to the car and a friend then noticed an envelope stuck at the bottom of the windshield. I thought it was an advertisement or charity and put it aside to open at home. The envelope contained a ticket for $87.00 for "unauthorized parking." I immediately called my bank and they concurred that I was probably a victim of a ** code scam. I then called the number on the **** ticket and left a message to pay. I also filed an online dispute and offered to pay the customary amount of about $4.00 all on that same day. My dispute was denied. I was then called on a fake number by someone claiming to be with ****. He offered to reduce the fee to $67.00. I asked for a bill to be sent via ****. He got very hostile. I was then sent a letter by their Collection Attorney demanding payment of $67.00. I have made several good-faith efforts to pay the customary fee for parking in the lot. The ** code displayed on the lot took my payment. The same day I was ticketed $87. Beginning the day after this incident I have been inundated with ********* companies demanding payment for tolls, parking fees, bridges, and other nonsense. I spent weeks deleting and blocking these emails and texts. Upon further investigation of **** I have learned this is a pattern with them. It is a scam from **** and many people have paid these exorbitant fees thinking they were going to have their credit records marked if they did not pay.

Unfortunately, it is the consumer's responsibility to make sure that they payment went through and there are payment signs on the lot that show you how to pay and also a machine to pay through as well. This notice is valid and we consider it closed and paid in full since you already paid for it.

I parked in the lot at ***********************************************************, om 3/29/2025. I paid the full parking fee of $37.10 before leaving the vehicle in the lot. I sat in the car for a limited time before paying the fee as I waited for the rain to let up before exiting the vehicle to register and pay the fee. I did not see any signage indicating a minimum registration time. The assessed fee of $55.00 for late registration for a relatively short period of time is excessive and is being charged without clear prior notice. There were many open spaces in the lot during the period I waited for the rain to lessen, so I lot did not lose any revenue while I waited to register.

      Business Response

We do see that you paid for parking. On this lot you have 20 minutes to pay for parking and you took 22 minutes to pay so it generated a notice. We do see however, that you paid for the full time on the lot so we will dismiss this notice and there is no further action needed.

3/13/2025 is the date of the issue. I was not driving the car in question. Car was parked in a ProPark Mobility lot, paid and have the receipt (attached). The receipt does not say how long the parking is good for. Just shows paid. I received a notice in the mail telling me I owe PRRS $80.00. I have the original receipt that shows no specific parking timeframe. I have called and disputed this notice online. I will not pay for anything to a company I am not even sure is affiliated with **************** and will not pay the reduced $15.00 for non-compliance when I was given the receipt by the person that parked when the receipt does not specify a parking timeframe. Again, I was not even driving the car.

I received a Bill/Notice of Non-Compliance for a parking violation at a parking garage in ****************. It is for an entry and exit on 3/23/25 from 11:01 am ET to 11:40 am ET. I pulled into the garage to make a purchase from a moving sale at the apartment complex. I never parked at the complex. I only pulled up to the door and waited for the seller to bring down the merchandise that I was purchasing. I remained in contact with her the entire time and was informed where to pull-in and wait for her. The amount of the "ticket" is $99. I attempted to resolve this issue by completing a dispute resolution form to Parking Revenue Recovery Services. They called me but did not resolve and only offered me a $20 reduction for the issue. They also did not have any proof of parking. They had images of my license plate upon entry and exit. Please resolve this matter by dismissing the notice.

      Business Response

      Date: 04/22/2025

The time on this lot goes from entry to exit and you must pay within 10 minutes of entering the lot. The times doesn't go from when you leave your vehicle. This is a valid notice and we will honor the settlement already given.

I am rejecting this response because: I am not convinced this is NOT good business. I went back to the lot and took photos (which I could not upload). ALL of the signs are indicating parking. I did not park my car. Parking is clearly defined as the action of bring a vehicle that one is driving to a halt and leaving it temporarily, typically in a parking lot or by the side of the road. Again, I was there for a moving sale.
