      I moved here in June of 2021, fresh out of college. At the time, this apartment complex was within my budget, quiet and relatively close to my job. Everything was ok for the first few weeks then I started noticing things I did not like! For starters, it was told to me that pest control visited the property regularly. That was indeed a lie.August 29, 2021 was when I first noticed that my apartment floods. I alerted the then assistant property manager of this issue and she stated to me that when building 12 was built, it was not leveled properly so theres always been an issue with flooding (Why wasnt I made aware of that when I moved in)? She offered to move me to an upstairs unit but of course didnt follow through on that promise and it didnt happen. This problem continued to happen in my unit multiple times during the 3 years I lived there. Upon moving out, I noticed that water not only came in through my patio door, but my front door as well ruining multiple pieces of furniture.Next, I started noticing that this complex really isnt as safe as they want everyone to believe. During my time here, I witnessed DV and even a shooting in February 2023.Lastly, My ** broke in my apartment on June 8th. When I began moving out June 21, it was still broken. I even called the front office and spoke with someone who stated theyd send maintenance but didnt! Prior to that, maintenance visited my unit 3 times before they stopped coming. At one point, it reached 84 degrees in there. Management was made aware that the issue wasnt fixed and didnt try to resolve it. I even received a not so pleasant call from *** the property manager trying to tell me that because I only submitted two maintenance requests regarding the ** that didnt make it a recurring issue. Yes, I only submitted two requests but I thought itd make more sense to communicate via email if they were already aware of the issue. Do yourselves a favor and avoid this place.

Regarding the pest issue you mentioned, our records indicate that no such issue was reported, and our recent inspection found no pest activity. The other issues you mentioned were never called in,and no other residents have reported them. As you have moved out, we advise all work orders to be reported promptly while you are still residing here so we can address them immediately. Many of the concerns you mentioned do not align with our communitys standards. However, we are here for you and want to ensure that all concerns are addressed. Please don't hesitate to call our rental office to discuss any issues further. Our property manager is also available and more than willing to meet with you to discuss any additional concerns you may have.We take pride in providing excellent service and ensuring our residents are comfortable in their homes.

      Drove an hour for a tour I received three emails confirming the appointment. Get here to find a piece of paper on the door telling me they are closed. It's a s*** hole.

      Recently moved in *******************. The carpet was all wet and they said the water came from moving the fridge but what really is, is that the ac is leaking and that is the day before we moved in. it's been 2 weeks and they came 4 times still can't fix it. I called as much as I can and the water is starting to spread to the bedroom and entire house.

      I live at The ******************, ********** **. I've been here almost a year and this is the worst and depressing place I have ever lived. I have tried to get a call back from you guys. This has nothing to do with the maintenance staff here, they are wonderful. My issue is with ****** or whatever her name is. The first month I was here none of my outlets worked in my kitchen and she lied to everyone saying I had to many appliances plugged in! Seriously there was no power in my kitchen I could NOT plug anything in! I had to threaten to call my own electrician before she would help. I also was ignored by her regarding my doorknob to my apartment literally hanging off. I couldn't sleep because I was so scared. My parents bought a new doorknob and installed it so I would be safe. My dishwasher broke 6 months ago and she lied saying I DECLINED a new one! She also also doesn't care that I have no air conditioning and thinks a portable one is appropriate. It's so hot in here I am physically sick. I asked her for a new mail key 7 months ago and nothing! My kitchen light has been broken for 4 months. My bathroom fan has been broken for 10 months. She told me I lied about these issues however I have everything printed out so she is a liar. She should not work in any type of customer service! If it wasn't for **** and **************** probably would be in worse shape living here. Those 2 guys are simply the best and I can't thank them enough. The maintenance staff is not the issue it's her. She is mean and lies through her teeth because she's lazy.

We want to clarify that the electrical issues were present before the current Property Manager took over and the current Property Manager was more than happy to assist you. We have since repaired the electrical problems, and its our understanding that you have not reported any further electrical issues. Regarding your other maintenance requests, our records indicate that you informed us of your plan to move out at the end of your lease and preferred not to have any additional work orders completed.Despite this, when our Property Manager spoke with you, she offered to resubmit the work orders to ensure your comfort and satisfaction. However, when our maintenance technician arrived, you declined the repairs.

      Our Property Manager is more than willing to meet with you to discuss and address any remaining concerns or repairs you feel are necessary before your move. We strive to provide the best possible service and want to ensure that your living experience remains positive for the remainder of your stay.Please feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience to schedule a meeting or discuss any further needs you may have.

We have offered multiple alternative units, but she prefers a specific area on the first floor with no stairs. While we aim to accommodate her, we cannot guarantee these preferences will eliminate noise from neighbors. Our goal is to provide a living environment that meets the diverse needs of all residents, and we must balance these needs within the constraints of our property layout and available units.

      I have been renting from the Retreat of Woodridge for almost 3 years now . I was mislead about my unit during the entire move in process. After I moved in they asked me vua email for my 2 year olds personal information including her SSN. The pool is almost never clean and the residents are always cleaning it. The office will not allow the online portal to allow to put in your own payment amount or allow split payments. They are making up new policies that are NOT in our lease and invade our privacy rights. The Retreat of Woodridge wants visitors to register their vehicles with them and inform them of which unit they're visiting ... Again, not in our lease agreement and a total violation to our privacy as tenants. On top of that , they are now threatening to tow off vehicles that back into parking spots because they can't see their their plates , EVEN THOUGH these vehicles have been registers with the complex and are also written in our lease !!

Regarding your concerns, it's important to note that in accordance with our lease agreements, we may regulate the time, manner, and place of parking for all vehicles within our community. The pool is cleaned every morning, with routine maintenance occurring on Mondays. As stated in an email to all residents, the pool attendant and management team, at their sole discretion, reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone, or to ask anyone not following the rules to leave.       No stars. ?? I live at Arcadia Grove and live in shared housing!! HUGE MISTAKES!!!!! THEY DONT DO ANYTHING ABOUT A NASTY DIRTY SMELLY RESIDENT, THEY DO NOTHING ABOUT ANOTHER RESIDENT TAKING MAIL,THEY DO NOTHING ABOUT ANOTHER PERSON ENTERING YOUR ROOM.BUT YET WANT U TO PAY RENT!!!!!       I CALLED MANY TIMES BEFORE I RCVD EML FROM ******* I AND ************** IT IS IN REF TO THE **** APTS. I AM TRYING TO GET HELP WITH A SITUATION WITH THE *** AND GETTING NOWHERE. THEY CALL ME AND MY PHONE DOES NOT RING BUT THEY ARE ABLE TO LV MSG ON MY VCML WHICH IS ODD. ******* HAS SAID SHE WOULD CALL ME AND DOES NOT. IT IS BAD ENOUGH WITH PROBLEMS WITH THE **** BUT NOT I AM NOT GETTING HELP FROM THEM EITHER. I DO NOT KNOW WHAT IS THE REASON FOR ME NOT TO BE ABLE TO RECEIVE PHONE CALLS FROM THEM BUT THEY CAN LEAVE A MESSAGE AND EVEN THEN, I AM NOT GETTING ANYWHERE. I WILL NOT RENT FROM ANY PROPERTIES FROM THE MONARCH IN THE FUTURE. I WILL NOT KEEP EMAIL THESE PEOPLE OR THE MANAGEMENT AT THE ****. I MOVED INTO THE **** IN FEBRUARY AND THE MANAGER HAS CREATED A PROBLEM AFTER ABOUT A MONTH LATER AND GETTING OTHER PEOPLE INVOLVED. IT IS NOT THE APARMTENTS, IT IS SOME OF THE SO-CALLED PEOPLE WORKING THERE AND IT IS NOT JUST THE OFFICE PEOPLE. I DO NOT EXPECT A RESPONSE SINCE EITHER.

      Starts out great then they use and abuse you. Even if have an offer letter or promotion offer letter, they do not and will not honor it. They will show you a piece from the handbook that states they have the right to change any offer for any reason. So that offer you have is worthless.They will give you raises and promotions but as soon make good money your assets manger will say you are over compensated and try to find reasons to fire you to bring someone in else cheaper after you turned this c*** property around.If it give them a 2 week or more notice they will make sure you dont get your earned quarterly bonus.In the 3-ish years I worked there, I had 4 different regional managers. Well this last one still has assistant **************. She has to prove herself to get the **************. Shes been here since Oct 2023 and its now April 2024 and they still havent make her regional manager, so what does that tell you?Just dont bother to work here.
