I parked at one of their lots at ***************, paid for 12 hours of parking, and was out within 4 hours. I got a notice for $87 saying I never paid. When providing them my parking receipt, they told me the lot was ******************************************************************** The problem here is that if you look up 1516 and ***************, they show the exact same parking lot. All of the signage in the lot says ***************, including the picture of my car they provided. *************** is not a real address. There is either an error in their system or they are purposely sending notices with the wrong address to try and collect additional payment.

****** is the license plate. The ******** lot owner will be contacting you to have this citation dismissed. Please fix the address discrepancy as *************** does not exist.

Date 5/11/2024 @3:04PM / location: ****************************************************************************** /Notice fee $90.00 / violation: no payment received I received this notice stating that I did not pay to park at the location above. We used the parking lot to feed the homeless and we stayed near the vehicle at all time. When I drove into the parking lot, the gate was up so I did not know that we will still need to pay to park if we were still at the vehicle. I called them and the agent was not helpful and kept saying she does not know how I didn't see the signs and again the sign was somewhere other than where I was in the parking lot. With the gates open that normal is a sign that you do not have to pay based on my experiences. I asked the agent how much was regular parking and she stated $15. Paying $90 instead of $15 is a big difference and only being offered $20 discount is crazy. Why are these companies so greedy? When trying to do a good deed I still get ******* on is so insane. I offered to pay the $15, which again I did not know that I needed to pay, especially since it was an hour in the day time. To receive this notice months later is even more insane. I would like to for a Supervisor to contact me and agree to take the $15 but not no $90 because the agent **** seem like she did not want to help me in any way. Basically saying I should have seen the sign (rude). I have never received a violation in the mail about parking because other parking lots have visible signs all over and at the enter of the parking lot. I honestly did not know I had to pay.

Unfortunately, this is a pay to park lot. The public can park in this lot and the gates are up due to the fact that you pay via your phone on an app or QR code. This means that the gates can stay up all of the time and you still have to pay for parking. We do apologize if you missed the signs that are on that lot, however, this notice is still valid and upheld. We will honor the settlement that you were previously given of $70.00. You can call to pay or discuss further at ************.

      Complaint: 22358597

I am rejecting this response because I did not see a sign at the enter of gate saying to pay $15.   The rude lady on the phone provided me with that amount.  I agreed to pay the $15 that I did not see at the time. I feel like you are not trying to compromise with me because $70 is a lot of money to park for an hour. Again I was feeding the homeless out of my truck.  I do not have $70 to give away!  Offer me something better than $70 instead $30 for a late fee.  Also, why did it take this long to notify me?  The entry gate should have a visible sign posted with amount stating its a fee if you enter regardless if you dont park and leave your car.

      Sincerely,

      Sherterica ****

I received a bill from Parking Revenue Recovery Services, Inc for $82.00 for a 10 minute unsuccessful attempt to park. The vehicle was never parked in this lot. My daughter is in the Army and she and three other colleagues attempted to park in this lot. None of the kiosks were working and all four of them texted the phone number listed on the parking sign and the link did not work nor did it allow them to input a credit card. The kiosk also did not work so they did not park or stay in the lot and they left after 10 minutes of trying. The bill shows the times they entered and exited which was 10 minutes. Its clear that they tried for 10 minutes to get the payment to work, and then they left since the link and the kiosk were not working. Therefore, they did not park or stay, and should not be charged. We should not pay or owe anything since they did not park and the parking link and kiosk were not working.

      Hi,

My full name is ***** *****. License plate: MA ******.

The Notice number on the letter I received is TCWSAT-089893.

Name, address, notice number and vehicle plate are all on the Notice letter that I received and attached to my complaint.

My daughter was driving the vehicle - she is in the military, active duty *** in the Army. She was with other military members who also tried to use the link and pay at the kiosk, none of them were able to get the link or the kiosk to work. So they left. From reading others who registered complaints on the BBB website, it appears as though this company has a history of charging people in the $80+/- range when they were unable to park because the payment methods set up by the parking company were not working.

Thank you, and please let me know if you need additional information.

The reason this parking notice was sent out is that you have 10 minutes upon entering the parking lot to pay for parking. Since she was on the lot for longer than that without paying the notice was issued. However, since she was there less than 20 minutes, we have dismissed this notice as a courtesy and there is no further action needed.

I entered a parking lot in downtown ****** and parked adjacent to a parking sign. I paid via this sign using the ParkMobile app. It was $15 dollars for 24 hours. When I went to my car an hour later, I had a ticket on my car from ****. These two lots were connected and no clear markings were made between the spaces. I was then fined $87 for parking in the wrong lot. I believe this fine is exorbitant when I clearly paid for parking. I request a debt validation for this parking fee.

Unfortunately, you did pay the wrong lot. The lot you paid in is not one of our lots so we can't dismiss this for being next to each other as we are only the enforcement company for one of them. We will, however, honor a settlement of $15.00 since you did pay for parking but just the wrong lot. If you would like to discuss further, you can call ************. You can also pay online via the link on the notice you received.

On 8-18-2024 I was visiting a patient at the *************** in ******, downtown and I parked my car at the near by parking lot for an hour and 11 minutes. I entered the parking lot at 2.25 pm. and exited at 3.36 pm. Since I could not find a parking attendant or a device to make the payment, I could not pay. Few days later I recieved a notice to pay $87.00. I contacted them and offered to pay the actual amount based on the hrly payment. I believe it is a scam luring people in and exorting money. They offered to settle the dispute for $67.00. I am willing to pay based on the hrly price.

I am rejecting this response because: To pay $67.00 for parking for one hr and 11 minutes is unreasonable. If they had a note saying it is only for monthly parking, and do nt take credit card or cash, i would have parked in some other nearby parking garage. Also they did not mention scan code only. I could not scan and I was looking for some other way to pay and I could not see an alternate way to pay. My phone don't have the capability to scan acode and pay. I can only pay for a resonable amount based on an hourly rate.

The company alleges that I parked in a parking lot. However, ALL of their machines were non-functioning and I spent an hour walking around the lot asking people if they were able to pay or how to pay because the machines would not accept my cards. Nobody else had paid and after asking questions, I left because I did not feel comfortable parking in a lot without paying. They sent me a bill for parking for 1 hour exactly when I never even left the lot. This is not a valid claim of debt.

      Customer response

      09/26/2024

I stand corrected. I was parked for 40 minutes before giving up trying to find a working parking meter - not 1 hour.

I am writing in response to the recent email I received regarding Notice# MICLE-****** for License Plate# *******, in which my dispute was denied, and I was offered a settlement of $72.00. While I appreciate your review of my case, I must reiterate that I can not afford this and the signage was unclear. Additionally, I want to note that I am a full-time student on ******** and SNAP, which I had previously informed your team about during the initial dispute process. As a student, my financial situation is limited, and the inability of your team to meet me halfway is both disappointing and disheartening, especially given that I am willing to make amends. Upon revisiting the parking area, I also observed that the signage indicating payment instructions is worn down and unclear, further contributing to the confusion. It is unreasonable to penalize customers when the available signage is inadequate. I ask that you take these factors into account, as they undoubtedly played a role in my situation.I would like to offer what I can toward the settlement, which is within my financial means. However, if you are unable to accommodate this, I would respectfully request that the notice be dismissed altogether. As a struggling student trying to make ends meet, I hope that you can find a more equitable resolution to this issue.

Thank you for providing this information. We have lowered the parking notice to $20 and the payment portal is reflected to show that amount so you can pay online.
